James Wilke is Bubble Boy
Sarah Jessica Parker pushes her 5-year-old son, James Wilke Broderick, to school through the West Village in New York City on Thursday, Valentine’s Day.
James Wilke staved off the harsh city winds, staying behind a protective plastic bubble while riding in his stroller.
Sex and the City: The Movie rolls out in theaters on May 30th.

Do any of you have children? Strollers can save your life if you are going somewhere way farther than a five-year-old can walk. And it’s a lot better for the environment than strapping him into the back of an SUV while you run errands.
That’s a Maclaren Volo and the weight limit is 55lbs.
The wind can be very harsh and for all you people know, her son may have asthma!
I know that my 6.5yr old has asthma and bad wind that practically pushes you will easily spur on an attack.
I would have no qualms about letting him ride and putting the wind/rain cover (it IS intended for both) on to protect him.
Also, you have no idea how cold it was… do you really want this child to get frostbite just because you think he’s too old to be in a stroller??
come ON people.
And maybe they were unexpectedly running late… who knows??
“Benzy @ 02/15/2008 at 4:01 pm Have any of you ever escorted a child around Manhattan in the winter? The plastic and the stroller are necessities. Keeping you children comfortable and safe in a major metro area requires a different tactic then hopping in the Ford Expedition and slugging your little brat to Chuck E. Cheese, or what ever Taupe colored megashit mall you take your kids to.”
I, too, grew up in a metropolitan area, but I don’t recall at 5 yrs old my mom pushing me around in a stroller because it was cold. When it was cold, we bundled up and walked faster. So if that is how people in NYC deal with kids & the cold, you all are a bunch of retards!
i think is a little overprotective, but if she wants to push the kid in the stroller is because sarah think is right. And after all she is his mom.
