I can think of only two objective reasons to suspect that Jake might be gay, or bi-sexual. One is that he is 27 and by that age the average US guy is married. Jake isn’t and if he is intending to get married why is he wasting his time with an older woman with two kids who has said she has no intention of marrying him? You would think he would be dating younger women who might marry him.
The second is that his “best friend” also is not married. Again this is not clear proof of anything, but usually one guy of a pair of friends gets married by the average age even if the other does not. When neither gets married….well one wonders.

Hey the dog comments weren’t nasty; they were funny. I mean if Jake can do it with Heath, why not with Atticus? Atticus is a bit hairy though. People like Jake MAY be nice people in reality, but they sell their image for money and consequently cannot control it. It is like a Barbie doll; once sold the buyer can do whatever she wants with it. Likewise Jake’s persona. He sells it for money; he can’t control it. That is why you don’t see actors suing anybody for what is said about them. As public people they have no “right to privacy.”
We´ve never known if stars like Jake, Tom Cruise, Leonardo di Caprio, John Travolta and others are really gay.
One thing is sure I mean, in Hollywood, an actor gorgeous and young always will be gay to midia!
I don´t matter I like an actor cause his talent and charisma and I think Jake has both skills.

Me i didnt sound ignorant, Jake is adorable young man, sometimes when i wach his films, i cant belived that this hansome man even exsist, but he is spoiled and he enjoy in life ( that is truth ). He s got lucky that his familly share the same bussines.

Hey Jake is PROBABLY a nice guy, but since we don’t really know him in the flesh, we can’t be certain. His media persona is of a nice, normal, upper class American guy who laughs a lot and has a good sense of humor. He is a good actor, but not great. His best performances have been in The Good Girl and in October Sky. Brokeback was good but not quite as good as those. His other performances are just so so. What is odd about him is that at his age instead of dating women younger who could mother his children he chooses to date an older woman who already has kids. Inquiring minds ask WHY?
