Victoria Beckham Fashion Line in the Works?

Victoria Beckham goes shopping on the Upper East Side in New York City on Wednesday, just hours before her concert at Nassau Coliseum with the Spice Girls.

Posh picked up items from the Tom Ford and Donna Karan stores on Madison Avenue.

The Daily News is reporting that Victoria is itching to start her own Beckham fashion line. They question why she chose to star in those funny Marc Jacobs ads:

“But it’s easy to overlook what might be Victoria’s ulterior motive for starring in the campaign. According to British newspapers, her fashionista leanings are the true reason behind the girl group’s abruptly abandoning the last leg of its tour. After dabbling with jeans and eyewear, Beckham has apparently decided to become a full-time designer and is itching to start on a collection. Maybe she’ll ask Jacobs to pose in her first campaign.”
