OlderBennifer’s House Hunting Continues
Casual-looking couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner get in some more house hunting sans daughter Violet in Venice, Calif. on Friday.
Ben, 35, wore a Gold’s gym sweatshirt. Jen, 35, wore a “The O’Neill” sweatshirt, promoting The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.
Ben was recently written up in a Canadian paper, which said the film he directed (Gone Baby Bone) was robbed of an Oscar nomination. They also compare his role as a director to Clint Eastwood’s. Here’s a snippet:
“So, what does Affleck’s film have to do with the legendary Clint? Well, it’s that Eastwood directed Mystic River, another compelling crime drama that earned Clint a best directing Oscar nomination (he ultimately lost to Peter Jackson, whose Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King dominated that year).
“Mystic was written by Dennis Lehane, who also wrote Gone Baby Gone. And, quite frankly - and shockingly - I think Affleck’s picture is far more compelling and impressively told than Eastwood’s was.”

If Ben smells a pap, he won’t smile believe ME. This is the second time they’ve looked at this blue house I hope they dont buy it because obviously it has NO SECURITY if the paps can get that up close when they are just looking. Interestingly, no real estate agents around.(?)

if it weren’t for their little daughter Violet they would have split ages ago. there is absolutely no chemistry between them…they make no contact when walking, shopping or even in the car. i have never seen a more miserable looking couple. the only time either one is smiling is if they are alone with Violet. mark my words…that marriage won’t last!!

You are RIGHT Jared to give ink to GBG. These idiots on this thread continue to ignore you. Gone Baby Gone was robbed of an oscar!!!! It is terrific! Get the DVD out Tuesday!!! They obviously want to be noticed for professional not personal reasons!! They are not some celebrity couple at all! This is not Bennifer! That was a mockery! TGhis is a couple that has serious props this year for an excellent, oscar worthy performance from Jenn in Juno and an oscar worthy perf. from Ben in GB G!
I agree. Even though they werent nominated they were both deserving. Jenn made me cry in Juno. She was terrific, esp. if you have ever dealt with infertility and looked beautiful. ruby dee was hardly in American Gangster at all. She is purely a sentimental choice,not as deserving as Jennifer. Google all the JUNO reviews and they ALL mention Jennifer as being a highlight.
Ben got 93% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes for GBG—one of the highest rated movies of the year! and it was his first try! Bravo Afflecks on your ACCOMPLISHMENTS. although idiots only care if you cuddle as you walk to your car for the PAPS to sell their pictures. Good for you not to debase yourselves for them.

how funny,one year ago and even in August,they were kissing and holding hands while they were ib Vacation and they even at some points were looking at papz and they were very well aware of them and don’t forget that pic from Car where they were putting V in car and then after that they started kissing in front of hell lots of papz in 2007 and then suddenly in late 2007 and in early 2008 accoding to their fans they are not going to smile and kiss in front of camera and they are private.(my ass)gove me fukcing break please.
They just don’t want give to the paps what the paps want! They don’t need to kiss in front of the cameras to prove their love… and I don’t like of couples that do it!

They are not going to smile, candid pictures of celebrities smiling are snapped up by magazines like People and Usmagazine and go for a lot of money, this couple knows how this works and are not going to give anyone a “money shot” unless they are promoting a movie or if they will professionally benefit from it. People and Usmagazine as well as tabloid magazine websites, do not buy pictures of celebrities looking like this because it does not interest people. Gossip blogs like this one get these kind of pics cheap, these are considered sloppy seconds, the leftovers if you will. If you go to the official website of the photo agency taking the photos you will see the complete set of photos taken, a lot of times there will be really nice shots but those are expensive and are often bought for exclusive use only of People or Usmagazine. Just Jared gets the sloppy seconds, case in point.

I agree with whoever told it seems they are bored with each other.and teah they are NOT normal couple.
they are a couple who got bored with each other after some times and you want to find evidence look at their past pics not even that much far but you can find their lovely pics and in front of PAPs.and I think truth will come out sooner than later.
I read in one blog which in it a woman claims she was an insider and she knows alot about celebrities. she was talking about Ben and Jen and was telling that they have alot of problem together and she was telling that they don’t agree with each other even in very small things and the thing that just keep them together is their kid.I don’t know how much you can count on her as insider but she was claiming so.
but one thing is for sure Ben and Jen are very less in love with each other compare to their start of their relationship.maybe another pregnancy or baby will help them.who knows!

First, I don’t believe in the things that this woman said, just because who is her? Is she living with Ben or Jen? Is she a close friend of Jen? I don’t think so… so I have no reason to believe! I believe that NOBODY knows what happened behind the doors… and also I don’t believe that a kid can keep a relationship… this is not possible. Of course all the couples in the world have problems, but this is normal!
And I’m not saying that theu will stay together forever… no, they can get a divorce someday… this can happened with any couple.
I just don’t like say things based on pics (10 secondes of their lives)… And also think that they have a strong feeling, come on Ben spent 3 months supporting her on Broadway, he was on the theater almost every day… my mom went to the closing performance of Cyrano and said that ben was in the front row to cheer on jen. very sweet.

I don’t think she should divorce Ben. No way. If she loves him - then she loves him but it seems to me they’ll stay together for a long time, I hope. For one, I like Ben. He’s a good guy and despite all that happened several years ago, I’m glad that he finally picked up the pieces and moved on to a better life with Jen at his side. I think its ironic that after seeing them in Daredevil together made me think if they’ll ever be together for reals. Funny how that thought came true.
