Ellen Pompeo and music exec husband Chris Ivery enjoy dinner at Butter in New York City on Monday night.
Earlier in the evening, the cute couple watched the game between the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks lost, 103-94.

I like EP I really do, but I’m at the point where I”ll be glad when Fashion Week is over because I”m getting awfully tired seeing her every day with two or more picture threads. At this point it feels like she holds the record of most picture threads out of all of the GA girls…..

You definitely got to certain events in NYC to be noticed. I don’t mind if a celeb is honored or personally invited to attend the event, but this is overkill. I really do like EP, but she is not what some peeps claim she is. She is IMO like any other celeb who likes the limelight, and honestly there is nothing wrong with that. That’s why you are in the business of tv and movies to be noticed and to make a whole lot of money. She’s definitely not shy or “private”. If she was she wouldn’t attend these events…..
I don’t see that she is going out of her way to get photographed. She is attending things that interest herself and her husband.
If she has more time to be out and about it is because of this prolonged writer’s strike so why shouldn’t she enjoy her downtime doing things she likes

its not like she stops and has entire convos with the paparazzi. 90% of the time she walks right by them. I think she looks great !

I don’t necessarily know if it would make a difference to me but it might help if she actually was really famous. I can’t stand the same people trotting into the limelight over and over again. Doesn’t always matter who it is but it’s annoying x100 when it’s some random. I’d much rather see a talented actor flaunt themselves because at least we know they mostly earned it by being awesome. Denzel Washington comes to mind. Let’s see more of him and less of this twig.

a/ KW is helping Obama: So she uses her image, she travels in the usa, she is seen by people, therefore, in some way she made her publicity even if it’s for a political cause!
b/ KH is in Europe to promote: So she makes her promo to!
We sse or hear about EP, KW or KH, they are actresses, they have fans so it’s normal that they are in the media.
And in 4 years of GA it’s the first to you can say that EP had been this is the first time we see Ellen so much, she works so much that habitually we rarely saw her.
The only reason JJ is posting ellen’s pics this much is becos they make more money when the comments keeps coming and ellen always make pple react whether negative/positive comments.

#55, I’m starting to hate celebs in general at this point. Many of them seem caught up in a twisted obsession with media attention. It’s about to be Britney’s undoing (if it isn’t already). You can tell the attention craved ones from the rest. This GA chick is on the town constantly and anybody that doesn’t want that attention knows how to avoid it. Look at how many really popular celebrities are able to avoid the press. Heath Ledger was doing a great job avoiding it completely until he passed away. Living a normal life is a reachable goal in hollywood– but it amazes me how many of them actually enjoy being the center of attention or the headline in US Weekly. That’s why it’s so irritating.
GA is not popular because it’s good. It’s popular for the same reason “Guiding Light” is popular. Mindless nonsense sells. Unfortunately.
My philosophy usually maintains that the overhyped shows tend to be the least substantial. Americal Idol and Dancing w/ the stars generally lead the way in the ratings and it’s mindless nonsense television (MNT) haha.

because whatever you do Grey’s is till the top tv show in the world by the way. found that out recently. was pleased to tell you the truth. 22 million in the US and according to what this survey says around 100 million worldwide watch the show. thats a big wow.
Personally as a grey fan and specially an Ellen fan. I am pleased to see her out and about during this hiatus because in four years she never did have the time to do the things she likes, like attend fashion weeks in paris and new york and all the other stuff.

Hey everyone, so today was the second day of the advertising job, the clothes and the look was a lot less glamorous and more chic today, I am getting Ellen Pompeo ready for the Michael Kors fashion show tomorrow and then ready for a big Gucci dinner event hosted by Madonna in the evening, so I get to spend another day with my new bff-lol. anyway posted an outtake from todays shoot! xxxo harry

and what great news about tomorrow. It’s really nice for Ellen to be able to be in the same room as the person she looked up to for the most difficult thing in her life. Ellen was 4 when her mother died, and her family was very secretive and didn’t talk about her mother ever again. they didn’t discuss loosing her and so forth thats what hurt Ellen most because she was too young to remember anything about her mother. then from Madonna she got some kind of closure. how amazing is it ging to be for her tomorrow.. goose bump event.. :)
