Scarlett Johansson: Anywhere I Lay My Head

Scarlett Johansson (in Stella McCartney) attends The Other Boleyn Girl photocall as part of the 2008 Berlinale Film Festival at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Friday in Berlin, Germany.

Boleyn hits theaters two weeks from now–Friday, Feb. 29.

This past Tuesday, Scarlett, 23, unveiled her debut album, “Anywhere I Lay My Head,” for media at New York’s Joe’s Pub. The album includes 10 Tom Waits covers and one original (”Song for Jo”).

Look for Scarlett’s new album in stores May 20. In the meantime, here’s the tracklisting for “Anywhere I Lay My Head”:

I agree. I am a stylist & loud prints should only be worn by very thin people. This dress is very unflattering and makes her look 10 lbs. heavier. Flat shoes were also a poor choice with this. She needs the height to elongate her…especially standing next to petite Natalie Portman. Not well thought out. Plus, I think she is over rated.

She is 10 lbs heavier. Look at her legs. She is wearing black tights and her legs look heavy compared to Portman - a lot heavier - now my experiece has been that black tights will make your legs look thinner - so how big is she?

i know scarjo has had an ongoing battle with her weight , this outfit does her know justice, she looks short and plump. she is to fat now. next to natalie she is chubby. but at least her roots are done. i like scar i hope she looses this weight.

as much as I love Scarlett - wtf is she wearing?! I have the exact same body type, and I’m about the same height. and even though I know jack about fashion, I know what looks good on me, and what doesn’t. just like there are things only curvy people can wear (hello, Keira Knightley), some things only look good on waifish women. it’s a shame Scarlett often chooses such lame and unflattering outfits, because she is absolitely stunning when she wears the right clothes (e.g. at the Grammy’s, in Venice in 2005, etc). I hope she’ll wear something nicer for the red carpet later today.

You’re right Scarlett doens’t look chubby..she looks FAT! She looks discusting! I saw her in the movie trailor for the other Boleyn girl and without makeup, honestly, she looks like “the ugly girl” in a group. Her looks are manly and I’ll go as far to say, gives her a mentally chanlleged look. When she talked, I couldn’t believe how manly and rough her voice sounded and with her chbby face with big floppy lips, just was discusting. Angelina has a beautiful fae because her big lips compliment her slim face, Scarlette’s fat face collides with her fat lips and it’s not a good mix.

Sorry, I know some of you will disaree but I’m just calling it like I see it. I do work in cinema and I do know what I’m talking about to an extent.

Does it creep anyone else out how weird Scarlett looks at Natalie? I saw them on a morning talk show promoting the movie, and it was almost embarrassing how Scarlett was starring at Natalie. Natalie was very professional and answering questions and what not, but Scarlet couldn’t take her eyes off of Natalie even though Natalie barely even looked at Scarlet. It was very strange to say the LEAST! A friend of mine who knew Scarlet way back when said she was bi-sexual and everyone knew it. I guess she keeps it a little more hidden now.

Scar isn’t so cute jmo.but she is is alright. I do like Scar. As 4 her outfit it was a terrible choice, not flattering, it appears she has gained weight, in her face definitely, and Im not trying to be mean but she has a bad profile like Lurch. Her face being heavy with full lips makes her face piggish. So she should tone it down.

FAT? CHUBBY? Shallow much? Oh, get over yourselves. I’m sure most of you are lookers. CURVY. She is CURVY, and I’m not using the term loosely. When you’re curvy clothes are less forgiving. When you are thin, you can wear basically anything (baggy sweats, a potato sack with no shape) and most will still see the obvious: Thin.

Yes, Scarlett’s dress and flats do no sort of justice to her figure in anyway. It’s drab and too earthy. But take a real gander at the THIRD to last photo of her and Natalie. Clearly, she’s no cow. Her waste is tiny. But the looseness of her dress de-emphasizes her curves, giving an overall “frumpy and lumpy” look. She’s a curvy, petite woman that choose a horrible outfit. THE END.

Um no she is a fatty and she aint that tall. You can be slim with curves, u dont have to be a porker or super thin..scarlett is not really pretty. i see women everyday who are better looking, in malls,stores,ect..I do watch her movies, some of them. have nada against her, i say she needs to shed 6 0 lbs.

What an awful dress on ScarJo… really, it’s never wise to wear draperies to promo photo ops.

I don’t think SJ needs to lose weight.. she’s got a healthy full figure, but given her proportions, this print is just a disaster on her.

Nat looks a bit matronly, but at least tasteful.

funny how you’re all saying wah, wah, natalie looks better… i didnt even notice portman next to johansson i think scarlett looks better the curvier she is… and she has utterly no issues with weight either. sometimes she even looks awkwardly skinny, but her chest is her saving grace- she’s always hott

Wow! Give SJ a break, she is young and carefree. So what if she does not look flawless. That whole obsession we have with appearing perfect is just stupid. Kudos to her for wearing what she wants. It’s refreshing to see someone who is not afraid to be herself. She is infinitely better that the Jessica’s and Paris’ out there. She is real which is definitely better than plastic!
