Robert Downey Jr. is the Soloist

BLOODY HELL

Peep these first shots of Robert Downey Jr. looking like a bloody mess on the set of The Soloist, which is currently shooting in Los Angeles.

The Soloist is a drama about a schizophrenic, homeless musician from Skid Row, Los Angeles who has dreams of playing at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

The film, directed by Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice), is set for release later this year. Jamie Foxx and Catherine Keener also star.

Here’s an actor I admire so much. A great talent who pulled himself up out of drug craziness after many failed attempts. He is living proof that no matter how many times a person fails, there is still hope. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to basically be intelligent and very talented. Hollywood never gave up on him and his great talent. I love him

Nope, in the 90s he got busted and went to prison more than once before he got himself clean and sober. The last time he was released was in 2000. No busts since then and been in a ton of movies in that time.
