She is incredible! Sultry star and award winning actress, model,devoted earth mother of four, activist, humanitarian,pilot and, among other things, loving wife.

She is helping children of this conflict. She was at the Clinton Global seminar a few months back addressing this very thing and she has partnered up with unicef about getting education for children of conflicts which she herself donated to. Just do the research and you will see for yourself.

She is an inspiration & you know how this visit to the troops mean? A lot & it just shows how she is as a person & how Ange accomplished a lot & she is not doing it for personal gain it’s her passion & love for the people of war torn countries. I agree with some of you, she is a lot better than those others in HW who prefer to sit down & be glamorous at all time & doing nothing to help others. I wish I can do what she does, she is using her popularity in a nice way, she is making a lot of difference to a lot of people. Go Ange. God bless you always & to our troops in Iraq & Afghanistan be safe & we are proud of you. I’m sure Brad is proud of you & your kids too.

What is this jackass trying to achieve by putting ‘ums’ into a transcript of a news interview. I interviewed hundreds of individuals for both news and feature articles and you only put those in feature articles for colour and semantics. The editor ought to know better. Leave the ‘ums’ out of this kind of news article, they only distract and detract from the essence of what is being conveyed.

Ha!, is an example of one more ignorant person who refuses to educate herself when resources are available to her (yeah you dumb b*tch, you know you’re going to “get attacked” as you say because you KNOW you’re talking out of your azz and that you haven’t even bothered to do any homework) - anyone w/ a google connection can read of Angelina’s accomplishments…they are concrete and they are working - whether it’s her unaccompanied minors bill that was signed and passed, her millenium villages project w/ dr jeffrey sachs that she funded, that has actually improved living conditions in Africa, her southeast asian/cambodian foundation that she funded that distributes AIDS drugs, (this is just the tip of the iceberg because I don’t have all day)…lastly, no one doubts her influence in terms of inspiring not just her peers in Hollywood (forget kaballah..I’d say Madge gets inspired by Angelina, ditto Clooney, and Brad has already admitted it..and here these are people DECADES and going on 20 years older than herself. ) Her own generation and the younger crowd mention her inspiration and influence regularly…so, even IF Angelina did nothing else in humanitarian causes ever, her influence on other people worldwide…inspiring them to step up to the plate as well, is and has been astounding and the stuff of legend. Face it you troll, she stands alone…Angelina, moreso than anyone else I can think of empowers the spirit of ‘one’..she is not a corporation like Oprah, she doesn’t go begging Gucci like Madge, or enlisting corporations and moguls like Bono…she reaches into her OWN pocket regularly, most of all the sheer strength and will of her own singular desire to learn, and make the world better is almost legendary at this point because of her OWN generosity, grit, intelligence and compassion she has no peer - no one is as inspiring….and they certainly have not accomplished what she has and all under her own steam.

That said if AJ is returning Thurs night, that means she’s out aready,back in the UK! :-D

Bailey, it’s not “my” mind set, it’s what I read every time there is a different update on the latest trip abroad. Instead of hearing that she’s working with the UN and “x (meaning an actual result)” has occurred, it’s “I’m visiting _______, the conditions are horrendous, there seems to be a lot of talk but no action.” Isn’t her job to inspire action? Why isn’t that happening. What I’m saying is that I think more highly if something actually got better as a result. In the meantime, it’s a lot of PR trips to put a famous face on a cause.
