Daniel Craig’s Satsuki Break
Daniel Craig takes a break with girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell in Panama City, where Craig is shooting the latest James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.
Costar Gemma Arterton was also present.
Quantum of Solace has a tentative release date of Nov. 7 and is being directed by the great Marc Forster (The Kite Runner, Finding Neverland).

How could she possibly good for his career? Is she the reason he landed the role in Bond? Was she responsible for landing him any roles?

Don’t know about landing him any roles but she has got Hollywood background. Maybe in a way of helping him make deals and choosing roles, she’s business minded and Dan’s not so and you can’t trust a manager totally.
Dan must be good enough actor to be cast as Bond, I was not that keen of him playing the new bond but after watching the movie I thought otherwise, he was not bad at all, different.
I am not a fan, just wanted to see what all the commotion was about this Satsuki, maybe she’s not everyone’s taste but she’s certainly Dan’s, looks not everything sometimes, maybe Dan’s not shallow.
Heard that he wants a baby with Satsuki so he must love her enough to want that, as long as he’s happy then good luck to them.
Well that makes more sense. I heard about the baby as well and they are preparing for that by buying a bigger house together and getting married. You are right he must really love her to want to have a baby with her

There is not going to be any baby or marriage; According to his inner circle he will never marry her. She pushed for the ring and he was under alot of pressure and felt obligated and still does. The press has only recently picked up on it but according to other commets she got it for Chrstmas 2006 as a thank you for her sevices — I suppose that can mean personal and professional services. She wears it on her ring finger to make the world beleive they are engaged that is why he won’t comment on the whehter or not they are really engagned
I just find her so gross. Her hair and taste in clothes are awful not to mention her man face. For example wearing the grey gown with no bra to an event.One boob was hanging lower than the other. Doesn’t that embarrass him? She seems like she is there for his money and lifestyle. I don’t believe her career amounted to much as The Jackal was one of the truly worst movies I ever saw. Why have a baby with this FUG, he doesn’t seem to have that much time to be with the daughter he has.

then i have to wonder what’s wrong with the girl. you would think she would be smart enough to figure out that daniel’s not going to marry her. maybe satsuki thinks that if she hangs around long enough daniel will change his mind. of course, he could just surprise his inner circle and marry her.
i love him, but i do wonder whether as bond he’s been typecast in h-wood. it seems that a better way to break into h-wood would be like marion cottilard did. having said that though, roberto benigni never did follow up his ‘98? ‘99? oscar w/anything noteworthy…

But why gift a ring as a thank you gift, he could have bought her a necklace or a bracelet, guys just don’t give rings out without a thought and is in an engagement style, it must be at least a commitment ring or something or he’s just giving her false hope?

I think Daniel doesn’t want to marry again or have more children - it appears that the driving force in his life at the moment is working on his career.
In his relationship with Heike she wanted to move the relationship onto another level i.e. marriage / children. Which after 7 years is perfectly reasonable. He was reluctant but talked about proposing in a magazine interview a month before they broke up. This sounds like he is the typical guy and doesn’t know what the hell he wants but I think it suggests that he wants to keep the status quo.
I think he will stay with Satuski as long as he is comfortable. After all, where else is he going to find a woman who will obsequiously follow him around the world, playing second fiddle and willingly giving up a promising career just to work on his. No strong minded woman would put up with a man this egotistical. I think he is satisfied with what he has at the moment he is concentrating on his career and so is she.
However a shift in the equilibrium - marriage and more significantly a child - would have him running for the hills.
# to Batalgo - he has been trying to break into Hollywood for a while now i.e. Tomb Raider, Road to Perdition, Munich. He has expressed a desire to be the leading man in big Hollywood type films in an old interview. I don’t think he is worried about being typecast. His recent film choices show that he is happy playing this type of role i.e. The Invasion, Golden Compass, Defiance. I think the perception that he is going to be typecast as Bond is just bad journalism - they can’t see whats in front of their own faces - he is telling them himself he doesn’t consider it to be a big problem.
In recent interviews for QoS he looks jubilant he is the leading man at the helm of a worldwide film franchise.

I think she is looking painfully thin in these new pics, obviously Daniel likes his women very thin but she is going to start looking ill soon. Someone feed the poor lass!!
Maybe she stays thin to please him. If he likes his women thin then she will do her best to stay thin if she wants to be with him.
She does look thin however she as a result of that she looks good in her clothes. Then again clothes always look better on a hanger!!!!!

I hope that’s not the case Lou Lou, i’ve been in a relationship like that and it’s not a healthy place to be, believe me. She just looks so frail.
She is probably just tired and stressed from all the travel. Some people handle it better than others. Or maybe she is just bored of it all now and wants to just rest and eat. You have to give her credit she is hanging in there. Lets hope she doesn’t break. Plus if Daniel thinks she is ill in anyway I am sure she would be his first priority and he would do what is necessary to make sure she is or will be ok
I think the girl deserves a medal and a damn good holiday!!
She already has a medal - an engagment ring! Not to mention Daniel and his wallet that is more than enough. So what she dropps afew pounds in the process and he likes it so all is good. She is on a permanent holiday Stonefox don’t kid yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
