Casual-looking couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner get in some more house hunting sans daughter Violet in Venice, Calif. on Friday.
Ben, 35, wore a Gold’s gym sweatshirt. Jen, 35, wore a “The O’Neill” sweatshirt, promoting The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.
Ben was recently written up in a Canadian paper, which said the film he directed (Gone Baby Bone) was robbed of an Oscar nomination. They also compare his role as a director to Clint Eastwood’s. Here’s a snippet:

I read on a real estate blogger’s website, that has been tracking this couples’ house hunting adventures, is that this house they have been viewing in Venice beach is a small cottage like house and that it probably is to house the nanny or one of their assistants. The big house they have been looking at in Beverly Hills is probably the one they will buy for their family since they have seen it four times now and have had contractors visit it.

She was terrific, esp. if you have ever dealt with infertility and looked beautiful. ruby dee was hardly in American Gangster at all. She is purely a sentimental choice,not as deserving as Jennifer. First, I don’t believe in the things that this woman said, just because who is her? Is she living with Ben or Jen? Is she a close friend of Jen? I don’t think so… so I have no reason to believe! I don’t think she should divorce Ben. No way. If she loves him - then she loves him but it seems to me they’ll stay together for a long time, I hope. For one, I like Ben. He’s a good guy and despite all that happened several years ago, I’m glad that he finally picked up the pieces and moved on to a better life with Jen at his side. I think its ironic that after seeing them in Daredevil together made me think if they’ll ever be together for reals. Funny how that thought came true.

I feel so sorry for Jennifer Garner. He is so not into her. She practically has to beg for a hug and a kiss. Sorry Jen , you are trying to put on a happy family show for the paps but it is not working. It’s obvious that Ben is bored . It’s obvious that you love him more than he does you. It’s so painfully obvious that you are sick with jealousy over Ben’s love for his ex JLO. You are trying so hard but deep down in your heart , you know who Ben really loves. and that’s JLO. it must be hard for you to see news about his ex all th time and know that she will always be a shadow between the two of you .

I sooo agree…I think jen is trying hard to keep the marriage in tact…they have a kid whom they both adore and they have to keep up with the image…like my sister, she doesn’t sleep with her husband in one room but holds his hand when in public since by brother-in-law is a politician.
