Violet Affleck Plays Peek-a-Boo

Peek-a-Boo I see you!

Violet Affleck and mom Jennifer Garner spend the day playing games in the park on Monday in Brentwood, Calif.

Violet had a ball as she played on the swings, had a few peek-a-boos, got a flying ride and made mommy smile all day! Before the park, the perfect pair stopped by Whole Foods to stock up on some groceries.

Poster who commented on how Ben looks a lot like Michael Vartan in that photo was right on. Too bad it WASN’T Vartan….at least Jen looked a lot happier when she was with him. I think she was starstruck by Ben’s fame and celebrity and dumped Vartan because he couldn’t help her career like Ben could (and did). Now she is stuck because she and Ben have a child. I don’t think she is the type of person who will bail out on her marriage though, she will try to work it out.

For the record……I am not a Jen hater, far from it. I have been one of her fans since her Felicity days (longer than I have been a Vartan fan, actually). I just happen to to think she was better off with him than anyone else, they just seemed to be a better fit. My opinion is strictly that–an opinion. Obviously, I don’t know any of these people and will never meet them, but opinion is what makes people post on blogs, isn’t it? And my opinion is that she had better chemistry with Vartan and seemed to be less Hollywoody when she was with him. If she is happy with Ben, more power to her–and to you, if that’s who you like her with. No haters here, honey.

Jen is not being a phoney. Playing with your child is normal. She is doing what she is supposed to do. Violet can’t be locked up in the house forever.
