Daniel Craig takes a break with girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell in Panama City, where Craig is shooting the latest James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.
Costar Gemma Arterton was also present.
Quantum of Solace has a tentative release date of Nov. 7 and is being directed by the great Marc Forster (The Kite Runner, Finding Neverland).

If you go in there and click on page 31 you’ll find an article about the filming in Panama. In that article they say that “Craig left clutching the hand of his wife Satsuki Mitchell”.

#9 Well as I said “Casino Royale” was a success both critically and commercially so obviously some people liked Daniel Craig. I know I did. I had some problems with the movie but he was IMO a great Bond.

There are varying degrees of dedication. He is dedicated to his marriage but he can have is fun on the side doesn’t mean he is going to leave her, it just means he likes variety. This is not unusal for European/British men to have a wife and a lover. It’s is a practice that is still very accepted in parts of the world and in relationships. They just hide it well or he just hides it well.

According to one anonymous friend, Daniel likes to enjoy his freedom. He would never agree to be on a ball and chain. Satsuki let’s him get on with it and come back to her later when he’s ready. So make of that what you will!!!
I get the impression that he is the clingy one and she is his blankie (comfort blanket) to hang on to when he is stressed. I think she is ok with this type of relationship. In photos you can see that he is the one upfront who wants the media/fame attention (but can’t really handle it when he recieves it ) and she stands looking scared just behind him. As long as these women are financially satisfied and their statues remains as Mrs or GF of X (especially of he famous and rich) then they would put up with whatever. You see this all the time in Asian society but this goes on in other ethnic societies too.

Don’t know about landing him any roles but she has got Hollywood background. Maybe in a way of helping him make deals and choosing roles, she’s business minded and Dan’s not so and you can’t trust a manager totally.
Dan must be good enough actor to be cast as Bond, I was not that keen of him playing the new bond but after watching the movie I thought otherwise, he was not bad at all, different.

I think Daniel doesn’t want to marry again or have more children - it appears that the driving force in his life at the moment is working on his career.
In his relationship with Heike she wanted to move the relationship onto another level i.e. marriage / children. Which after 7 years is perfectly reasonable. He was reluctant but talked about proposing in a magazine interview a month before they broke up. This sounds like he is the typical guy and doesn’t know what the hell he wants but I think it suggests that he wants to keep the status quo.
I think he will stay with Satuski as long as he is comfortable. After all, where else is he going to find a woman who will obsequiously follow him around the world, playing second fiddle and willingly giving up a promising career just to work on his. No strong minded woman would put up with a man this egotistical. I think he is satisfied with what he has at the moment he is concentrating on his career and so is she.
However a shift in the equilibrium - marriage and more significantly a child - would have him running for the hills.
# to Batalgo - he has been trying to break into Hollywood for a while now i.e. Tomb Raider, Road to Perdition, Munich. He has expressed a desire to be the leading man in big Hollywood type films in an old interview. I don’t think he is worried about being typecast. His recent film choices show that he is happy playing this type of role i.e. The Invasion, Golden Compass, Defiance. I think the perception that he is going to be typecast as Bond is just bad journalism - they can’t see whats in front of their own faces - he is telling them himself he doesn’t consider it to be a big problem.
In recent interviews for QoS he looks jubilant he is the leading man at the helm of a worldwide film franchise.

It doesn’t matter what you say about Satsuki, she’s going to have have the last laugh by becoming Daniel’s wife and the mother of his future children. Like the article says ‘Sats is his girl’. I don’t think there is any truth to the negative comments other than she is not very attractive but I think they are a solid couple and are very happy being together.

Attractive….a lot of things can be classified as attractive, not just looks, she must be attractive in other ways.
There are many reasons why guys like dating/ marrying plain looking women, even though I thought she’s not too bad for Dan, just a bit thin, ok, she does look old for her age.
By looking at those pics is like they have been together for a long, long time, like they are just used to each other being there.
I am not sure why his love life is such a debate among fans and people who know or claim to know him. it’s up to Daniel and Satsuki if they are going to be together and no one else.
If they marry for love, convenience, business reasons, obligation etc it’s their life and they will live it with or without the the input from others.

there are news reports coming out now that daniel and satsuki will marry after the filming of bond 22. he’s reportedly planning a very private wedding with just family and friends. so what ever people may think of the girl it appears to be a done deal.
It was reported weeks ago he will be marrying her after the bond movie but people keep saying is not going to happen, we will soon know.
If you look on the Just Jared board for the Golden Compass red carpet there is someone named Ms M (possibly Ms Mitchell herself) that mentioned these wedding plans in November so this news has been out for sme time now. It’s in the tabloids but nothing has been confirmed by Daniel in any of his interviews recently. Someone should just come out and ask him the question.
i think people have tried to ask him the question, but daniel wont answer questions about his private life. i guess he thinks that his marriage plans are none of our business. who can blame him, given the way the members of the press behave these days.

We are judged by the company we keep. I don’t understand why he wants to be seen in public with her ( the wrinkled shirt, awful hair and make-up, strapless dress hanging off her nipples barely, unattractiveness) that is what I don’t understand. He usually looks well groomed and she looks bad. I saw one picture with her hair all over the place and her eyes were crossed. People only have to be concerned with his professional judgements and that he continues to make good movies. As for his personal judgements, it doesn’t matter or shouldn’t matter to the public who he chooses to have at his side we never know who we are going to fall in love with, not everyone will approve of his choices but in the end it only affects him and the woman he is with not the world.

As a man who married as a result of feeling pressured I can tell you it will not work out or he will live a very unhappy life. If he is feeling pressured it is an indication that something is off in the relationship and that will never go away if it is not dealt with now. If he is feeling pressured she is not the one and obligation will eventually get the best of him. I understand what he might be going through but he will make the right choice.

I can’t lie and say she is a pretty girl that has a great sense of style, because she is not, but you have to give her credits, and also to Daniel….maybe he’s not that shallow and has seen some other qualities in her besides her looks.
