I give the movie an over all 9 on a 1-10 it had some downs but what movie doesn’t? Rachel and Hayden did NOT seem like a couple AT ALL.

I agree Rachel Bilson not a strong actress at all. I saw the O.C. not impressed, I think Hayden can do okay on his own. If there was any weaknesses or bad acting in the movie it was most likely on Bilson’s part.

It’s odd, yes. But, they don’t have to promote it together anymore. They’ll probably be doing it by themselves. Interviews and all. They don’t need to be together anymore to sell the movie. Think about it. They could have had a fight, yes. But, can’t know that for sure. Personally, I’m still neutral but it does appear like it’s the end of the line on this one. Let’s not kid ourselves.

Well if the verdic is that this movie which has been hyped up the ass to the general public is to be this major no # hit and the critics who did love Bourn and MMS can’t tolerate this movie there is a problem..and it has to be the acting. To me Rachel never was a good actress I have seen Last Kiss and some of the OC i had to turn OC off a few times b/c I can’t handle her acting. I’m sure she is good for TV acting but for movies she just to me doesn’t have the right stuff for it.

I’ve seen short actress’s that can make the grade and be fashionably cute and sassy in movie or in photo’s but here she wore a dress that made her look shorter and the color didn’t do a thing for her..sorry for those that loved the dress..it didn’t appeal to me..

Now as for this HOT HOT ROMANCE….WHERE IS IT…you would think he would show something of happiness towards this woman. I think I saw a better picture of him with mom and sis and he smiled more..Here it was like he was in surgery as if someone was cutting into him without drugs..And lets say I don’t buy they hide a romance to keep it private PLEASE the press are not stupid fools they can get anything they want at any place and time..Hayden is a known actor in movies..Rachel is trying to make a desperate attempt at being a major star..and from what i see it’s not working..I think Liman better rethink this woman’s role bf he makes another movie but, he is dumb is my guess and he will keep her..bad acting and all..and little do people know critics do sell a movie not everyone has the same opion as a paid critic but word of mouth gets around and many that I read tonight who saw it almost knowone cared too much for it. there were some that did like it but said still Rachel was the downer in it.. when reading the review did anyone else get the impression the critics feels the same about Rachel Bilson as we have all been saying for months now..the woman can’t hold a decent conversation, she can’t give one interesting thought and she talks in such a horrible tone that people are annoyed just listening to her..She needs to stay back in TVland..Movies are not what she is good at..

I do agree though that Jamie Bell looked like he was the best in the movie..I too felt this way when I saw the trailers..and too bad that this movie wouldn’t bave been more with Hayden and Jamie and less with soapy bilson., But I did laugh that these critics are not as stupid as Liman hopes they would be when they see bad acting they know it and Rachel is not a movie actress..

I concur w/ everyone about these pretense coupling. These 2 never really look at each other. There’s still NO heat or chemistry whatsoever. It’s just all business - posing at Premieres and orchestrated photo ops. They can pose, smile, kiss and for publicity, but they CAN’T fabricate genuine attraction between a man and a woman. It’s disgusting how they remind me of politicians!

Jaime Bell seems to be the only thing that people like about the movie. Ironic because you barely see him in any of the publicity photos. It’s all Hayden and Rachel.

Annoying thing is that JJ only posted the bad reviews over here in Hayden’s thread, not with his “darling”/employer Miss Bilson. Very one-sided I think, but no surprise. Yet, reading some critics, people seem to have checked what this woman is NOT worth. Some justice finally.

XXXXX you more generous then most I don’t even see them as a couple or chemistry and HELL I have said that for well over a year..The bad reviews are pouring in seems many critics warn people not to see this movie..like teleport to another theater, don’t see this because if there is even a little bit of money made they will force a sequal on us..or wanting the main lead to die in the first half of the movie..

Well to me that isn’t positive reviews for Jumper..Bilson is a ****** actress we already knew this tell us in reviews something we don’t already know about. I just feel so bad for Hayden he always gets stuck with lousy actress’s in the 2 years past..some who can act but not with him or like this one who just can’t act her way out of a paper sack..

I think the reason smilehexe that they gave hayden this lousy review post is because he is the main lead and supposed to be selling the movie. I always wondered why MIT didn’t give us a review of the movie..my guess is they felt the same way as these critics.

Let’s be fair. The majority of critics aren’t going after him that badly. It is more the script they are chewing up and spitting back out than anything else. And, also the editing. Granted, they aren’t too kind to him and mention him in not a too good way but most don’t go into it about him. They are ripping about the script and the editing. And, the do comment more about how bad Rachel is far more than Hayden. They even say Jackson has the worst movie hair style in film history! The one the critics seem to actually come near loving is Bell. But the script and the editing are taking the worst beatings by far than the acting performances. And, if the script is total, complete, hopeless sh*t, than of course the acting isn’t going to be good. That’s why they are being more gentle than they can be with the acting performances. The script has became their enemy number 1 to the critics.

@ 115 i saw this movie last night and rachel was awful there are scenes where you could tell she was standing there with hayden and jaimie going “umm umm what do i do next?” 1 of my friends watched some clips and said who is this girl she cant act lol

I think Hayden looked amazing. He’s got a great movie-star presence and he does get pleny of good reviews. Let’s not forget that no actor receive only good reviews. He’s here to stay regardless of negative reviews.

As for the after party pics, it was another photo opp and he was with a another guy in addition to Rachel and at some point it seems like he and Rachel were asked to pose alone. If you go to Getty IMages and search for Hayden under “editorial” you will see the after pics together and see what I am talking about.

Oh! There is no question in my mind Rachel is devious. I spotted that with her right away especially, after seeing her spoon feeding Hayden pic’s last year for the paparazzi. That was an obvious tip off and the massaging his forhead one driving on the Century Fox studios route.

No body is that bubbly and happy all the time. She is such a fake. She is playing like she is just the sweetiest little thing. People like this you need to truly watch out for! ;)

I don’t think Rachel is that happy of a person when you have to pull PR people out to make yourself a name in hollywood..How she ever went into acting is beyond me..she can’t act well enough for TV how did Liman expect she would do wonders for a movie..she was said the be the worst in this picture and the picture is getting HIT HARD with negative reviews..on the acting and the story…I think they just should have stuck to Goulds book that would have made more sense then to try to make this into something it wasn’t..Bad press will not help this movie..and even the few good reviews as I haven’t seen any yet might not help either..fans of Hayden’s will see it..but really there are not that many men that will want to go and spend that kind of money on VDay..

Yeah, I’m not phased by any reviews, I know Hayden’s here to stay. He’s got that magical undefinable ‘it’ quality that sets him apart from his piers. I did not think he looked old Hollywood, just put together well. That seems like a modern cut suit to me. When you want to look elegant it’s best to err on the ‘less is more’ side.

I can’t say one bad thing about his look, the suit, hair, tie, shoes could not have been improved on. He looked awesome! Like others said you really get a sense of his stature, his features and his good looks when it’s not all jumbled by a big ‘a fashion statement’.

Being a bit more conservative (down to the shoes and hair) draws the eye and all the attention is focused onto his lovely frame and his amazing face and bone structure and coloring. Perfection!

Sorry to say I think critics have a ton of imput with the fans but, there are many that will see the movie anyway no matter what..I think Hayden got a bad rap with this movie..I think if this wasn’t based on a novel and about a teenager it might have gone over a lot better. But to me I think Hayden like in SW movies did as he was directed you can’t help bad dialogue and bad co-star choices that is out of his control he rolled with the punches. But, my hope is that the next few movies he is scheduled to do he will work against a leading lady that can act..

Bilson did get hit on her acting and yes they seem to always tank Hayden on websights for the bad performances of his co-stars in the last 2 years he has been with ladies I think that just don’t hold chemistry to him. And Dingbat Bilson is not in any way showing she can act..I wonder at times how she got into TV she does seem like she stands around waiting for some clue as what to do as if she can’t think for herself..that to me is bad. Her voice is like she drank a gallon of Hellium before she walked onto a TV program or a interview. It’s like watching a drunk who doesn’t make any real sense after awhile you want to just tune her out completely in hopes the program will get better without her. I think that is what the critics saw when they saw this movie they wanted the pain and suffering to stop and give room for actors that were good that suffered with the bad acting. Too bad for sam Jackson getting nailed on the bad hair..it did make him look totally too old.

As for the after party I expected to see some ounce of affection to between them but, surprised Hayden looked pissy in many of the shots and only happy in group photo’s and there was not one sign of anything in these pictures that screams to me that he has any interest past friendship with this woman.

I did like the simple style of Hayden. I guess the way Hayden had his hair slightly slicked back showed off his perfect facial bone structure and the suit showed his perfect body structure! His hair style kind of reminded me of something of that of the 40’s. He looked the best I have seen him look in a while.

I decided to watch TRL and brave watching Batsh*t! :lol:

I do hope Hayden is on to filming the “Beast Of Baaton” now! The BOB sound’s promising! :)

The few times he had to stand next to her I saw it as a man looking for the exit door, every time he smiled it was with this get this **** over with look..and when the party was done you saw Rachel leave escorted by another guy..he fell back as not to be near her too much. but your right Raven no real boyfriend would want to do that even now after a year or so of so called Romance..the press would have pictures of something affectionate between them but, the fact they don’t says plenty to me.

E talks will always place them as a couple they have for the past year now..either will confirm anything one story you hear NO the other they use innuendo’s to make it sound as if they date. I don’t think any of them want the public to know the real deal and the fact if we would know it wasn’t real the box office ticket sales might not be as good as they want it to be. So if they give us the showmace it works to their advantage. It sounded to me in the one interview I saw of Hayden last night he just wants this tour to be over with so he can go home to his farm.

I personally think the showmance is up as of today from the TRL thing. I think they already know that it’s not going to do well anymore. From Hayden’s actions, I honestly think he’s said screw it. This isn’t working and it’s not going to work. The thing is up. Might as well as be honest about it now. If he was still doing that whole showmance thing, he wouldn’t have pushed her towards that Simple Plan guy. That’s too much of a give away. Hayden’s not a dumb guy. Needs to learn how to break down a script and tell the difference between and good and bad script, yes. But, he’s not an idiot. I really do think the ruse is up. That push was too much.

Meredith actually LAAH was given rave reviews for him and the movie. I think the movie did well Awake was another disappointment it did better with critics but over all the fan’s didn’t care for it..I saw it and felt it wasn’t his best work..but, did think he has potential if given a better leading ladies. And I hate to say this but I felt the best actress he has chemistry with and did well with was Natalie and before that I would say AJ Cook.

Oh trust me Liman should be kicked in the ass for taking on Bilson she is no actress for movies. And the critics ripped at her not to mention Liman from the story, to the editing ,to the cast. Granted I’m sure there will still be fans out there that will go but, over all I don’t think this will get the top billing Liman wants it to get. I hope they rethink this sequal before they make a go of it.

If they make a sequel, which I severely doubt because FOX maybe an idiotic studio but they aren’t that stupid, then I’ve just given a hell of a lot more credit than due (which is saying something) and they are hopeless idiots.

Awake did do fine. It roughly took about $6 million to make. It’s made as of Feb. 7 $14,302,995 domestically (over making price) and $15,514,076 worldwide. Not technically a flop. Just not a fan fave. Different judging of “success.” Not meaning to argue just going hey. Give it the credit it’s due. LOL It made twice over the amount it took to make so it’s not doing too bad.

Granted Awake did make the money back but it came in at #4 it was expected to be #1 or 2 by the studio but fell fast as furious ot 13 by 3 week in theaters..I think Awake will be better then Jumper is for him but to each his own opion I did like some of awake but I might actually have to rewatch it I think it will be on DVD in March. To me it moved too too fast and didn’t fill in the blanks I had questions too..I do think it was and is better then Jumper. I just saw Jackson on BET TV they showed Jumper clip..of him with Hayden and being stuck in the cave place..STUPID sorry haven’t seen it but the clips are long and now even longer and what I see is not worth it. I can wait for June/July when it hits DVD..that way I can fast forward batshit and tune her out I can’t take her voice anymore..

I can see why he didn’t direct the other bourn movies I don’t think he has what it takes to pick the best cast for it..Matt Damon was a good choice he did well and I like Jolie and Pitt but let’s face it he wasn’t striking gold with Hayden and Batshit..when i hear her comments I want to put the mute on her but knowing that isn’t possible I change the channel watched Animal planet saw Natalie Portman with the gorilla’s.
