Jennifer Aniston shoots more scenes for her upcoming drama, Traveling, which is still shooting in Vancouver, BC.
On hand was Aniston’s love interest in the movie, costar Aaron Eckhart. Aniston, 38, and Eckhart, 39, seemed to have great chemistry on and off the set–laughing and joking in-between takes.
Synopsis: A romantic drama about a widower (Eckhart) whose book about coping with loss turns him into a best-selling self-help guru. On a business trip to Seattle, he falls for a woman (Aniston) who attends one of his seminars, only to learn that he hasn’t yet truly confronted his wife’s passing.

As a Vancouverite I’m very disappointed that they are using Vancouver as a backdrop for Seattle - why not just say they’re in Vancouver? That’s Gastown they’re filming in - a very beautiful and historic part of Vancouver. The restaurant in some of the photos is the Water Street Cafe and has great food!

Of Rumour Has It, Webb said: ‘They haven’t approached me and I wouldn’t expect them to. They’re involved in their own difficulties.’ By that he meant the controversy involving his acquaintance Ted Griffin, who was the film’s writer and director for all of eight days before being dumped by Warner Brothers, allegedly at Aniston’s behest. Griffin, a friend of George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh, had persuaded their production company, Section Eight, to fund the £21 million project and give him his directorial debut.
Filming began last summer, but Griffin is said to have clashed with one of the film’s stars, Kevin Costner, and the cinematographer, whom he fired. Clooney and Soderbergh reportedly advised pulling the plug, but studio executives preferred to keep it afloat by axing Griffin and installing Reiner as director. Several cast members also left and the film has since been plagued by gossip and backbiting, as well as a spiralling budget. Its release has now been put back from April to December. Last week both Griffin and Warner Brothers declined to comment.

Aniston is thankful there was strike. Most of the stars that studios go to for their rom-coms had their work lined up and scheduling conflicts due to the impending strike and possible an actors strike in June, that only work trickles down to her. One things the WGA did benefits actors/actresses in the lower tiers.

I do say that for a woman of her age, she is very WELL PRESERVED. But using a word “cute” to describe women of this age starts to sound as if you are being kind to an elderly. Really, the ‘hair’, the ‘body’ al is good. Afterall when a person is valued and known only for her superficial exterior like Aniston, is there really any other option but to look good?
FYI -
1) Ted Griffin did not clash with Costner, because Costner wasn’t even filming yet when he was axed.
2) The firing of the cinematographer was a “passing on the buck” case because its easier to put the blame on a first time director/writer than the star of the film who at the time was married to a powerful star on the Warner’s lot. It was a “lighting issue” because the so called “star” didn’t like the lighting which showed her bad angles and flaws.
3) The star made such a ruckus in the film set that the A-list then husband had to intervene and soothe ruffled feathers and talk to his friends (who were the producers and Griffin) not to shut it down. Sadly, her tantrum caused a friendship for her then ex-husband with Griffin. Interestingly, Griffin and Clooney and Soderbergh are still friends.
Karma is a biitch!!! When you were such an ass to the small people, when you were still relevant by association. Then be careful when the person taking the brunt and paving the way for you is no longer around to pick up the pieces.

Unfortunately for Aniston, her personal life has, at least for now, eclipsed her films. There’s a perception out there that her movie career is somehow is trouble, when in fact she has made one terrible film (Rumor Has It) and one not-so-great but, I think, underrated thriller (Derailed). There’s not a single actor in Hollywood today who hasn’t made a couple of nonstarters nearly back-to-back (can you say The Stepford Wives followed by Bewitched?). When I ask her how she’s feeling about her film career these days, she says, without any defensiveness, “I feel like I’m doing OK. I’m happy with where it is. Derailed didn’t shine. It kind of… derailed. Thrillers are tough. I’m glad I did it, but I don’t need to do those kinds of movies. It’s kind of like caviar. I don’t need to have it again.”
When I bring up Rumor Has It, she looks at me with an exaggerated pained expression and says, “Oh, we don’t need to talk about that, do we? The worst experience of my life. The worst experience; the worst film. It sounded like a great idea, an interesting backdrop for a romantic comedy. But it was never fleshed out, never fully realized. And for me, personally, I was going through a horrible time. I wasn’t at my best as an actor. I was unmotivated by it.” She pauses for a second. “Oh, why talk about it? We can let that little train go by.”

I dont agree with you. Jen is NOT a strong and independent woman. As seen from the divorce, she acted she’s the only one who had gone thru this. Did she ever say she take accountability for the failure of her marriage? No !! Instead, she allowed her friends to do her dirty work, badmouthing her ex and their children as is seen in the VF interview.
Jen impressed me as needy. It seems she cant function without the whole support system around her. She herself said she always call her girlfriends even on the tiniest detail. Her hanging around the Arquette is a joke. I understand it’s good to have friends. But she is EXCESSIVE, to the point that David Arquette called her his 2nd wife. Look at Sheryl Crow who’s a single mom. Did you see her hanging around people like a 3rd wheeler?

The only thing I agree with you is Jen is rich. But when much is given, much is expected. I never seen her contribute a meaningful amount to charity. I know her fans have been defending her saying she did it quietly. Now, use common sense, anytime a celebrity donates, the non profit organization announced it to the press, because it’s like having a celebrity speaks for you to set an example.
Think Danzel Washington, he recently donated 1M to some speech team. Julia Roberts, Rosie both donated 1M to Katrina. Depp also donated 2M to some hospital. But NOTHING was ever mentioned for Jen, meaning she donated so LITTLE that it would be embarrassing to even mention it.. Another thing, Jen did give $2300 to Obama. It was all reported by the press. So dont tell me she did charity quietly.

Jennifer Aniston knows exactly what she wants. She wants fame, money, and a movie career. Yes, she did talk about wanting a baby. But having a baby is NEVER her 1st priority. I remember seeing her talking about (in similar words) “the next thing is Oscar” on the stage in one of her award ceremony. One of the major reasons for the failure of the marriage is the delay of starting a family. Brad has talked about wanting a family , not once, but many many times.
I also believe that the last 6 months of 2003 is their trial separation (although they did not announce it officially). We all know Jen was taping Friends while simultaneouly making the movie “Along came Polly” . To me, this is a really hectic schedule. As to Brad, that same year he spent 6 months outside of the country filming Troy. It looked like they purposely planned to stay away from each other.
Now, Jennifer has achieved what she wanted, (though not all). She got fame and money. As for her movie, time will tell. I personally dont think she will achieve the way she wants it to be. To me, in silver screen, you need to have a commanding presence. Jennifer Aniston just doesnt have that. I personally prefer seeing movies with Kate Hudson, Reese, Cameron Diaz, and Julia Roberts.
All her media appearances (Diane Sawyer, Oprah, Access Hollywood) of saying “a baby is on the way” is just a way to save her image. The fact that she was still smoking indicates she has NO intention of opening her womb. This is what baffles me. Why Not Tell The Truth or dont even bring up the subject? Even when the subject is brought up, she can just deflect it. She did it successfully on her relationship with Vince. But by repeatedly going to the media and lied about it make me question her character. . Her appearance at Oprah and saying that she and Vince were still on is another calculated move to sell movie tickets.

1) She has to learn that she should not FAKE a relationship to sell movie tickets. No man wants to be used.
2) She has to own responsibility. Just laying blame or using her friends to do her dirty work, (smearing Brad and Angie in VF interview) is UNCONSCIONABLE. She should take accountability that her lust for fame and her lust for a movie career helped contribute to the downfall of her marriage.
3) She should really move on and should NOT be vengeful. The whole hollywood knows that Aniston has the habit of going to people, Oprah to deny a boob job, a nose job, not dating a camera man, etc. If so, a real man who dates her will ask why she’s not doing anything to refute the rumor of Brad visit with Shiloh. Not doing so speaks volumes of her character. And NO real man wants a vindictive woman.
4) She should be honest. If she does not want to have children. She should disclose this upfront. She should NOT mislead a man if a man wants children. She should learn from her mistakes that she should not lie about a baby when she had NO INTENTION of doing so
Until she improves herself, she will remain SINGLE.

I must say her publicist does an excellent job of packaging up an empty canister and placing Jen like the bubbling champagne. I totaly agree with you that she doesn’t want children.I have never once seen a photo of her holding Coco or even talking to Coco for that matter from the numerous holidays that she goes on with the Arquettes. It’s as if Coco is locked away while she enjoys her holiday with Courteney.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with not wanting to have kids, I just think that she has never been honest and upfront about her intentions.
There are plenty of sucessful actresses that have said kids are not for them - Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz, Charlize Theron, Renee Zellweger. The difference with them is that they have been totally honest about it and we respect their decisions and opinions.

I am not a Jen fan. I never liked Friends even when it was #1 in the ratings. I would not pay a dime to watch a Jennifer Aniston movie. In fact you would have to pay me to sit through her lousy acting. Even the opportunity to stare at Clive Owen is not enough to make me watch Derailed. That being said, I do not think she is ugly. Physically, she is quiet presentable.
Her actions post divorce speaks to her character. She encouraged her friends to bash Brad while pretending to take the high road. The funniest part of the infamous VF article was the assertion that Brad never really wanted children while it was truly Jen’s priority. Even Jen’s most committed fans must shake their head when they read that.
I’m so disappointed that Aaron Eckhart agreed to work with her. I really like him and she’s not able to even get her fans to come to a movie!
Her only fans are uptight suburban women who are unfulfilled in their lives so they try to ridicule others who are living to the fullest. Aniston, who only plays it safe and talks behind people’s backs, unable to be direct, is mediocrity personified, so she is their favorite.

You seem to know what he’s like in person. If I know anything about human beings it’s that, you never know someone until you wake up in a house with them daily.
Brad may look good in pictures, but, what’s he like to live with. Is he a verbally abusive man, physically abusive, a straight out idiot, a primadonna?. Who knows. You and I certainly don’t know. Not even Brads parents and siblings know what kind of man he is with a woman he’s sexually involved with.
I’d ease of on the God status. All of these celebs have a public persona- a character they play in public. Privately, it’s a different story.

Yes she’s 40. At 40, if you’re secure and confident, and as mature as a 40 year old should be, you don’t suddenly change yourself. When a person in her age group suddenly changes everything about themselves it’s called an identity crisis. That is not a positive thing at 40 or older. Finding yourself, and constantly seeking an identity, is for teenagers- that’s what typifies “teen anxiety”.
The fact that Aniston didn’t die her hair red; cut it in a mohowk and begin dressing goth, post-divorce, is a testament to her maturity. Look at some of the celebs who post-breakup have gone from marraige to marraige; or from one plastic surgery procedure to another. That’s an emotionally immature person, who is not dealing with their issues and the condition of their lives.
Aniston is quite sure of who she is. I commend her for not trying to compete with her ex. I commend her for not trying to morph into a faux Angelina. So many women, after being hurt, destroy their bodies trying to look like their replacement.
Aniston is admired for her maturity. She didn’t go out and have a child to get back at her ex. Aniston has lived and continues to live the life she wants. Good for her.

Kudos to any woman who doesn’t want to be burdened by children. Raising children is a pain in the ass. Ask any parent, they’ll tell you-if they are honest with themselves.
Not every woman wants their lives to be ruled by a child. Let’s face it, even if you have a team of nannies, it’s the woman who makes the decisions about who takes care of her children and how they do it. You are still a 24/7 parent. Ahh, the peace of not having to constantly worry about another human beings’ growth, safety and development. to not be sleep deprived, to have many moments of peace to sit, walk, talk with whomever you want; whenever you want. No children. You can love them dearly, but, never ever want to spend your life being a parent to one.
There are millions of us in the world who are happily childless and there are millions of males just like us. I think men are less likely to bow to family pressure or societal pressure to reproduce. Aaron Eckhart is not a big deal, he is a B or even C lister and so is Jennifer. And have you noticed that when Jennifer was still with Brad, she was paired with A-listers, like Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller, Marck Walberg, and even her recent movies Derailed and Rumor has it, with Clive and Kevin Costner, were offered to her while she was still with Brad.

Actors , let me say great actors are known for taking RISKS IN THE PARTS they choose and when the role calls for it , they are well known for changing their appearance for roles. Actors are KNOWN for constantly changing and evolving for the roles they play.
Aniston may be a good actor, but she NEVER changes her look for the roles she plays, she ALWAYS looks the same. She never plays challenging roles. Maybe this will be different. In every role she plays she looks 100% the same, she looks like Rachel, and I think that is why people criticize her for the roles she plays. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Aniston cut her hair really short for a role? Shaving her head if the role called for it? That is what dedicated actors do. I like some of the parts she plays- I loved Bruce Almighty and Along came Polly, but you could put any other actress into that part and they would do fine. I think Aniston is one of those people who is a creature of habit, that is fine, but how does one grow in their craft or as a human being by always doing the same thing over and over again. I think Aniston is one of those people who worry about what people say or think about her on a personal and physical appearance. In every picture she looks like a person who is not comfortable , Is that why she always has too hide behind her HAIR, SCARF and bodyguards. I find her behavior at least in pics strange for someone who is almost 40 , she has no problem showing her ass for the paps, but she will turn around and hide her face? I can’t think of any other A-LIST actress that hides her face or does not change look from time to time. She is the exception. Does it make her a bad person? Why is it so important to you that a celebrity, who has no effect on your life, should tell you an intimate truth about themselves?. What are you lacking in your own development that requires a total stranger to justify themselves to you?. Why do you need her to admit that to you?. How does that improve your life?.

I understand what you’re saying. Most movie roles don’t require an actor to completely change themselvels. I think roles that revolve around a specific period in time e.g., ancient, biblical, renaissance, french revolutionary, futuristic etc, etc, do require an actor to change their appeaance. This make the performance more real. I am able to suspend immediate reality and believe the characters being portrayed.
Aniston doesn’t do those kind of movies. Yes, she does romantic comedies. That’s her strong suit. Will she always continue to do those, who knows?. I adore Jim Carey, but he grew from slapstick tv, to comedy movies, to currently taking on dramatic roles.
Robin Williams’ career is one that has evolved. I’m not sure if all actors know from the start how they want their career to evolve, or, if some of them experience the evolution naturally over time.
I’m not equating Anistons’ talent on the level of Carey and Williams okay. Right now she may be very comfortable with the roles she chooses. Obviously, people keep writing roles like these, and, there will always be actors who want to play them.
I don’t know if there will come a time that Aniston will surprise us. I don’t know if she will feel a need to become an action hero; to play a evil character. She may not even know that herself.
What I am aware of is this. Studios are making money from her movies. Everyone in the entertainment industry has a bottom line, money. If she weren’t making money for others doing these rom-com movies, she wouldn’t be getting these parts. Sylvester Stallone made millions doing actions hero roles. They worked for him. When he tried to do comedy, it didn’t work.
Aniston may be on of those actors that best suit a certain type of role, because of her range of skills. She may one day decide to go behind the scenes and become a great director or producer. Who knows. I think acting is a profression that allows growth in many directions if the person is open to.
Even if Aniston is satisfied making only rom-coms, that’s her career choice. She is entitled to have the career she wants, as long as the public enjoys her choices. When they no longer do, then, she’ll have decisions to make.
I think the roles an actor chooses is based on their own comfort level. In life, we all evolve, some more rapidly than others. She may have a plan to do these for x amount of time and then branch out in another direction-other types of roles, who knows. An actors agents tries to get the roles their clients want. Right now this seems to be what she wants.
I’ll enjoy her career as I’ve enjoyed the career of others. I’ll continue to marvel at the choices an actor makes. I’ll be happy for them when they are able to surprise me.
I enjoy watching different styles of acting. I don’t think anyone should be judged based on another persons’ choices. This happens to be how I think about everything in life. To each his own, as long as they’re happy; action-hero, rom-com, suspence/thriller, horror, sexpot-whatever. There’s an audience for each type.
I post very rarely on this website but sometimes I feel really compelled to do so, especially when I see people speaking total crap or splitting hairs just to find reason to spew. Jennifer Aniston is a talented, pleasant-looking, sought-after actress and I don’t understand why some people won’t stop attacking her for nothing. Her acting talent is so well recognized that fellow actresses admit they watch Friends from a professional point of view for getting tips on comedic timing. Comedy is more difficult to play than drama and she plays both equally well. If producers thought that she wasn’t box office worthy anymore, they would have stopped calling her a long time ago. If Jared thought that she wasn’t newsworthy anymore, he wouldn’t start new threads. In addition to all that, she is a normal person who showed intelligence, dignity and class by letting her husband go when he made it clear that he wasn’t interested in her anymore – though she loved him. (Forget children: no man loses interest in a marriage because it can’t give him children – if that, the man regards his wife as a cow kept for breeding purposes). She’s a normal person, lives her life, makes movies which is her chosen profession and looks great! Everybody will be 40 someday! And she hasn’t talked about her marriage and divorce for about 3 years now! Apparently, Angelina is more suitable for Brad because she showed him that she was more open to the cow idea. The man still looks like a dream but in choosing a man, his vision of the future matters even more than looks, and I think his vision of “crapping somewhere between 7 and 8” is, to put it mildly, depressing. If they want to do something good, fine – but the problem is they seem to want to do something great and “great” doesn’t necessarily equal “good”. I had a boyfriend who was the middle son in a family with 8 children and all he said about it was that he would never want more than 2 kids – his mother’s life was the best example for him why many children are not a good idea. As for Jennifer Aniston losing any appeal for Brad Pitt, people tend to forget that he has been with MANY women. She’s not the first woman he lost interest in but she was the first he had to divorce to start another relationship.

So Yuliana, it’s wrong to have a lot of kids is it? Using one example to tarnish every other ‘cow’ with the same brush. And whats wrong with a man wanting children in a marriage? its a need that a lot of men have and it’s a completely natural need. The fact that Aniston didn’t want to meet that need or couldn’t, meant he went to someone who would. That speaks volumes about their relationship and obviously their bond wasn’t strong enough to get over the kid problem, otherwise they would still be together. Angelina seems to give Brad some peace which was lacking in his life before, so good for them. But in your pursuit to defend Aniston don’t go hating on people who want big families. There is nothing wrong with large families. I grew up with 5 siblings and 33 cousins and I had the best childhood I could ever hope for and never once felt neglected or ignored. Catholic families are usually large anyway so we were all used to getting in each others hair all the time. I can understand you wanting to defend Aniston but to criticise Angelina for having children is bloody madness.
Didi, Thanks for putting it so eloquently. ITA, in her haste to defend Aniston’s choice of NOT HAVING ANY CHILDREN, Yuliana dissed large families. Nothing wrong with large families, and nothing wrong with children of large families not wanting to have as many.
But what is wrong, to me, is Aniston saying in public and in print, that she “wants to be a young mother” (saying this at 32) after she got married, and saying at each and every opportunity that babies are the next project, thereby stringing her husband along, when she knew in her heart of hearts, she did not want any. Nothing wrong with women not wanting to have children, Sandra B, Charlize T, Renee Z, Cameron D all do NOT want to have children, but they were upfront about it, and never told their partners that babies are next project when they knew very well they ain’t having them.

bet, when was she planning to have her baby as her next project, she had projects a plenty with Derailed, Rumor Has It, Friends with Money and The BreakUp after Friends was finished, and none of those projects had her as pregnant. So when was she planning to have the baby? Brad was already in his 40s, he didn’t plan on doing a Warren Beatty and have them in his 50s and 60s because he wanted to be an active father. Besides, they separated in 2005, she had plenty of time to get preggers in between their wedding in 2000 and their separation in 2005, but she never stopped smoking, never stopped working.
Oh well, if you want to believe she was planning to have babies and it was Brad who got impatient, have at it.
I love Angie. But I don’t like the way people talks about Jen. I bet she is a nice person too. When you look back, Brad always had special women on his side. By saying that Jen is stupid and selfish you are insulting Brad. Maybe she and Brad dind’t have children because the time wasn’t right or any another reason. Maybe when Brad met Angie there was enough love to share it with children. We just don’t know. Important to know is that Angie is happy with Brad and the children and that Jen looks happy too. It is really sad to see her in such obvious dreck! Why can’t she go back to TV were she shines. Why does she want to do this GF stuff? Jolie-Pitt fans are here on Aniston thread, because SHE is the instigator of all the hate Aniston riled up in you fans and sympathizers. Did Marie-Louise Parker whined on Vanity Fair when she was dumped by Billy Crudup for Claire Dane, while she was 7 months pregnant? No. While Marie-Louise had all the rights to do so, she kept her hurt private, because she got integrity and intelligence. She is not stupid and had a long vision realizing that the last thing an actress needs is to be potrayed like Aniston as a Pity Queen, but she should be viewed as a strong woman of dignity.
Aniston on the other hand, made her own marriage gone sour BEFORE Angelina came along, but when she learned Brad wasn’t coming back, her ego suffered and turned her fans and scorned women everywhere against the woman who had nothing to do with the demise of her marriage. What people have a problem with is that Jen wasn’t putting in much of an effort in her marriage anyways - given she rarely was seen with Brad on his set or alone with him without the Cox&hubby, always dissed his hobbies, love of architecture(recall the coach comment in the VF interview), one year into the marriage..she was certain that he was not the love of her life, talked baby baby year after year yet didn’t follow through and when forced to say something about it…she says IT is Brad who didn,t want kids..meanwhile who has kids today…4 and counting.
Heck, even in comparison, Angelina is behaving more wife material in 2.5 yrs than Jen did in 7 yrs. ie. having a career and kids, having an interest in her man’s desgin, architecture and hobbies, spend alot of time with her man..doing things together and growing together in one direction.
…yet Jen pulled a world wide pity party as though she is the 1st woman in the world to be left by a man.

Jen will not marry any time soon because she loves the way her life is right now. And it seems like she loves attention and the only way for her to get it is by public admiration of her situation - left for another woman.
See, you’ve got to wonder too…after seeing a therapist for 13 yrs..how come nothing changed. I MEAN..NOTHING changed in her life.
Jen’s issues are deep…goes back to her childhood and are still there. Whatever issues that this girl has have affected her self-esteem, personality, relationship, motherhood, caring, and practically anything that money can’t buy.
I mean, you would think that by now - a woman pushing 40 - she would have done an 11 hour dash to deal with whatever issues these are and is on the way to the 40s..having grown some and more and that we would see it one in form or another. Then the woman has the gall to wonder why her marriage failed and why she does not have a long term relationship. This is one of best posts I have read with in a long time, I agree with you. While we don’t know “Jen” personally. If she truly changed as a human being we would see a glimpse of it. It seems Brad showed growth as a human being , while Aniston is still stuck in the same place. She obviously loved/loves the life she is leading. But I can now understand what Brad means , when he says he couldn’t sit on the couch anymore. Her fans are so busy hating , that they can’t or refuse to see that Jen has basically lied in a bunch of interviews regarding all these big changes she was going to make. She is still tanning , working, and hanging out with her family (oops my bad friends/coworkers. There is nothing wrong with that, but why should she and her fans be pissed because Brad did not want to live such a life anymore. If she truly knew what the word “compromise”was and support peharps she and brad would still be together If she at least made a effort to get off the couch and go places and discover new things with her husband, maybe they would still be together. The Vanity Fair article was a production worthy of a award. Brad check out of the marriage…Jennifer wanting kids more than Brad, when you look at Brad and Jens actions since that article, by Brad living his life he has made her and friends look like the liars they are. He is today is able to say she is a friend, that shows class, but ya know after reading the parade interview, it shows his christian values and roots, he may have strayed from them, but they are still there. forgiveness and turning the other cheek. That Parade article is wonderful because it shows that Brad is a decent and good person, and more and more of Anistons true colors are coming out. The tabloids will never researdh the Brad and Jen story in the right way, or show the other side to this “wronged woman story” because as the forbes article says jen moves magazines because she is seen as this. The tabloids are making money , so they will never come out and say Brad “was the wronged man” that does not sell. It is shame actually , but in the end whose career is suffering because of this “charade” the tabloids and Aniston herself created. It certainly not Brad, not only is making movies (something Aniston clearly wants) he seems to be fulfilled because that is not his world. So if that world (movies) end he still has his family. Uh — that’s easy.Jennifer and Brad were lying or their publicists were lying. That was the myth. The golden couple — shocked shocked that they would break up. No one knows the state of someone else’s marriage and Angelina had never met Brad before 12/03 so why wouldn’t she accept the lie that he was happily married. I do think Jennifer was his good friend — just not his lover.

Not every woman wants their lives to be ruled by a child. Let’s face it, even if you have a team of nannies, it’s the woman who makes the decisions about who takes care of her children and how they do it. You are still a 24/7 parent. Ahh, the peace of not having to constantly worry about another human beings’ growth, safety and development. to not be sleep deprived, to have many moments of peace to sit, walk, talk with whomever you want; whenever you want. No children. You can love them dearly, but, never ever want to spend your life being a parent to one.
There are millions of us in the world who are happily childless and there are millions of males just like us. I think men are less likely to bow to family pressure or societal pressure to reproduce. Since time began, there have been women and men, who don’t want to be parents; don’t need it to feel like an adult.. In fact, we feel more like an adult when we choose how we live our lives; without bowing to societal and family pressure.

I totally agree with you and think that children are a huge burden and many of my girlfriends agree. A lot of us have become accustommed to our lifestyle and feel its too late to make changes and we just like our life the way it is. At the end of the day it is your life and how you live it is up to you.
The difference with us is that WE ARE HONEST and admit that we do not want the responsibility that comes with a child. I just feel that Jennifer is a liar and her lies of wanting a child are going to come back to haunt her.
I would have respected her if she would just admit that she doesn’t want any children.
3 years down the line, its clear to see which one of them really wanted kids. Jen - 0, Brad - 4. Even Brad is looking haggard now but hey he’s happy and living the life that he wants.

In the early morning hours of January 20, one day after taping a guest spot on pal Courteney Cox’s new series Dirt, Aniston’s driver dropped her off at Kanodia’s office in Beverly Hills.

Deviated Septum is the new Appendicitis?
Us Weekly is reporting that Jennifer Aniston sought the services of Ashlee Simpson’s special nose doctor and underwent the knife herself on January 20th because…wait for it…she had a deviated septum that was preventing her from sleeping and breathing properly – the official word from her publicist Stephen Huvane who, as Us Weekly has also pointedly reported, hasn’t exactly been forthcoming with the truth on more than one occasion.
The magazine goes on to say that Jennifer “Jen has hated her nose ever since her first nose job. She always said how lousy it was and that her nose was still too wide.”
So is it out of the ordinary for a celebrity to fix up her face? Absolutely not. Happens all the time, every day. But THIS particular celebrity has always denied enhancement. THIS particular celebrity has cultivated an image out of convincing people she’s Au Naturel – with the help, of course, of the Zone Diet and a steady stream of cigarettes.

As you would expect, Huvane vehemently denied the claims at the time with an impassioned plea to the MiniVan Majority to uphold their faith that their heroine is indeed still “what you see is what you get”…right?
Well not so according to Us Weekly. According to Us Weekly Jen bought herself a new nose then and she’s tweaking the original purchase now. And so the question becomes – did Jen stop at a nose? Or did she opt for everything else too?

I too was very upset after reading the Vanity Fair mag interview. There were so many, I emphasize many damaging, side remarks in that article. The interview was done over the course of a few weeks. Remember, she had publicist, manager, agent to look after her. I am sure they have read the 1st and 2nd draft. Why would they allow such sniping comments in that article?
This has been my chief complaint on Jen.
My 4 complaints of Jennifer Aniston:–
1) that Vanity Fair interview
2) the lying to the public “a baby is on the way” when in fact we saw her keep on smoking.
3) her lack of giving back to society or not doing enough.
4) the comments made by Donovan that she is materialistic.

Bottomline, Jennifer acted the way she did because She had her future roles in jeopardy. Her way out od this mess was to SELL HER STORY to the media IN EXCHANGE for more starpower.
As soon as she filed for divorce, it meant asset divisions among themselves. There was one particular asset that she depended on for her career - Plan B. For someone who live for A DAY WHEN SHE WILL BECOME A LEADING STAR she must have seen clearly the writing on the wall that her stake in PLAN B was going to become a casulty of the divorce. I see her going - no Plan B? what happens to my upcoming movies? how am I going to get them off the ground. Remember, this is a woman whose ex-hubby created a production company for her career - her life so to speak. All that was going to go out the window once she and Pitt signed the divorce papers. Wasn’t the divorce date moved up from the summer to Oct after they hired a private judge and wasn’t she caught saying that she hated being “gagged and unable to talk about the divorce” around that time too. I think we got someone from her camp leaking the Kristin Hahn story but that same person couldn’t go on and add that Jen has been kicked out of Plan B - as that had to do with the divorce. What we got was Brad is mean because he fired apregnant woman!.
Around that time, she GOT MAD and the MADNESS turned her into A VINDICTIVE WOMAN and VOILA, the end result was the VF Interview.
Also, don’t forget that she was already in the dividing their assets(incl. Plan B) and having a hard time dealing with the whatnots regarding her future and the present of course.
IMO, Brad choosing to buy her out of Plan B was probably more damaging to her ego than seeing him with Angelina. Why? She said that their marriage was over in the summer 2004, so I don’t see her too devastated in mid 2005 when she saw Brad with Angelina. As far as the marriage goes, she like Brad had moved on by Dec 2004-Jan 2005. Thus, the separation.
What made her MAD enough to do that interview had to do with the fallout of the divorce - Plan B in particular - which we all know started as soon as she filed for divorce. Letting go of it must have been too emotionally difficulty for her because her MOVIE STARDOM was in jeopardy.

God I love Brad Pitt. I just watched the Charlie Rose interview (love Charlie Rose too) and it just reconfirmed to me that BP is a great guy in every sense of the word. Also it made mre realize that he and his X didn’t have a thing in common. I mean, I always said this, especially after reading both their bio’s and so it’s no wonder they got divorce. I mean she should still continue him a friend at least. I never forgot that and I think it’s funny how her behavior at that moment has been overlooked too.
Anyway, BAMZS is doing well and I will continue to wish them nothing more than love.
One of the reason for the demise of Jennifer Aniston’s marriage was Jennifer chose to start her movie career at the expense of her marriage. Brad and Jennifer were together for 7 years, yet childless.
Every year, we see Jennifer churn out at least 1 movie in additon to her sitcom Friends. How can you have time to spend time with your husband?
In 2003, she filmed the movie Along came Polly (in theatre in 2004). We know she also was taping Friends. Brad was out of the country making Troy in 2003. These people spent a majority of the time apart. I am sure their marriage was over by 2003. I also say they have been having cracks in the marriage long before 2003.
On thing bothered me about Jennifer is that she went to the media and told the public that “a baby is on the way”. She did it at Access Hollywood, Oprah, Diane Sawyer. But we saw pictures of her smoking. I have no problem with people smoking. But why misled the public when she had NO INTENTION of getting pregnant. With that, I lost trust on her. Once a person violates the trust, it’s hard to gain it back.
Jennifer Aniston knew what she was doing. She chose career, fame and money, and she did it beautifully. She now has all of them except a husband.

Hey Truth, read this post and the earlier one and I think you seem pretty fair so I’d like to explain my lack of respect for Jennifer’s public persona. About the VF Interview: I believe Jennifer took pains to prepare herself and her friends for that VF interview. I also believe that Jennifer and her publicist have more than normal say about the article’s contents and how things should be phrased. After all, Jennifer’s VF interview was one of the most important in her professional career and everyone, who cared about celebrity - and even those who didn’t really care, wanted to read what she had to say. So, I’ve no doubt that Jennifer carefully prepared for the interview and had greater than normal say over what would be written. Let’s see why Jennifer turned me off in her interview.
(a) I can understand the VF interview if Jennifer had come out swinging all on her own. As a woman, I really understand what is meant by being a woman scorned (been there, done that:)). So had Jennifer come up openly and honestly saying that she was pissed off and angry with Brad, I would have respected her for it. But she didn’t. She used her friendly mouthpieces to say the things that she didn’t want coming out of her own mouth. The best one was “That brad was the one who wasn’t that keen to have kids.” Give me a break. She signs up for at least 2 movies RHI and Derailed of which she is the co-star not to mention FWM and the other 3 movies that were in pre-production with Plan B - of which at least 1 or 2 might be in post production had they remained in Plan B and she gets her friends to say she really wants babies?? No, using her friends to speak for her was a very very calculated public manipulation move on her part. Yes, I can understand why you might want to manipulate the public but the underlying assumption is that her fans and the public are DUMB. I don’t appreciate being thought of as DUMB, even if I might be DUMB and I certainly don’t respect someone for assuming that their fans are DUMB. Meanwhile, time has revealed the truth - Brad has 4 kids in 2 years and has publicly declared how much he enjoys the children and how he wants even more - a soccer team (including a couple of reserves too may be??)
(b) has Jennifer ever taken responsibility for her role in her break up? In the VF Interview, she said “if you are responsible for 2% of the blame, you have to take responsiblity for that 2%”. Do you honestly think that she used the number 2% coz it popped up in her head to say 2% or was she trying to manipulate the public into thinking that she was only responsible for 2% of the blame for the break up. Remember, she would have plenty of time to prepare for this interview. it was a very important interview. She could have said “in a 7 year relationship, its impossible to allocate the blame. You can only say that both sides are to blame”. She didn’t even have to say that she was 50% to blame. But she deliberately said 2%. Does she think members of the public don’t know a thing or two about the power of suggestion??
(c) she said that Angelina was not responsible for the break up - which I believe - (see comments on long term separation of rich couples below). But she allowed Leslie Bennett to keep in her article, comments which were downright derogatory of Angelina. Her blood wearing, pseudo humanitarian, multi adopting ways. If you want to say Angelina broke up your marriage - say it. Don’t do it the back door way. If you are angry that Brad has moved so swiftly on to another woman, say it. No, Jennifer won’t say it but she’d let ms Bennet say it for her. She could have asked for that comment to be taken out or modified but of course, she didnt.
(d) she says she’ll love Brad forever. Hello, please, The VF interview completely slagged Brad. if you are angry, say you are angry. Say you are disappointed.
In interview after interview after that, she alludes to this break up. Up until October 06, she was still yakking about how yoga helped her overcome her break up, holding poses with tears pouring down her cheeks. It’s even after the Break Up movie is released. Sheesh. Can you blame anyone for thinking that she’s been milking that break up from Brad? How negative is she?? She can’t even say that yoga has really helped her through a stressful movie career when she was doing films back to back and there was enormous interest in her personal life. How it kept her strong physically and mentally to cope with the stresses in her life. Tears pouring down her face?? Bah!
Some people have been coming on line and saying that its weird Brad isnt’ with Angleina for the latest adoption. Some of the Brad and Angelina antifans are predicting a break up. Well, all I can say is that if being apart is a sign of break up, then people should take a good look at Jennifer and Brad in 2003 and ask how many days they were actually together that year, long before Angelina came into the scene. These antifans are right - long periods apart between couples who are well able to afford the travel, is probably a sign that all is not well in a relationship. Just consider what happened to Jennifer and Vince - 2 month apart before Jennifer flies in to visit Vince and what dya know? they break up.
Now both Brad and Jennifer are well able to travel first class to see each other. travelling first class is like - luxurious on Virgin Atlantic, trust me. But Jennifer had to “force” herself to visit Brad in Malta after weeks of absence (her own words by the way). And Brad obviously couldnt be bothered going to visit his wife either (see, equal responsibility, like I said). Really a good solid marriage there - wouldn’t you say??
I find Jennifer particularly insensitive when she talked in 2003 about getting to the point when she can reach out to her mother and it took her until her break up with Brad to do so. I don’t blame her for wanting to cut her mother out of her life. Some parents are toxic. But to me, its simple, don’t go to the press and talk about how you nearly ready to reach out to your own mother and not do it for more than 18 months or 2 years later. Assuming that a mother who was present in your life, throughout your childhood and into your teenage years has some genuine feelings of love for her daughter, how must she be feeling waiting for the phone to ring and hear her daughter’s voice after reading those comments in 2 high profile magazines. Please, let us not compare it to Angelina’s situation with her father. A parent who is more noted by his absence in her life then her presence. Such a parent doesn’t love his children very much is all I can say. And Angelina herself, has been absolutely clear - she isn’t interested in reaching out to her father - period.
Personally, I think Jennifer said what she did about being nearly ready to reach out to her mother because she wanted to look good to her fans. Never mind that it could and probably did hurt her mother.
To me, the recent events display Jennifer’s continued manipulative behaviour with her fans and her public -right up to recent events with her break up with Vince and her denial that she is dating a camera man but non denial that she is dating Keanu reeves (hahahahaha). If she is manipulative now, then I’m sure she was manipulative in the past as well - manipulative of her ex husband Brad. Given present day behaviour, given her past interviews, I have no reason to conclude that she didn’t use to be just a manipulative with her husband as she has been with her fans and her public.

As much as I hate to agree with US Weekly, I think they are right about the soap opera / wronged women connection. The attacks will continue, until Aniston gets married / has kids/ has a hit movie.
