Angelina Jolie is a Helmet Head

Angelina Jolie arrives by plane and makes her way into the Green Zone in Baghdad, Iraq on Thursday.

The U.N. Goodwill Ambassador had lunch with American soldiers and voiced her opinion and listened to the ideas of others in day-long meetings. Jolie appealed on Thursday for more international help for the millions of Iraqis displaced internally and abroad, U.N. officials said.

I had assumed this was a trip for UNHCR, but People quotes Trevor Neilson as saying it was on behalf of the State Department. Just reminds you how well respected Angie is amongst those who deal with foreign affairs.

Okay…I disappear for a couple of days and Angie winds up in Iraq! I’m ROTFLMAO at poor old PageSix - thwarted by the Jolie-Pitts again!

BTW…I hope the Porgster watched Angie’s CNN interview and discovered how simple it is to be concerned and supportive of everyone involved without thrusting his political views in everyone’s face by wearing an Obama bracelet!

does angelina ever relax? I would love to see her on the beach just chilling..reading a book or something. I love what she does..she very considerate and giving…I just wonder if she just can sit still …i guess she sometimes can relax with the kids..in a way lol with 4 kids i guess u can have some downtime

Shoutout to PT . I have been mia myself the last couple of days. Angie is an amazing woman. This is why she is who she is and why brad loves her. Haters can hate all they want it’s never going to change.

You missed all the actions in the last few threads. Better yet I should say I miss your verbal (blogging) repartee. A little humor is good.

Gosh…days like this it makes it so hard for me to go to work. I just want to stay glued to the computer. Lucky I have very cool bosses who don’t mind I get in late. But, I guess I better get my butt in gear. :lol:

NTV ( Turkish news tv channel) showed her in Iraq. She was enjoying her meal. She looked so beautiful and serious.
