Smart, sexy and serious, Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman are Hollywood’s hot duo.
The pair, who star as rival sisters in the forthcoming The Other Boleyn Girl, sport strange collars and slicked-back dos on the March 2008 cover of W Magazine.
“I get branded a lot as a good girl,” Natalie, 26, said during their cover shoot in Santa Fe, NM. “I’m, like, the prude, and you’re more sexy, more like … ”
“A harlot!” Scarlett, 23, blurts.
Nat and Scarlett vie for the affection of King Henry VIII (Eric Bana) in The Other Boleyn Girl, out Feb. 29.
This March 2008 issue of W hits newsstands nationwide on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

I like both these ladies. I have liked Natalie ever since her performance in “The Professional” . Natalie is not only beautiful, but smart as well. She is a a very good actress. I predict an oscar for her in the near future.

they both look pretty in this cover, it’s a shame they have both turned out to be such lacklustre actresses.
NP hasn’t shown any decent acting chops since the Professional where she is playing a version of herself. She is inspid on camera and completely lacks any dynamic screen presence, she is not capable of disappearing into a character, all you see is her wailing away.
SJ had more promise as a capable actress in Girl with a Pearl Earring and Lost in Translation and a more luminous screen presence but has chosen to be typecast in ****** roles.
All of JT’s women since young Britney have looked busted and Scarlett is no exception-yuck! natalie looks gorgeous tho

I can’t wait to see Boleyn girl..that’s out in 2 weeks..I hope they premier this soon..I just heard reviews on the Jumper movie was said to avoid it at all costs..and I knew that too..poor Hayden Christensen I so wish they would have paired him with the likes of Natalie or Scarlett

I hate W magazine, they always photoshop celebrities to the max to make them looks horrid and it looks like it got to the beautiful Scarlett. They made her look like the third Olsen twin! Portman looks great, though.

they are both wooden overrated actresses that have made it this far because of their “looks” really. In hollywood the only young women we seem to have are either the trashy trainwrecks or the boring wooden actresses that get by because people think they look good. This is why we need more Ellen Pages in hollywood!
Natalie is a very pretty and smart girl but she’s a wooden actress. Scarlett is not very smart and so overrated in the looks only because she goes around with blonde hair and bright red lipstick and pushes her boobs out thinking she’s Marilyn Monroe. She seems way too into her self. She is just a plain version of the gorgeous Charlize theron to me. She only gets roles for her looks and hype and because that perverted Woody Allen wants to bang her.
The picture of scarlett on the cover is very good. Its got a very high fashion vibe about it…very sasha pivovarova. Natalie Portman looks lovely as well…they look excellent in their own way
What’s that blue and orange tattoo on Scarlett’s left arm in the pic of her by herself. It looks hideous! Scarlett’s looked much better than this! She looks more scared on the cover and Natalie looks seductive.

The photos are not flattering of either. Natalie is the severe, underweight, more wooden and plainer of the two. Scarlett is stunning. Rarely do I use that word. More character and passion than Natalie and that goes for her acting too. Natalie is average, much like her British doppelgänger, the true wooden actress, Keira Knightley.
