Katharine McPhee: The Honeymoon’s Over!

Newlyweds Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas depart from Maui airport on Monday after soaking in the sun during their honeymoon in Hawaii.

American Idol judge Simon Cowell recently dissed McPhee after she was dropped from her label. He told Extra, “Didn’t care much about Katharine McPhee. I didn’t think she was a particularly credible recording artist. Katharine will end up on Broadway!”

Ariel on Broadway’s The Little Mermaid, perhaps?

I think she’s WONDERFUL.. So what if she married that guy? It’s HER choice NOT yours. I think she’s got a great voice, she may not be a Carrie, but her voice isn’t as terrible for her to be a Britney or Miley. I don’t see how you guys call her “unattractive, ugly” and all of that, I think she’s beautiful. Im not gonna lie, I didn’t really watch that season of AI, but I LOVE a lot of songs that are on KMcP’s album. If her voice is terrible, YOU get up and try to sing those songs better than her, before you dish out your opinions about her voice.
