I don’t have a favorite yet and I don’t know honestly know if I’m going to watch enough to even have a favorite. But I am not surprised to see Amanda who Randy described so more memborably as: “Sort of Janis. Sort of Joplinish,” make it.
I can see Simon having the same complaint about her as he did about Chris Daugherty which he did pretty much the same thing every week which was a rock number. It will be interesing to see what range she has.

I am very mad that Carly Hennessy is in the top 24. She failed already when she had a career in the hands of Randy Jackson when she was signed to MCA. Kristy Lee Cook also failed when she was signed to Arista Nashville.

I HATE Kristy Lee Cook.
I was annoyed at how she failed the first audition in hollywood week, so she sang Amazing Grace AGAIN, the very same song that got her the ticket in the first place.. CHEESE.
OMG and the way she tried so hard in the dance segment at the end of last night’s show.. PATHETIC.
I only like Brooke and Carly! The rest is just eh, whatever…
Still can’t belive they cut Cardin, she was the most talented over there! And the ways she reacted, WOW, very classy!
Oh, and I hate Kristy Lee and Syescha…
I am annoyed that we got to see Carly Hennessy’s backstory, first audition, both Hollywood week auditions, plus flashbacks of her original audition and her second Hollywood audition while we never even got to see who the heck Colton Berry is. She got more face and voice time than six of the top 12 boys put together.
It is obvious they are stacking the deck in her favor really hard, but all they did is succeed in making me dislike her intensely. And please, I don’t hear all the fabulousness they tell me over and over and over again that she is.
I’ll root for Brooke, Asia’h, Alexandra and Rumiele instead, thanks.

oh, and i think its hilarious how all the asians are supporting ramielle based on her race.its obviously not based on her talent because her voice is so typical, nothing special about her.decisions based on race are pathetic.
I turned the girls show off after hearing the comments from the judges in regards to Kady Malloy. While I Randy’s opinion often seems off the mark for me, and Paula chair would be better served left empty, I even thought Simon was out to lunch. Up to the point I reached for the remote, I did not think any of the gals were awful (which was my opinion of 3 of the guys), Malloy was the first who came up with a strong enough vocals to over ride the suspect audio problems throughout the show. You don’t need to prance around like an idiot (we got Ms Spears for that) if you can belt out a song, and Malloy did just that. I’ll catch the rest with my family on tape, but last night I just had enough. If Paula somehow has any relevance on that show, then surely every one of the girls did Wednesday night. Mind you, that first show is more like opening night for most of us, and not so much for the judges, but never got so fed up with the judges as I was last night (and on a couple of the guys Tuesday, but that is another story).

Idol made a big mistake buy cutting Alaina Whitaker.She never even got to sing her kind of music which is country,She is even much better singer than Carrie Underwood.I love Aaina because she doesnt sing through her nose and she doesnt scream. Keep your ears open because Alaina will be back!!!
