OlderZac Efron Suits Up in Basketball Unform
Zac Efron sat down with Access Hollywood to chat about his upcoming film Seventeen, about an adult (Matthew Perry) who suddenly becomes a 17-year-old high school student (Zac). Here are some interview snippets:
On how close he was to not doing High School Musical 3: Oh gosh. No, seriously I am not going to be the guy who takes High School Musical away from all the fans. We owe everyone too much. High School Musical is a project I hold very close to my heart and I am going to complete the franchise.
On why he chose to star in Seventeen: It would have been really easy to go and play a kid. I could’ve done that in any movie. But playing a 37-year-old guy who is a kid is a little bit more interesting. It’s great when you have personal experience playing a character. For instance, High School Musical. It was pretty easy. I was playing a high school kid in his first love. Everyone has been there – I had just been there.”
On why he doesn’t talk about his personal life: “I think specifically relationships, it’s sacred ground. That’s something that needs to be between two people. Everyone else can get their noses out.”

I just noticed that Zac and the players short were a bit longer, considering the set-up could be in the 70’s or 80’s? since he return to become 17 again, just my thought…

He is so unselfish. This guy has class. He could have walked away, but he didn’t forget where he came from. Loyalty works both ways. And this guy is loyal to the umpteenth degree. And people wonder why he has fans from across the age spectrum.

This is what I wrote to the video on youtube.
I don’t think that when he said that he had been there, that he meant that he and Vanessa broke up, I think that he meant that he knew what it’s like to go though what Troy have been through, including first love, which I don’t know if it was Vanessa or someone else, not that it matter. And we can’t forget that Zac was what when they filmed HSM 1, 17?
What I noticed was the mysterious yet genuine smile on his face when he said that relationships is between two people and that it’s sacred, I really think that he thought about Vanessa at that point, I mean, if they had broken of, do you really think that he would have smiled or even mentioned the word relationship in an interview, I mean, if they had I bet he would have said the usual “I just don’t like to talk about my personal life” I could be wrong but that’s what I think.
So that’s my opinion.
I don’t know this for sure but I read it somewhere but it’s what Dr Phil said “Relationships is between two people but if you start letting others in, it’s then things start to go wrong” – I’m really glad that Zac and Vanessa is keeping this between themselves.
You know, I bet that there’s nothing they would ratter like to do then be able to go out like a normal couple, hold hand, chare kisses etc. I don’t think either of us can imagine what it’s like to always have to hide and keep a distance like them. I mean, there are a few times, like from Zac’s birthday dinner, when he asks her if she’s ok, I mean, it obvious that the wants to protect her like any guy would (with their love I mean) and it must be hard not to, if you know what I mean.
Errien – Vanessa is in Austin filming her new movie ‘Will’ and I’m o expert but people have said that there aren’t any/few papz there so that’s why we haven’t seen any pictures, however, eyes witnesses have said that they’ve seen her there so in this case we have to trust them.

I’m sure Zac and Vanessa are fine,they were together the weekend before V left for Texas and looked perfectly happy.
