OlderZac Efron Suits Up in Basketball Unform
Zac Efron sat down with Access Hollywood to chat about his upcoming film Seventeen, about an adult (Matthew Perry) who suddenly becomes a 17-year-old high school student (Zac). Here are some interview snippets:
On how close he was to not doing High School Musical 3: Oh gosh. No, seriously I am not going to be the guy who takes High School Musical away from all the fans. We owe everyone too much. High School Musical is a project I hold very close to my heart and I am going to complete the franchise.
On why he chose to star in Seventeen: It would have been really easy to go and play a kid. I could’ve done that in any movie. But playing a 37-year-old guy who is a kid is a little bit more interesting. It’s great when you have personal experience playing a character. For instance, High School Musical. It was pretty easy. I was playing a high school kid in his first love. Everyone has been there – I had just been there.”
On why he doesn’t talk about his personal life: “I think specifically relationships, it’s sacred ground. That’s something that needs to be between two people. Everyone else can get their noses out.”

Well, I’m back, got a moment earlier this morning to post and now I’m done with work until tonight.
One of the points I wanted to make earlier is I just don’t feel like it is a coincidence that Zac said what he said in the Access Hollywood interview and the reports of this new ring all at this time. Now does it make sense they would have broken up given the timeline of events that I stated above. They in in SEPARATE places—many miles apart which I don’t think everyone is grasping.
And why does he look put-out with the questions? Let us reflect what what Zac himself says about the paps:
“They use espionage tactics, and they’re MALICIOUS and RELENTLESS. Anything to get a reaction. Anything to get a frown, or a scream into the camera, or some kind of backlash.They’ve got that photo where all of a sudden, you know, Zac’s frowning—now he’s on crack!They shout things about you MOM, about your FAMILY. It’s a weird industry that I’m still getting used to. But SOMETIMES it just takes all your might now to literally SWING at these guys…” “These days everyone is just waiting for me to f*** up. I’m not gonna give ANYONE the satisfaction of that.” Details Magazine interview.
And btw, that is the February/March issue of that magazine in which Zac is wearing his ring in all pictures. Many celebrities who do magazine layouts and interview do not wear even their wedding rings. Zac found it important enough to wear his ring. By what he says in this interview—and even George Clooney has said similar things on occasion—they can shout some irritating things. But believe me, you are not going to hear the type things they are asking or saying if it is horrible. They just want it to look like a celebrity strikes out or acts sully without provocation. AND if someone asked him about a breakup with Vanessa and he got looking angry, I think that says something right there.

There is something majorly wrong with the Papz business nowadays. It’s sickening. I wish the government would make a law in limiting their disclosures and pictures. Maybe we should petition it!

Good morning/afternoon, Steph! Hope your day is going well. I’ve been awake since 4AM because I couldn’t sleep. My throat was so sore but it is better right now. But, since I have to work tonight I think I’d best go take a little nap! LOL
The thing about the paps at the airport: When has Zac EVER answered their questions at the airport? When has he ever answered questions that concerned his personal life? Why would his behavior seems different this time to anyone? But I’m sure he gets a little irritated when he has said repeatedly how he will not answer certain questions and yet they keep throwing out those questions. I would also be annoyed. How many times have some of us gotten annoyed on these threads when repeatedly answering the SAME questions? People don’t listen or in our case on the board, READ.
