Zac Efron Suits Up in Basketball Unform
Zac Efron sat down with Access Hollywood to chat about his upcoming film Seventeen, about an adult (Matthew Perry) who suddenly becomes a 17-year-old high school student (Zac). Here are some interview snippets:
On how close he was to not doing High School Musical 3: Oh gosh. No, seriously I am not going to be the guy who takes High School Musical away from all the fans. We owe everyone too much. High School Musical is a project I hold very close to my heart and I am going to complete the franchise.
On why he chose to star in Seventeen: It would have been really easy to go and play a kid. I could’ve done that in any movie. But playing a 37-year-old guy who is a kid is a little bit more interesting. It’s great when you have personal experience playing a character. For instance, High School Musical. It was pretty easy. I was playing a high school kid in his first love. Everyone has been there – I had just been there.”
On why he doesn’t talk about his personal life: “I think specifically relationships, it’s sacred ground. That’s something that needs to be between two people. Everyone else can get their noses out.”

I like to tell myself his ring is still “missing”.
When this Zanessa monster finally dies, my constant nausea will, too.
hey new zac pics here http://efronhq.com/displayimage.php?album=287&pos=5
Reese, the constant nausa is from the negativity you carry around inside, not from the relationship between Zac and Vanessa.
If you continue to let all that nasty energy control you, you will never feel better.
See a doctor, take up yoga, find a positive hobby, and enjoy the simple things in life.
I hope you feel better soon.
I think zac is so cool! He was the best in Hairspray. But he can do so much better than VH. She lies to him all the time, It says so in Seventeen magazine! I think he could do much better with a girl like any of us. Dont you agree? my email is prtykty95@aol.com u guys can email me if u want.
Chrissy, go back and read seventeen again. Nowhere in the article does it say she lies to him all the time.
And no, he would not do better with someone like you because he doesn’t go for girls that spread rumors that bash people he cares about.
#279–Chrissy:
Just what do you mean that Vanessa lies to Zac all the time? I think I need for you to give at least one example of that. And WHERE in the Seventeen magazine interview did you read that Vanessa lies to Zac? What on earth is your problem?
And the answer to your question? He would absolutely not be better with a girl like you. I sure he is much more attracted to a girl that is able to UNDERSTAND what she READS—that is, if you did indeed read the article—and is far more intelligent about life and people than you seem to be.
Good evening, Narf, my friend. I see we are “flying” on the same wavelength!
Chrissy….’she lies to him all the time’
Just where did you pluck that little jem from ??? certainly NOT from Seventeen magazine.
If you really like Zac Efron, you should support his choice of girlfiend or do as Zac suggests and ‘keep your nose out’.
Yes we are Karen, yes we are! How are you feeling?
Beverley, right on! Keep your nose out Chrissy!

Hi Narf,Karen
Hope you’ve had a good weekend.
Up far loo late yet again with a screamy toddler with a cold, she’s fast asleep again,I’m wide awake.
Don’t have to be up as early as usual, kids off school for a week.
Chrissy reminds me of my 9 year old daughter, she has a huge poster of Zac on her bedroom wall, she’s written accross it in big letters ‘hands off Vanessa ,he’s mine’.LOL
Awee, sorry your little one isn’t feeling well Beverly. I hope she feels better soon.
That’s cute your 9 yr old did that. At least your daughter knows better then to spread rumors about Vanessa to get what she wants.
Hey, Narf. I’m doing well today. It is SOOOO cold here and the wind is making it worse. It is to get down to 0 tonight. I have a little bit of a sore throat but I think it is more due to the dryness in the air.
I was gone most of the day yesterday visiting my niece who has a little girl who is turning 2 this Wednesday. Since my sister (who is the grandmother of the 2 year old) couldn’t be there on Wednesday she wanted me to go with her to Indianapolis so we could celebrate Lily’s birthday early. We had a really good time but I don’t know if my sister was happy she took me along or not since Lily decided I was the most fascinating person this weekend and wanted to hang with me all day! No, really my sister thought it was so funny how Lily attached herself to me. It’s amazing what a little mimic she is. We have all noticed that in her since she was 9-10 months old and it is just getting more pronounced all the time. So, since she is not with me so much, I think she saw “things” in me that were new and that’s why she was so interested. LOL
Aweee Karen, who wouldn’t want to be just like you? See, even a 2 year old can see you are a person to model herself after!
Narf, you were spending time with your niece this weekend, weren’t you? Did you have fun?
Hey beverley! Sorry to hear you have a sick little one on your hands. Colds are just the worst!
Yes Karen, I watched her last night. She is a pip and a half.
Hope everyone is having a good evening, sleep, morning, etc. I’ve been up since 6:30AM. Even though this was suppose to be my weekend off my relief nurse who is suppose to work when I am off called in so you know what that meant! Anyway it has been a busy and long weekend. I have to get up early again in the morning as I have two cases to do in the AM. So, I think I will go get snug in my bed and warm up and watch something enjoyable for a little while before going to sleep.
Have a good night all—hope it’s quiet.
Good night Karen, sweet dreams!
Hi, narf! How was your weekend? Watching the Grammys here. Kinda boring. They gave out 3 awards the entire first hour!!
I know go sox, I think they are doing more entertainment and giving out the awards back stage or something.
Yeah, totally agree….there are more “previously given awards” at the bottom of the screen!! I did like Beyonce with Tina Turner. Thought that was a cool mix of young and old!
That was good go sox, loved their rendition of Proud Mary!
narf, I’m gonna get to bed! Catch ya tomorrow!! G’night, Angels!!
Good night go sox!

You are such a wise lady. I couldn’t have said it better. But, you know, us old folks see things more clearly than the kiddies who haven’t been through what we have.
I truly believe that some of the younger people who come on here bemoaning the missing ring and asking for Vanessa or Zanessa are filled with deep insecurities. And they transfer those insecurities onto Zac and Vanessa’s relationship.
