OlderBennifer’s House Hunting Continues
Casual-looking couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner get in some more house hunting sans daughter Violet in Venice, Calif. on Friday.
Ben, 35, wore a Gold’s gym sweatshirt. Jen, 35, wore a “The O’Neill” sweatshirt, promoting The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.
Ben was recently written up in a Canadian paper, which said the film he directed (Gone Baby Bone) was robbed of an Oscar nomination. They also compare his role as a director to Clint Eastwood’s. Here’s a snippet:
“So, what does Affleck’s film have to do with the legendary Clint? Well, it’s that Eastwood directed Mystic River, another compelling crime drama that earned Clint a best directing Oscar nomination (he ultimately lost to Peter Jackson, whose Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King dominated that year).
“Mystic was written by Dennis Lehane, who also wrote Gone Baby Gone. And, quite frankly - and shockingly - I think Affleck’s picture is far more compelling and impressively told than Eastwood’s was.”

They look good… :)
I read on a real estate blogger’s website, that has been tracking this couples’ house hunting adventures, is that this house they have been viewing in Venice beach is a small cottage like house and that it probably is to house the nanny or one of their assistants. The big house they have been looking at in Beverly Hills is probably the one they will buy for their family since they have seen it four times now and have had contractors visit it.

I like these two and I love Violet, but do they ever smile when they’re together. I’m sorry - they do not look happy here or anywhere else.
theres the unhappy fake couple-walking apart. ben has on his ink stained jacket-plain jane jen looking a mess as usual, at least she put that scaggly greasy hair up in a bun. not believing this couple is happy..he manages to get off the couch, interesting. hes so not into her.

A spywitness recently saw the actor at a Starbucks near the three-bedroom NYC apartment he shares with wife Jennifer Garner, 35, and their daughter, Violet, 2. Ben, 35, picked up a muffin and tea for his wife, the stopped at a flower stand. “He bought a dozen red roses and was rearranging them in the elevator going up to his apartment,” the source says. “It was adorable”.

They are not going to smile, candid pictures of celebrities smiling are snapped up by magazines like People and Usmagazine and go for a lot of money, this couple knows how this works and are not going to give anyone a “money shot” unless they are promoting a movie or if they will professionally benefit from it. People and Usmagazine as well as tabloid magazine websites, do not buy pictures of celebrities looking like this because it does not interest people. Gossip blogs like this one get these kind of pics cheap, these are considered sloppy seconds, the leftovers if you will. If you go to the official website of the photo agency taking the photos you will see the complete set of photos taken, a lot of times there will be really nice shots but those are expensive and are often bought for exclusive use only of People or Usmagazine. Just Jared gets the sloppy seconds, case in point.
