Angelina Jolie on surprise Baghdad visit

HOLLYWOOD actress Angelina Jolie has arrived in Baghdad on a surprise visit as a United Nations goodwill ambassador promoting action to help the two million people displaced by Iraq’s war.

Jolie was due to address a news conference at the US embassy in Baghdad’s fortified Green Zone, US officials said.

The glamorous Oscar winner said in an interview with CNN that while many governments were aware of the plight of Iraqis “there never seems to be a real coherent plan to help them”.

“There’s lots of goodwill and lots of discussion but there seems to be a lot of talk at the moment and a lot of pieces that need to be put together,” she added.

According to the CNN report, Jolie met the US commander in Iraq, General David Petraeus, and Iraq’s minister for displaced people, Abdelsamad Rahman Sultan.

Thanks for posting this. It is totally reckless to give sick haters ideas about children. I am glad that he answered back on the lack of disregard that “lies and lies” have shown. There is a special place in hell for these people. Peace to all.

BRAD PITT has blasted a U.S. publication for publishing a “dangerous” story about a bogus death threat he and partner ANGELINA JOLIE have received.

The angry movie star has called the report, which suggested his daughter Shiloh has become the target of a sick pest, “reckless”.
In an article running in the current issue of weekly publication Life & Style, reporters claim Jolie and Pitt have increased security after discovering a chilling note targeting their biological daughter.
Sources claim, “Someone got to their doorstep and left a threat against Shiloh.” But Pitt insists the story is completely made up.
He says, “This is absolutely not true and reckless and dangerous to put these ideas out into the world.”

Pitt ‘furious’ at Shiloh death threat claim

Brad Pitt has hit out at a magazine which published a story about a death threat aimed at his biological daughter Shiloh.

The actor was furious after reading a report in Life&Style claiming that he and partner Angelina Jolie had found a threatening note on their doorstep.

They were alleged to have increased security at their home following the discovery of the letter, which read: ‘We got this close already.’ It was said to be accompanied by a photograph of Shiloh.

Pitt denied the claims, saying: “This is absolutely not true and reckless and dangerous to put these ideas out into the world.”

A man identifying himself as a freelance journalist was arrested outside the couple’s home last week.

So Angelina is in Iraq.Page six has YET again taken a photo and made up a story.Are you shocked?I’m not LOL.

No, it’s not odd. This is CNN, and she was not there being asked about a movie she’s doing. She was there on a UN mission talking about serious issues and not to talk about idle gossip. That’s all the pregnancy rumors are now (whether she’s pregnant or not), just idle gossip.
