OlderBennifer’s House Hunting Continues
Casual-looking couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner get in some more house hunting sans daughter Violet in Venice, Calif. on Friday.
Ben, 35, wore a Gold’s gym sweatshirt. Jen, 35, wore a “The O’Neill” sweatshirt, promoting The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.
Ben was recently written up in a Canadian paper, which said the film he directed (Gone Baby Bone) was robbed of an Oscar nomination. They also compare his role as a director to Clint Eastwood’s. Here’s a snippet:
“So, what does Affleck’s film have to do with the legendary Clint? Well, it’s that Eastwood directed Mystic River, another compelling crime drama that earned Clint a best directing Oscar nomination (he ultimately lost to Peter Jackson, whose Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King dominated that year).
“Mystic was written by Dennis Lehane, who also wrote Gone Baby Gone. And, quite frankly - and shockingly - I think Affleck’s picture is far more compelling and impressively told than Eastwood’s was.”

17, a spywitness saw Ben and he said that Ben looked so unhappy that he decided to buy himself some flowers to cheer himself up. Like we are suppose to believe unsubstantiated rumors lol!!!

lol, I saw the pet store photos and it was so sad the way Jen tries to kiss Ben and he kinda hugs her back but keeps his hand in his pocket. If my guy hugged me half-assed like that, I’d sure get the message he’s just not that into me. Really it’s a shame. Poor Jen.

I sure didn’t see a full lip lock. I saw Jen trying to hug Ben and he just shrugs her off. He’d rather be on the couch watching Gigli on the dvd. So sad for Jennifer and especially Violet.

I feel so sorry for Jennifer Garner. He is so not into her. She practically has to beg for a hug and a kiss. Sorry Jen , you are trying to put on a happy family show for the paps but it is not working. It’s obvious that Ben is bored . It’s obvious that you love him more than he does you. It’s so painfully obvious that you are sick with jealousy over Ben’s love for his ex JLO. These do not look like happy people. Grim faces, looking away from each other…what a shame. She will probably hook up with Matthew McConaughey while they are making their new movie anyway, that’s what she does. It’s how she got with Ben anyway.
