WoW - “Yes, We Can” , I love it. I want a better United States of America, I want CHANGE. Barack Obama all the way. “Yes, We Can”

love this video.

jared — i think you’ve mistaken another person for alfonso ribeiro. he’s not in this…

Stupid idea. souds ridiculous, just like all of Obama’s speeches

Yes because if everyone listens to a song we can do things like fix health care, the economy, the war, education.

Everyone knows the democratic party will run in the same way whichever person is president. Goes same/double for the Republican party.
There is no yes we can because it’s not a single power or group of people who can clean this up. It’s just delaying the inevitable. Take the good with the bad, it’s just how cycles work.

And these songs really need to go because it just feeds the celebrity ego, that they had a hand in ANYTHING in motivating people. It’s not celebrity singing, it’s education and making better choices that will save this country!

Nick Cannon (Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out)

Woww I just have to say for those who say obama doesnt speak about plans on how to go about change, you guys need to actually give him a shot and read up on his platform, cuz I have news for ya! HE has plans! And I actually agree with him on a lot of the issues like health care and Iraq. Hillary clinton would MANDATE health care and if u agree with that its fine, I don’t. Obama wants affordable healthcare. He wants to make sure whoever wants healthcare will be able to afford it. He will mandate only KIDS. Clinton voted to authorize the war and now she wants to send the troops home. Obama opposed it from the very beginning. Hillary takes lots of money from lobbyists/special interests (lots of drug companies and health insurance companies) which would mean if she becomes pres, she would owe them a lot. Obama does not take any money from any of them. so why dont you READ up on him before you start saying that he does not have any plans for the future. in fact go to his website and ull find the answers to ur questions

I’m so glad someone recognized Esthero, she’s so talented. I love We R In Need of a Musical Revolution! I’ve finally made my decision and early voting starts 2/19 here in Texas, so lets get it started for OBAMA!

OBAMA O8!!!!!!!!!!THE CLINTONS HAD THEIR CHANCE TO MAKE A CHANGE NOW IT’S TIME FOR A REAL CHANGE!!!!!!!!
OBAMA O8!!!!!!!!!!!

this vid was surprising every celeb and singer that I see I was in awe I hope them among all other Americans will chose Obama as the
American president!

It is about time that we have a person who cares enough about all people of America and stands up to say it. Obama is speaker of words and a doer of deeds. I believe that he will do everything in his power to do what he says he will do. Everyone should wake up and see what has become of America and want more. I hope that the ignore people coming on this site to claim Go Hillary will understand that she is no better than Bush. Do we have to keep falling lower and lower until we live like other third world countries do. Obama wants all of us to get involved and claim and really believe that YES WE CAN! Thank you Obama for believing in the people of America and I hope and pray that you win. God Bless Obama!

johnson rod, can i have your love child?

OMG, this is beyond bad! A poor man’s We Are The World with vacuous Obama as Michael Jackson…Good luck, America, you need it! When your economy tanks, you can sell this record for charity - your own!

i’m french so it’s not really my place to say who should win but i like obama an this speech was so beautiful by the way i love scarlett johanson voice

The exremely talented Ed Kowalczyk of the band LIVE is also featured in the video.

I HOPE HE WIN

Where is Tracee Ellis Ross in this?? (Joan from Girlfriends)

Obama all the way baby!!! Yeah!! Aww and I love that Bryan Greenberg is in it..

Obama for President

The song was artistically well done and great speech/message.

for all those people who are buying into the “not enough experience” for both obama and mc cain doesn’t hold much water because 1) experience as what, being president? 2) at least if that is the case then they would be UNTAINTED unlike Billary .

hillary SUCKS! she is the worst EVER! i am a girl, and i dont think that a woman can actually b that powerful. OBAMA 08

I’m all for a fresh new start for our country!!! We need to stop being still so segregated and all just be Americans with nothing else before or after the title!!!

In case any of you were wondering, this video was not sponsored by barack obama’s political campaign, nor did they have anything to do with its production. Hence, someone saying “they are using pretty celebrities to sway the opinion of youthful viewers” is incorrect. It not “they”. This is a collaboration of celebrities that have effectively made a supportive video off thier own backs. Now im not so naive to say that they are all doing it just for Barack. They are celebrities. With the huge focus on the presidential candicacy etc, please remember that they will have (at least some of them) a self promoting agenda too. It was made in L.A, after all. Notice the random pretty but less well known celebs they put into the video to “cover a demographic”. [Eg-Eric Christian Olsen, just to show handsome white guys like the black senator guy too].(btw, he rocksors in ‘Not another teen movie’). I dont like to be cynical or to sit on the fence, but as a media studies student in Auckland, New Zealand i would like to say that i believe that video is NEITHER a sickening, sell-out, candy coated celebrity “advert” NOR the awe inspiring angelic “transendence of peace” revelation that it was clearly designed to seem like, and that some people go so far as saying. At the end of the day im sure its a bit of both. By the way, i have no real interests in American (or New Zealand, for that matter) politics but i would advise, in my opinion to, TOTALLY IGNORE THIS MUSIC VIDEO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR “real” PERSPECTIVE ON CURRENT POLITICS. If you love Obama thats fine, go for it. Rock hard and enjoy it. Its certainly very complimentary, and mabye he deserves it. HOWEVER if you were unsure about your vote, “on the fence” about who you would vote for, dont allow yourself to be enticed by the pretty celebs (tho for me i couldnt help it. I <3 Scarlett. Go Obama!!!OK just kidding.). If you are gonna vote, look at the policies, history and sponsors of each candidate and make your vote then. Yeah and mabye its an American thing, but try not to fly off the handle and judge it too strongly. Its a R&B ballad produced by a guy who does songs for 12 year old girls. If he was so into CULTURAL” CHANGE” THEN WHY ARE HIS PREVIOUS SONGS ABOUT TOTALLY UNRELATED AND (one might say) “DUMBASS” THINGS. Why only now does he decide that he’s gonna err on the inspirational side? It is a contradiction to be “inspired” by something if it has thoroughly uninspiring motives. Is it about change?, or just Obama?, or being famous and getting 6,736, 411 (and rising) views on you tube? Its up to you to decide.

Here is another Obama video to add into the mix. It left me feeling inspired showed me that anything is possible if you have enough belief in yourself
