OlderAngelina Jolie in Iraq (Not Jordan)
Angelina Jolie is serving in Iraq, not Jordan as previously reported.
As goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, the 32-year-old do-gooder was on a mission to highlight the plight of Iraqi refugees in Baghdad on Thursday.
Jolie is promoting action to help the two million people displaced by Iraq’s war.
“There’s lots of goodwill and lots of discussion, but there seems to be just a lot of talk at the moment,” Jolie told CNN in an exclusive interview. “What happens in Iraq and how Iraq settles in the years to come is going to affect the entire Middle East. And a big part of what it’s going to affect, how it settles, is how these people are returned and settled into their homes and their community and brought back together and whether they can live together and what their communities look like.”
Angie was also seen boosting the spirits of American troops, dropping by their dining facility for lunch in the heavily guarded Green Zone, which houses the embassy and Iraqi government offices in central Baghdad.

Okay, seriously…all jokes aside, what or who made you this way? I honestly…want to know what events in your life made you this…this hateful person you are. I’m reading your post and instead getting pissed off at your blatant show of ignorance mixed with hate; l can’t help but feel sorry for you. I mean it must have been really bad, what you went through and of course not having someone like AJ to take up your cause probably made it worse (it also explains why you want you wanna rubbish her hard work…but we won’t talk about that now. Ha think again Jolie just got there and you already want the refugee problem solve in one day what are you NUTS??? if the UN can’t solve it in what almost 5 years?? and you want Angelina to solve it in a blink of an eye ??? What do you think she is a magician. One of the reason why there are millions of refugees world wide it’s because there are lots of cynical people like YOU WHO just criticize people who help but doing nothing at all. Fans please don’t respond to the haters. There are so many good things happening for Brad and Angie. Brad and his makeitright NOLA project, and Angie and her humanitarian efforts. To suggest that Brad is jealous of Angie Or Angie is playing cloy about being pregnant to bring attention to herself or Brad’s project is so ridiculous it is beyond pathic. I was watching Fox and Friends this morning. I know. I channel surf the news in the morning. The showed a clip of her talking to the soldiers and they were very positive about her visit. For real no snark from Fox and Friends. It is sad how people hate on this family. If they were shopping everyday people would love them. But no they are trying to help and are hated. It is so sad. But that is the culture we live in. Worship the shallow, and suspect and hate those who rise above it.
What amazed me watching the video was she look a little tired when she first started talking. But as she progressed in her interview she grew radiant. Her skin is beautiful and glowing. I just loved when the interviewer asked her why was she there? Without missing a beat, Angie asked “Why are you here?” Don’t try to make it seem as if her visit was some how not important. Don’t try to demean her efforts. You have to admire both of them. And if you don’t something is wrong with you. Peace

Nah dear…we’re not acting like you killed our mothers, we just don’t like ignorance displayed so unashamedly especially in this day and age where all you have to do is turn on the computer. Why…my dear grandmama in the small 3rd world African country she lives (with very limited access to the web) still does a little research before saying anything… so you see, you have no excuse whatsoever.
Now about helping you with your childhood issues….
God - I hope she did not go over there pregnant!! She would be putting more then her own life in danger. There is a reason they check female soldiers for that before they go over. It is a shame that the other people who have done work for the refugees done get any public thanks.

Angie made the local news this morning, they were talking about her trip and activities there, and referred to her by her title, U.N. ambassador for refugees. I love it! She was also mentioned on GMA.
Angie, you’re an AMAZING woman! No wonder Brad is so proud of you.
Lastly, I agree with laura and sharon that Angie looks pregnant in the Reuters video. From the side view when she’s getting her food, you can see her bump.

London, Feb 7 : Celebrity super couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie helped Seth Mascareno, an eight-year-old boy who was being crushed by autograph hunters at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
Seth was trapped under a crowd greeting the couple as they arrived at the festival, contactmusic.com reports. Jolie was being honoured with the Performance of the Year award. The couple saw the kid in trouble and lifted him to safety.
The boy’s mother said: “The crush of people was just overwhelming. Jolie and Pitt rushed over and she helped pull Seth under the barricade while Pitt yelled for the crowd to back up.
“Then Jolie took Seth aside to make sure he was unharmed. When she was sure he was all right, she signed a ‘Tomb Raider’ photo he was carrying. She stroked Seth’s hair and said: ‘There, there sweetheart, you’re okay now’.”

Before I leave for a moment I have to say that reading your current posts right now is why I’m very proud to be one of Angelina’s countless fans. She has done so much at such a young age.
I’ve seen and listened to a lot of Obama supporters, and as much as they are passionate about him as a candidate, when asked about any of his policies, they blank out.
In here, if one fan asks about Angelina’s accomplishments in philanthropy, you will get at least 20 examples and they still would only reveal the tip of that iceberg.
I can only look forward to what this formidable woman will do next.

Angelina Jolie travelled to Iraq this week, risking her life to fight for the rights of displaced refugees. As you can see, she looks bunk. Super tired, super weary, battling through pregnancy sickness while trying saving the world.
The most beautiful woman, arguably, in Hollywood during an interview with CNN waved off the makeup artist, appearing on international television – and you know this will get aired everywhere – to urge the global community to do what’s right by victims of war.
How many other celebrities would do the same?
She also took time to lunch with the troops and looked much more like herself – fresh faced, smiling wide, digging into canteen food, and actually eating on camera!
As for that pressing issue – is the Second Coming on its way? The journalist went there, as we all wanted her to. Angelina expressed disappointed that even CNN would need to know the status of her womb and when the reporter replied that she had to, Angelina politely but graciously answered back that she didn’t have to answer, not wanting perhaps to have her humanitarian efforts overshadowed by any confirmation or denial. And of course at the same time masterfully keeping us all in suspense.
