OlderClinton-Obama: That’s the Ticket!
Rosie O’Donnell likes both candidates (Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama) equally and even wants them to run together! She writes:
“It’s still early yet, but so far I find both candidates believable. They are different, with a different mix of talents to bring to the political table, but they both seem to have the passion, plans, drive, and intelligence I want in my next president.
“Could a Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket be our future? I hope so. I think America would benefit from the strengths of either individual, but if those strengths were combined, we might just have the Democratic powerhouse the country needs to turn itself around, and back into peace, prosperity and opportunity.
“May they both release the desire to receive for oneself alone — and save the world together.”

I like both. but I owrry that if Clinton does not get this chance another 50 years would proceed without a woman president in this country. Whereas if Obama becomes VP or run again in 2012 he would be even stronger. Hillary would be too old by then and no other strong woman seems to be in site.
I urge you women voters to vote for Hillary for all our sake.

He comes FRESH and UNTAINTED in politics and is the ONLY possibility to bring back some credibilty to the USA on the international front.
It seems like Obama is equaly adept at smearing and dirty campaigning. He did his fair bit of unfair damage to Clinton. I guess nobody remains untouched by power hunger.

i vote for colleen powell for president! the only black person , i admired and respected! …….the man with integrity and worthy of becoming the first black president. he is straighforward doesn’t gimmicks or dirty like the traditional politicians to gain votes. a very decent man …..and the thing is i am not even BLACK but i like him so much to be president and would prefer over all these politicians.

Bill Clinton successfully passed NAFTA something the older Bush failed to do that along with other legislation has strengthened the relationship between the two families. Hillary Clinton is f*ucking hypocrite. How in the hell is she going to talk immigration reform and jobs when her husband enacted a bill that resulted in a flood of illegal immigrants in to the US because they were forced off of their homes due to NAFTA which bankrupted many of their farms. During the Clinton/Obama debates there was an Anti-NAFTA protest in Mexico because of this.
She’s a hypocrite and a liar and I would be thoroughly disappointed if Obama became part or if she became part of his campaign.

Twelve also appears to be the approximate intellectual/ emotional age of the mainstream news folks (I’m talking to you, ABC News) and self-styled ‘intelligentsia’ who’ve been rooting for a Clinton/Obama “dream ticket”.
What next? “Hillary and Barack: Twu wuv 4evah”? Grow up, come down from your ivory towers, and live in the real world.
YES!!! I believe that if they didn’t hope for that possibility, they wouldn’t be so respectful towards each other. Usually if they have someone else in mind, they bash each other constantly. Don’t get me wrong, they do take shots at each other…but they do it in such a mature, respectable way. So yes…I’m hoping for a Clinton-Obama team.

Actually I see nothing but Obama groupies out there hitting the pavement. Hillary supporters are too cool for that.
And this is NYC, she doesn’t need to cheat here.
Maybe Obama needs to worry about Illinois…he may not win his state as strongly as people think.
I think for the next 4-8 years, it should be Hilary-Obama. She has the experience to be President, that he lacks. At the end of her term, Obama can run with a new VP candidate.

Obama is good at smearing. He is a brainy guy, he knows how to smear the other by pretending that he is defending himself. He is a great orator though. but countries like ours cannot be run by oratory alone. You need cunning of a fox. And both Clinton and Obama have the cunning.

Neither Hillary nor Obama would really benefit that much from having the other as a VP. Either one of them needs a more white bread dude (John Edwards, I’m talking about you). Plus, both Obama & Hillary have stolen much of Edwards’ platform anyway. May as well drag him along for a little bit of the glory.
Also, I don’t feel so great about having only two families in the White House (Reagan notwithstanding) during my lifetime. It just seems gross and wrong.
