Lindsay Lohan bares all and does her best Marilyn Monroe, recreating Monroe’s last (nude) photo shoot for New York Magazine.
In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot Marilyn Monroe in “The Last Sitting” photo shoot and 46 years later, he revisited his classic shots with Lindsay Lohan. Here are some snippets from Lindsay’s interview with NY Mag:
On comparing Marilyn Monroe and Heath’s Ledger’s tragic deaths: “They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone… I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”
On posing nude: “I was comfortable with it… I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor.”
On the Monroe photos Lohan revisits: “Here is a woman who is giving herself to the public. She’s saying, ‘Look, you’ve taken a lot from me, so why don’t I give it to you myself.’ She’s taking control back.”

The Last Sitting with Lindsay Lohan it was a bad idea. Even if it was meant to line up the similarities between her and Marilyn Monroe, the more you look at the pictures, the more you see the differences.
I don’t even think she cares about the general feedback. She had an opportunity and grabbed it. Bottom line.

Marilyn Monroe was not a saint like everyone tries to make her out to be she was believed to have been with multiple men. Affairs, Drugs so even if she never was pictured naked, falling down drunk it doesn’t really change anything. Infact in this photoshoot she did Marilyn was Drunk.
Lohan actually look OLDER than Marilyn did at the time of these photos. Lohan is a pretty girl, but she looks so beat and so used for someone who’s only in their early twenties. Marilyn was 36 at the time of the Stern photos, and she still looked fantastic.
LL should refrain from partying, tanning, and bleaching her hair so much. What was great about Lohan was she was the cute redhead - she had something unique. She needs to be herself again.

Um no she’s not. As tragic as Marilyn’s life turned out to be, she was a natural beauty even before the Hollywoodized version, and had comedic talent. Lohan, is naturally ugly and unemployable.
She needs to stop thinking that she is amazing, because no. And this photoshoot just no. Also whoever came up with this idea should be ashamed.

just no. i don’t hate lindsay as much as most people here, but these pictures are just wrong.
i actually like freckles and a pale skin but because of that trashy spray on tans it has several different colors, you can tell even though the pictures are black and white.
and her face looks rough, no where as pretty as marilyn’s. plus, she doesn’t have her appeal and presence at all. there’s just no comparision.
i don’t know why they would ever consider lindsay for this photoshoot. as much as i cant STAND scarlett, i think even she would be a better choice.
