Beyonce can easily outshine Tina here, but she didn’t DO THAT. Cause she respect Tina, and Tina has always been her inspiration when she’s perform on STAGE.

Get real people. She’s a normal size; camera adds pounds. Guess you better make all of your daughters 20 pounds underweight in case they ever get photographed. She is happy with how she looks and who she is, if YOU don’t like it, don’t watch her. Simple as that. As for the dress, if you look, you’ll see that it’s actually net, not bare. Her stage clothes are made to draw attention; it worked. Her gown was lovely, flattering and not cheap at all.

Beyonce is the most beautiful black woman I’ve ever seen. Fat, Shmat! She is gorgeous. I’m sick of seeing all these skinny bony assed women trying to pass for sexy. Bee is not fat. She looks like a normal human being who isn’t barfing up her dinner every night.

I suppose y’all think Marilyn Monroe was fat! Nope, she had a body that wouldn’t quit and so does Bee. I hate seeing those knobby knees, ribs and backbones sticking out on all those red carpet babes. Ugh. Skinny is hard on the eyes. Beyonce isn’t.

Okay, please stop hating on this Show-stopper. beyonce is the bomb and you all know it. Very few women in the musical-theatre field can say that they performed with Tina Turner and performed for Tina Turner. I know Cher did in the 70s a few times. Truth is, Beyonce is the only performer today who has a staying power similar to Tina. You have to admit that the new hairdo, the costume, and the stage presence is reminiscent of Tina.

At the Kennedy Center Awards a few years back, Beyonce was chosen to render the tribute to Tina performing proud Mary and performing it flawlessly, I might add. She is the master of self-promotion and reinvention ( a tip taken from Madonna), and she often pays tribute to the great women of music who came before her. I might also add that Beyonce has been in the business since the age of fourteen and is still growing and going strong. She has paid her dues. Okay, there were three incarnations of Destiny’s Child, but the group went out on top and she, Michelle, and Kelly still seem to have a great relationship.

I love the manner in which she introduced Tina Turner at the Grammy’s. it was very tasteful and respectful to all the women who stopped the show before her. I like that she pays homage to them in her style, performances, and music. She has taken the best from all of them, Donna Summers, Janet Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Sarah Vaughn, Nancy Wilson, Lena Horne, Gladys Knight, Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, et al. i hated that she omitted Patti LaBelle. I can forgive her for that.

Give Ms. Knowles her propers. She is a dynamo in the music and entertainment industry and is virtually scandal free. I don’t alway like her choice of evening gowns, but I can say the same for Mariah Carey (whose taste I abhor), Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, and Jennifer Lopez. The girl is beautiful, thick in all the right places, and very well grounded. I think there are only two other performers in her class: Janet Jackson and Madonna, but neither of them can touch her vocals. Yes Rhianna is cute and very talented, but she hasn’t been the public eye, world-wide, for 12 years either. I see that most of her styling is very similar to Beyonce’s and they are sharing the talents of Jay Z, but even he is not IRREPLACEABLE.

As for as her personal dress and demeanor is concerned, she’s only 26 years old. Her personal, off-stage style is similar to that of other successful (and not-so-successful) women her age. She can just afford a higher price point than any of these commentators who are hating on her. Let’s just thank God that she’s not in and out of drug rehab, or accumulating DWIs and DUIs, ******** her back-up dancers, marrying every man who says “hi” to her, having a bunch of babies, arrests for violence, or a mug-shot on SmokingGun.com Give the girl some room Yeah, let her do for her man the same stuff you’re doing for yours. If she wants to freak him with some head, so what? If Jay Z were your man, you’d blow him, too. I’m a man and I’d give him some. Feel me? Okay, she had a little too much to drink at a party, but unlike these other ___ (rhymes with “toes”), she was smart enough to have a driver and she left with her long-time boyfriend who is not video-taping her and posting it on the internet. She’s working hard and doing it for a reason. Maybe she’s trying to become a billionaire before she’s 30. I don’t know and you don’t know either, but if you were given her success and her daily grind, I wonder if you could do better with her life. I doubt it because then it would be YOUR life. The fact that you are hating on her glamour, appeal, and success, states that your life doesn’t even come close.

Beyonce has enough money to pay someone to be skinny and fine for her if she has a baby and gains weight, but she has proven tht she has the determination lose it when she wants to do so. Many women in the entertainment industry have children and regain their flawless figures, many of them do it after age 30. Even with a pot belly, gelatinous thighs, and cottage cheese butt, Beyonce with still fill an auditorium and her bank accounts simply because she’s talented. She is going to be the Josephine Baker on this age. It’s a status that Diana Ross strove to attain, but did not. No disrespect for Miss Ross or her fan base.

So go ahead and give it up for Beyonce. Her critics were against her for the ousting of the sisters in DC, but she survived and overcame (quickly) and successfully launched two different versions of DC immediately thereafter. Already, she has gained some iconic roles (Carmen, the Hip Hopera and Dreamgirls) channeling divas Dorothy Dandridge and Diana Ross. Her next step is either to portray a legend in a silver screen bio-pic or reinvent/remake/re-nterpret a classic movie like The Wiz, Sparkle, the Lena Horne Story, or Mahogany to which she will get an Oscar.

She always has on the ugliest shiniest clothes!….(sigh) WHEN WILL IT END!….I agree with comment 11…She wears the sames things every single time but it’s just different color…..Her dresses and her performance gear are pathetic…..I HATE HER STYLE, MUSIC, BODY, HAIR, AND FACE (she has a pretty smile though)…..her hair always looks like dried out seaweed….Someone please get this young lady some oil sheen

I have seen so many posts everywhere about this dress…and it wasn’t even a red carpet official dress, it was the dress she wore to Clive Davis’s Grammy Afterparty. I HATE this dress. It’s RIDICULOUS, and stupid.
