Brad & Angelina’s Santa Barbara Saturday

I try to stay away from posts with flyaway names, “JP fans love to hate” but this one deserves a reply, for the poster (whomever s/he is) is committing the cardinal sin of critical thinking: “induction” vs “deduction”

So I will provide the information and leave the burden of proof (if there is any) to this poster: That individuals are “emulating” high profile persons’ living arrangements and that JPs are single-handedly responsible for increases in cohabitations in the US.

I got my data from census.gov, Table UC-1, the direct link is here:

Since the claim is “emulation”, I calculated percentage increases in cohabitation from 1978 to 2006. If the poster’s claim is (partially) true, we should expect a jump in the percentage increases, which is not the case: For couples with children under age 15, the biggest increases happened in 1980, 1986, 1999. Actually, the average annual increase between 2004 and 2006 is 1.9%, which is far less than the annual average between 2000 and 2003, 2.8%. (I could easily compare BP-JA marriage years with JP couple era, but it is unnecessary for such a sloppy thinking)

There are many factors for whatever trends we observe in marriage and cohabitation, and JPs are not among these reasons. So, “JP fans love to hate” next time your post appears, try to use some logic.

Ok, I live In Smithville Texas so I dont care what the internet says.

The House its being primarily fimed at is 2 houses down.

There has been crew there all month long and a few cast have dropped by including Penn, however pitt is more busy, hes arriving this next week and filming of rural shots will begin then and the actual other parts soon afterward and filming is planning on taking 4 to 6 months when I asked them yesterday. It woulnt come out till early next spring.

She cried a few tears in front of Bennetts, but you know, if you get me to talking about it, I still shed a few tears over a realationship that ended 20 years ago and the tears are not really tears of saddness-Did you ever see the video of Aniston and Cox after the wedding. if you are a soft contact lens wearer, warmed sterile bottled saline squirted up the nostrils helps to clear out sinuses and relieve symptoms and dianad1968 warmed salt water works too…I don’t think “inhaling” will do it because the solution has to be physically squirted to reach up into the sinus cavities where bacteria tend to harbor. Inhaling steamed water helps to clear passages to breathe better and relieve symptoms but it won’t last long and doesn’t actually elminate the infection if you have one.
And “blowing out” anything in the nasal passages is important because the sinus cavities are all open to the eyes and ears, hence sinus infections often lead to eye infections and ear infections and you don’t want to go there.

Whats your point?? Angelina doesnt normally go together with Gutierres on UN mission, they do things separately. Just like when Angelina went to Pakistan in 2005, Gutierrez went there sperately a week before Angelina did. And even on her trips to Africa they dont go together. The reason maybe because Gutierrez probably knows she is going to be upstaged by her.

Anyway, Angie’s Iraq trip was sponsored by the US State Dept, and not by the UN, because the UN cant guarantee her safety without the assistance of the US Government. The UN minimized its force in Iraq or actually totally left Iraq after the UN office bombing incident in 2004, which killed one of its high ranking diplomat.

Raye, her point is to spread the party line from the Jolie Hate sites. More delusional nonsense and a TOTAL lack of understanding how the UN and foreign relations work. But, hey, why bother with the truth when your goal is to smear someone?

Jolie went in with the State Dept to visit the people responsible for providing safe passage, if you will, for UN workers while in Iraq. I am sure what she was sent in to do was to relay the concerns of the UNHCR regarding their worker safety in country. aAnd to get a pledge of protection for UNHCR workers from Petraeous and the Iraq govt.

UNHCR workers cannot do their jobs without the protection of the US military and the Iraqi government. Their safety has to be a priority of both the military and the Iraqi govt - and the UN (through its representative Angelina Jolie) needed to be given those assurances by both parties.

That is why following Jolie’s visit António Guterres was able to make his pledge of strengthening th epresence of UNHCR workers in Iraq - because now he has the right assurances that they will be protected when they return to Iraq to help resettle the refugees and DPs.

Good work, Jolie.
