OlderAngelina Jolie Mingles With the Troops
Angelina Jolie waves and smiles during a visit to a US military base in the heavily guarded Green Zone in central Baghdad, where she visited the canteen for lunch and mingled with troops.
Angie was in the Iraqi capital on Thursday, in her role as a United Nations good will ambassador, on a mission to highlight the plight of Iraqi refugees.

And if you missed the CNN interview, Angie was almost asked about her pregnancy:
CNN: There are reports out of Hollywood that… (laughs)
Jolie: Oh don’t. Stop it. (interrupts I had to ask) Stay true to your tradition. You’re CNN. Don’t do it!
CNN: I know that’s why I have to… (laughs)
Jolie: But I don’t have to answer. OK?
CNN: No you don’t. I completely and totally … you’re right and will not press the matter.
Jolie: Thank you.

Angie’s walking over to get her tray. From the front or sitting down, you can’t really tell she’s pregnant, plus there are people and things in front of her. When she’s getting her tray, the camera shows her from the side, and there’s a moment when there’s nothing in front of her and the camera is pretty close. She’s leaning forward just a bit against her tray and you can absolutely see how round her belly is. She’s pregnant.
She’s wearing her trenchcoat and all black again, in the video.

I don’t understand how some people can’t see how sincere Angie is and how she is genuinely concerned. She’s not flying all the way to Iraq, baisically risking her life, for publicity. She’s doing it because she cares and because she wants to help. How some people can think she’s a famewh*re, I’ll just never understand.

I’ve never known Angie to wear a coat all the time on her trips..especially indoors.
She is def. pregnant but now is not the time to announce it. It would overshadow the purpose for her trip. You know that is all the press would be talking about if she announced it..all the attention would be on that and not the refugees.
Angel, for goodness sake, —see AnIntelligentMind’s post—-why can’t you stop with the rude namecalling and being ‘bated’ again and again by those that don’t like Angie because they simply don’t want to like her. They are INVESTED in hating her. To re-evaluate her based on who she is today would not jive with their need to have been right about her.
It takes a big person to change a strong original viewpoint—hence the intensity and destructiveness to the greater good of partisan politics.
You know Angie has evolved into the real deal as do I —as do sooo many of us truefans. Don’t fall into the trap of having to demean yourself by namecalling. Defend Ange with an articulate response–(cj: good on you!

miranda, the truth of the matter is that if you can find a negative in angelina spotlighting and helping and being interested in making this a better world then you are a very sad individual. your life must be very negative. you should try to remedy that.

Oh thanks! I did miss it. The only time I saw her bald was in the People article she did a while back, and I thought she was so beautiful. But I know she was uncomfortable at the thought of not wearing a wig on the air, she talked about it. So the fact that she did it this morning live on the air, and looking so confident, I completely lost it, lol. She completely reclaimed her power. I love her (and Diane, another strong woman). These two and Angie are three women I’m proud to be a fan of.

I think the only reason AJ and Brad have not announced it is probably because she had this trip on her agenda…and didn’t want to attract undue attention. Especially going into a war zone.
That said…look hater fools, Angie does not lie…if she was NOT preg she would have said so, just like she’s done several times before. Where do pregnant Iraqi women go to? Surely they don’t stay in the country…I mean I bet the moment the pregnancy test comes out positive, they are immediately shipped somewhere else…no? I’m just asking because I’m trying to understand where the hoopla over AJ being pregnant and going to Iraq is coming from. As we speak… AJ, who is visiting for 3-4days is 100 times safe than the Iraqi women who live there.
If AJ is indeed pregnant on this trip…then I say bravo to her. Apart from the fact that it shows she’s not your average lazy bones pregnant woman, she’s also showing that when you genuinely want to help others, you don’t do it only when it’s convenient for you. When there’s a call to arms to help someone in bad situation, you heed that call. (Okay, that came off a little Brave-hearty, no? Ah, who cares…AJ is a brave heart or is it has a brave heart? Hmm)
