Clinton-Obama: That’s the Ticket!
Rosie O’Donnell likes both candidates (Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama) equally and even wants them to run together! She writes:
“It’s still early yet, but so far I find both candidates believable. They are different, with a different mix of talents to bring to the political table, but they both seem to have the passion, plans, drive, and intelligence I want in my next president.
“Could a Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket be our future? I hope so. I think America would benefit from the strengths of either individual, but if those strengths were combined, we might just have the Democratic powerhouse the country needs to turn itself around, and back into peace, prosperity and opportunity.
“May they both release the desire to receive for oneself alone — and save the world together.”

DO YOU AGREE with Rosie that Barack and Hillary should run together?

I don’t think either candidate wants that. Hilary wants to be president no matter what…
I agree w/ Marie but it’d be nice for one of them to settle for runner-up. LOL
First!
Yes, and why not?
Hilary wants to have sole power you can tell. Thats why her a.ss is up there crying every night. But It wouldnt be a bad idea really.
well, I prefer Barack Obama - I think he is able to handle most difficult situation…while Hilary, in times of crisis, would probably turn to her poor acting skills - trembling voice, teary eyes blah blah blah…
Even though I don’t think either of them are going to back down, I agree.
I think Hillary should be president and Obama vice. Hillary is getting my vote today!
i prefer Hillary Clinton :)
hillary for president!!! obama coult be her vice president!
I think Clinton - Obama, or Obama - Clinton team would be magnificent.
Both have what to offer: Clinton has the experience, Obama has the thirst for changes, for actually doing something different. Together they would be wonderful.
Perhaps a Gentlemen deal like Blair/Brown did? Clinton gets the first term, then Obama. Or visa versa.
Obama all the way!
He doesn’t need (or want) Clinton. If he truly plans to united people and reach out to Republicans, he doesn’t want a Clinton anywhere near his White House. Besides, there is no way that Hillary would play second fiddle.
And if she got the nomination, I highly doubt that she would risk being upstaged by Obama or that Obama would want to compete with Bill Clinton as second in command.
It’s called a dream for a reason…’cause it ain’t never gonna be reality…
OBAMA ‘08!
No way they should run together. Whichever wins, they need to get a white male (Edwards) to run with them.
And, actually “reba” I think you are incorrect about Republican voters banding together against Hillary. Anne Coulter (far right conservative) has publicly stated that she would back Hillary against John McCain. And, conservative commentator Mary Matalin pretty much said the same thing on Meet the Press. And, if these two conservative Republican women, who have bashed the Clintons in the past, would back Hillary, then I suspect others would, too. However, they DID NOT say the same thing about backing Obama. I think Republican men would vote against Hillary, but Republican woman, I’m not so sure. The lure of the first woman president is just as strong for some women as the lure of the first black president is for liberals and African Americans.
As much as Obama thinks he can get Republican voters, and as much as his supporters think he can, he’s much too liberal, even for me. He’s a great speech maker, yes, and inspiring…but, he’s as liberal as they come, which I guess is why the Hollywood types all love him.
Usually the presidential nominee chooses his closest rival for the vice presidency, so the ‘dream team’ does make sense.
In reality, however, it would be a stretch to put a black and a woman on the same ticket–that may be too much change at once for people to handle.
Go Hillary!
Obama stands a better chance running alone. Ugh.
I hope this happens. I think Hillary would make the stronger president but Barack was make a great Vice!
I prefer Edwards and voted for him today too.
I think Clinton/Edwards is the ticket!
Please everyone, if your state is voting in the Primaries today…
PLEASE VOTE!!!!!! I don’t care who you vote for (~whisper~ Hillary), but I want to hear that everyone who could vote, did vote.
This is America and it is your duty as citizens to help chose our leaders. When you don’t do anything, you get Bush Crime Administrations…and that’s bad.
PLEASE VOTE!!!! AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS/FAMILY TO VOTE TOO!
Thank you.
I’m not Americain but European so of course can’t participate in the election. But if I could, I would support Obama 100%!!
I wish to see Barack Obama carrying on his way.I have been it for several months and this man is really somebody. He crowned one personality, he seems to be an amazing person very genuine and inspiring.
Hilary, there is not great a deal to say. The couple proved reliable, in particular in international relations.
At all events, if the White House is still directed by a republican
I will not understand you, YOU the US’s voter.
So for me…obama is the man of the situation!
He can do much for the advancement and repair of the US’s reputation on the world stage.
Good luck to you OBAMA!!! ;)
If Obama wins- then he would pick Hillary but if Hillary wins she would pick John Edwards and her excuse would be “he has more experience campaigning for presidency.”
Both Obama and Billary will make an awsome team but Hillary has turned into some kind of manic-caniving(spelling?) cow, playing the race card against Obama. She was the first to fight dirty when she should have kept that to fight against the republicans.
OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT.
Voted for Obama. Preferred Edwards over Clinton. I’ve actually grown to dislike Clinton a bit during these entire primary season
No, I hope he has better sense.
WORD on the street in NYC they have the list set up in such a way that it’s almost rigged for Hillary. Scandalous.
I used to have some kind of respect for Bill and Hilary. However, after the stunts that they both have pulled in the last few weeks (i.e.: crying, attacking Barack, etc.) that respect has diminished completely. If you are in a Super Tuesday State and able to vote. I urge you to vote Obama ‘08.
PS. I live in New York (Hilary’s home state) and still am voting for Obama.
Yes, Clinton-Obama will be great. That would give Obama the necessary experience in D.C. to run for president next time around. He is great in many ways but very green on foreign affairs, etc.
No, I don’t agree with Obama sharing the ticket with Hillary. She is running a dirty campaign, and has been smearing Obama from the start.
OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA
OBAMA ALL THE WAY!
Tired of the Clinton drama. Will these carpet baggers just fade in the sunset? We don’t need ******** Bill and Shrillary running the country into the ground anymore. I hope Obama kicks her fat ass out of the picture once and for all.
I like both. but I owrry that if Clinton does not get this chance another 50 years would proceed without a woman president in this country. Whereas if Obama becomes VP or run again in 2012 he would be even stronger. Hillary would be too old by then and no other strong woman seems to be in site.
I urge you women voters to vote for Hillary for all our sake.
OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT.
He comes FRESH and UNTAINTED in politics and is the ONLY possibility to bring back some credibilty to the USA on the international front.
It seems like Obama is equaly adept at smearing and dirty campaigning. He did his fair bit of unfair damage to Clinton. I guess nobody remains untouched by power hunger.
I think it’s a great idea.

doesn’t like gimmicks or dirty tricks. can somebody tell colleen powell to run, i trust him as president overall coz i believe he will do justice fairly, a man of integrity.
Clinton-Edwards all the way!!!!
Neither will put the other one up for VP. No love lost between the two-and that goes both ways. Obama is not the inocent he tries to appear.
Yes,Edwards would make a great VP and I hope who ever wins put him at the top of their list.

HILLARY IS THE ONE WHO WAS ON A SMEAR CAMPAIGN, OBAMA HAD TO DEFEND HIMSELF.
THAT OLD BOTOXED HAG HILLARY, SMEARED EDWARDS TOO.
OBAMA 2008
There’s no way that would happen. There was an article on CNN just yesterday giving ten good reasons why that would never happen.
Hillary even had her old womanizing husband smearing Obama.

Edwards is a jerk!
Hillary is a crybaby, she has cried three times in public to get sympathy votes. Who wants a weak president that cries to get votes.
Hell No!!!!!
Hillary Clintion is a Bush in sheep’s clothing. No wonder she has all the Republican support. They know she’ll further the Bush agenda, the same way her husband did when he was in office.
Bill Clinton successfully passed NAFTA something the older Bush failed to do that along with other legislation has strengthened the relationship between the two families. Hillary Clinton is f*ucking hypocrite. How in the hell is she going to talk immigration reform and jobs when her husband enacted a bill that resulted in a flood of illegal immigrants in to the US because they were forced off of their homes due to NAFTA which bankrupted many of their farms. During the Clinton/Obama debates there was an Anti-NAFTA protest in Mexico because of this.
She’s a hypocrite and a liar and I would be thoroughly disappointed if Obama became part or if she became part of his campaign.
Down with the Clintons!!!!. Obama/Edwards 2008.
What is Rosie O’Donnell, 12? Wait. Asked and answered.
Twelve also appears to be the approximate intellectual/ emotional age of the mainstream news folks (I’m talking to you, ABC News) and self-styled ‘intelligentsia’ who’ve been rooting for a Clinton/Obama “dream ticket”.
What next? “Hillary and Barack: Twu wuv 4evah”? Grow up, come down from your ivory towers, and live in the real world.
YES!!! I believe that if they didn’t hope for that possibility, they wouldn’t be so respectful towards each other. Usually if they have someone else in mind, they bash each other constantly. Don’t get me wrong, they do take shots at each other…but they do it in such a mature, respectable way. So yes…I’m hoping for a Clinton-Obama team.
#21 lily
I’m in NYC and there is nothing like that going on out here.
That’s alot of BS and hype.
Actually I see nothing but Obama groupies out there hitting the pavement. Hillary supporters are too cool for that.
And this is NYC, she doesn’t need to cheat here.
Maybe Obama needs to worry about Illinois…he may not win his state as strongly as people think.
I think for the next 4-8 years, it should be Hilary-Obama. She has the experience to be President, that he lacks. At the end of her term, Obama can run with a new VP candidate.
They should pick both. Wouldn’t that be nice, two presidents, 1 woman,1 man?!
I want Hillary to win, its about time we see a woman in power!!!!!!!!!!!
USA would make history!
who the F*&K cares what rosie thinks? She does not open her mind to anything. She is a liberal. She will spend your money for you.
Obama is good at smearing. He is a brainy guy, he knows how to smear the other by pretending that he is defending himself. He is a great orator though. but countries like ours cannot be run by oratory alone. You need cunning of a fox. And both Clinton and Obama have the cunning.
What is wrong with crying? Who says crying means weakness? Crying in public shows more courage than macho. Women are more in tune with their emotions and only
I was for Edwards, and would’ve voted for him if he hadn’t dropped out. :(
Neither Hillary nor Obama would really benefit that much from having the other as a VP. Either one of them needs a more white bread dude (John Edwards, I’m talking about you). Plus, both Obama & Hillary have stolen much of Edwards’ platform anyway. May as well drag him along for a little bit of the glory.
Also, I don’t feel so great about having only two families in the White House (Reagan notwithstanding) during my lifetime. It just seems gross and wrong.
Obama ‘08!
Who cares what rosie o’donnel thinks about anything? Leave her out of it. I think people think way too much about what she thinks about anything. What makes her such an authority?
Both their egos are way to big to be eachother’s vice. There would be major personality clashes. And I don’t think Obama likes Bill Clinton anymore. So there would be tension there. Obama knows that if you get Hill you get Bill and methinks Obama would be keen for that.
I am not American but one thing that does disturb me is Obama not putting his hand over his heart for the American national anthem. Very un-American of him and I wonder why Americans (who are possibly the most patriotic bunch in the world) aren’t bothered by this?
abso-effin’-lutely! between the 3 of them, they might yet bring this place back to greatness
I do not agree with Rosie. Clinton has too much baggage. Obama wants change and something new, Clinton represents the old - Obama represents the new. It is like putting something old into something new and the whole batch goes bad. It is my belief that Clinton’s time has come and gone.
Obama/Clinton would be amazing.
Please no Billary! The last 20 years have been Bush and Clintons. I need Change! I cannot have another 4 but probably 8 - that will be my entire adult life. Clintons are not truthful individuals. They have no problem looking into a camera straight on and lying. (I did not inhale! I did not have sexual relations with that woman! I did not get impeached!) You don’t marry someone that bold face lies, stand behind them and not be dishonest yourself. I do not tolerate that behavior in my children or friends. Why would I want that in the White House representing me and our nation. That is not how politics should be!
I think Hilary has the necessary expierence and perfect track record to pull America off its knees. Just look at what a great job she did when she was running the country from 1993 - 2001.
Yes, absolutely they should run together. That has been my dream scenario for many months.
Clinton for President and Obama for VP - perfect.
She’s got all the experience that he has not, and he would gain the experience required to take the next period.
Clinton will need Obama if she wins the nom. Obama will not need her. If she wins, she will choose him.
It is her only chance at winning against a Republican candidate.
No. Obama should pick his own running mate. It’s time for Hillary to sit down. America is not governed by a Monarchy; sick and tired of the Clinton/ Bush revolving door.
Obama ‘08 all the way!!!.
IF EITHER CANDIDATE TRULY HAD THE BEST INTEREST OF THE COUNTRY AND THE POLITICAL PARTY AT HEART THEN THERE WOULD BE NO DISCUSSION, THEY WOULD RUN TOGETHER.
THIS RACE REALLY SHOULD BE ABOUT WHO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WANTS TO RUN AS PRESIDENT. THE RUNNER UP SHOULD BE THE VICE PRESIDENT CANDIDATE.
THERE IS NO WAY THE REPUBLICANS WOULD BEAT A CLINTON/OBAMA TICKET OR OBAMA/CLINTON TICKET. TOGETHER THEY ARE UNBEATABLE.
I support Rosie. I do not care who is on top. I do care that a woman is finally recognized and voted in. Regardless of who is the vice president, Obama or Clinton, they will have the opportunity to change US history. NW
I would like to see 16 years of progressive politics in the u.s.a. and clinton obama running together with the vice president running for president after two terms would give progressive politics the best chance of showing results. Improving the lives of americians will not happen overnight and a good campaign theme would be “We are in it for the long run” and in the long run americia can benefit.
i think it would be awesome, i had a hard time picking who to vote for, ended up voting for clinton, but i think they were both dirty in the beginning, just hillary got more negative press and i don’t think showing emotions is a crime we are all human in the end. i don’t much care for obama’s wife and i think bill for all his crap did a good job as prez. they both want the same thing idoes’nt matter about race just matters what is best for the usa.
obama-clinton all the way
