Ellen Pompeo attended the Marc Jacobs Fall 2008 fashion show and wore a sexy (yet wearable) piece from the same collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at the New York State Armory on Friday.

It fits Ellen better, but I prefer the brighter red on the model.

ellen looks better in it but its an ugly dress no matter what. i wished it didnt have that silly slit at the side or if ellen didnt wear those ugly leggings…anyhow, she looks nicer but get rid of the purse!

Neither, that dress is just fugly no matter what, and it doesn’t help matters that it is worn by someone equally as fugly.
Seems to me that Ellen has become very humped up on all the attention she has been getting lately, wonder if she would still consider herself to be a private person? or is she joining the famewhore brigade?
Lots of attention can be quite addicting, sucks that she sold out. I actually had more respect for her when she was a “private person” , now she is just another media attention grabbing *****.

I’m, personally, not crazy about the outfit in general, on either. Ellen’s working it though, I think she’s doing it as much justice as anyone could, and I adore her, so Ellen.
Ellen looks great, as usual. I actually kind of like the dress, and Ellen totally rocks it. Love Mark Jacobs, love Ellen. Number 33, why do you blame Ellen (or any other celebrity, for that matter) because the paparazzi take pictures of her? That’s their job. Ellen went to fashion week, that doesn’t make her fame-hungry. Besides, she is already famous enough, she doesn’t need the attention. So back off, and stop spreading your venom just for the fun of it. Ellen doesn’t deserve you bashing her for no reason. Can’t you just be happy for her? She’s gorgeous, successful, talented, and seems to be very in love with her husband. More happy people, I say! And thank goodness we should be seeing more of Ellen very soon on Grey’s Anatomy!

Ellen for sure. she pulls it off very nicely. she takes risks and she does it with flying colors. this week has been amazing fro Ellen she never looked better. I hope she keeps the stylist and i hope she manages to keep some of that weight on once she gets back to work. while working ellen always seems to loose some weight, its no wonder with 13 hours of work a day.

I work for MaxMara, every morning our boss comes with a book with pics of each runaway of the fashion week and pictures of celebrities to see their clothes.
Ellen Pompeo is the one the most analysis, she’s very interesting; every morning we look forward to see what she has worn, she is very bold.
That must be a real pleasure working with her, in terms of fashion I speak.
According to my fellow designers who attended the fashion week , Ellen Pompeo is very nice and wonderful, not at all a snob or obnoxious.

Love Ellen, but hate this dress on both her and the model. Thanks for all the pictures JJ. This is the most we have seen of her in the last 4 years combined! I know it is because of the strike, but it appears we won’t see much of her anymore….back to working 16 hours days of the set of Greys Anatomy.
