Below is a video of Carrie Underwood’s rendition of “How Great Thou Art” playing in the background.
It’s the title track off of the album “How Great Thou Art: Gospel Favorites From The Grand Ole Opry,” which also features Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, The Charlie Daniels Band with Mac Powell, Sara Evans, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Patty Loveless, Loretta Lynn, Ronnie Milsap, Brad Paisley and Ricky Skaggs and The Whites. The album is available in stores now.

I like carrie. I think she is a very good singer and I think she’s pretty. I just can’t beleive, though, how mean some of you guys are. Who gives a flying flip if she’s wearing too much makeup or if she’s thin…she’s not anorexic or dog ugly. Give the girl some credit and stop hating….

Carrie is gorgeous and talented. She is the perfect weight for her 5′4″
frame and people need to just leave her alone about it. Her skin and
hair are very natural. She drinks alot of water, eats healthy, and she is a
natural blonde. Yes, she does wear extensions for performances but
not in everyday life. In fact she was voted best celebrity hair for 2007 by
Sally Beauty Inc. I think they know good hair and a beautiful woman when they see it. P.S. She landed Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford so
he must think she’s mighty good looking, talented, and a real sweetheart
too.
Who cares about the makeup? You can wear makeup if your skin is smooth and doesn’t have a lot of wrinkles and acne. She’s wearing no more makeup than the actresses wore in the early years of Hollywood. I like the makeup. She looks clean and groomed, not like she fell out of bed. She takes the time to put herself together. She looks like a living doll to me.
Underwood will never be like Britney Spears. They are two totally different women. Sometimes you just know these things. Underwood had a good upbringing and she has God in her life - not like fake Britney who pretended to have religion when she became famous. If Britney had a relationship with God, she wouldn’t have fallen so deeply.
The country singers are more conservative. Most of them go to church and put faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. You don’t hear much bad things about them and they always appear to have class on award shows.
It amazes me how people feel the need to make negative comments. If you do not like an artist just stop listening. If you start reading something you don’t like either leave the site or try to keep your comments civil. Everyday I try to tell my students to follow these rules and they will come out a better person. Everyone let’s try to stay positive while you voice your opinion.

It’s weirs to talk bad about the people that we even don’t know in real. How does it feel actually ? When you don’t know about someone well and you talk them up..it means you are lying.

once again, in our very materialistic world,it’s so sad that most of you have missed the point again.that is my favorite hymn with my favorite words.listen to the words and the music and if you only want to make comments about the singer’s makeup………….you’ve missed the point.

Her singing is amazing, She is a 10 in my book.
