Lindsay Lohan bares all and does her best Marilyn Monroe, recreating Monroe’s last (nude) photo shoot for New York Magazine.
In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot Marilyn Monroe in “The Last Sitting” photo shoot and 46 years later, he revisited his classic shots with Lindsay Lohan. Here are some snippets from Lindsay’s interview with NY Mag:
On comparing Marilyn Monroe and Heath’s Ledger’s tragic deaths: “They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone… I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”
On posing nude: “I was comfortable with it… I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor.”
On the Monroe photos Lohan revisits: “Here is a woman who is giving herself to the public. She’s saying, ‘Look, you’ve taken a lot from me, so why don’t I give it to you myself.’ She’s taking control back.”

If I had a subscription to this magazine, I would cancel it. Not only has she disgraced herself with her problems, she has now disgraced the memory of a stunning beauty, Marilyn. Lohan should be locked up for very lewd behavior and never let out. I really feel sorry for her family and the humiliation they have to endure. Please, put your clothes back on, and leave them on!!!!!!
I think that christina aguilera looks more like her they should do a photoshoot with her instead.
I just looked at Bert Stern’s famous “Last Sitting” photographs of Marilyn after I saw the layout of Lindsay in NY magazine. I can only assume that Lindsay has been looking into trick mirrors if she thinks she has what it takes to be in the same league. Marilyn’s photographs simply ooze sensuality. Even though Lindsay is a pretty girl, she hasn’t got the “It” factor that Marilyn had. For me, the photos come across as one more way for a fading starlet to grab the spotlight by baring her tits and convincing us all she looks like an icon. Sadly, I don’t think she succeeded.
Marilyn she is most assuredly not. For her to think that she is, in any way shape or form in the same league as Marilyn Monroe is laughable.

Lindsay Lohan is not Marilyn Monroe. Her freckles make her look dirty in the shots and that wig is awful. She wears too much makeup and should go back to her original hair color. She’s a beauty in her own right and shouldn’t try to be someone else. A shame she’s wasting herself. By now, her lessons should be learned and she should be choosing a better path. She would be a better role model for our teen daughters. Not seeing too many of them that any parent would like their daughters to follow.

omfg! Lindsay thinks she can pull this off please i dont think no one could. But if they did had to choose someone to do a shoot like this, they should have picked Scarlett or Christina Aguilera. They wouldnt over top MM but do much better than Lindsay. Marylin a true beauty, Lindsay a train wreck!
While I would agree with others who have mentioned that she does not have the all the goddess like qualities of Monroe, but it isn’t exactly fair to try to compare anybody to her. Monroe was to sexy and romantic as Jim Carrey is to funny. I do however think that Lindsay looks pretty. People either like freckles, or they don’t. I do. Furthermore, these photo’s were shot in black and white which I think was a huge mistake. The freckles do look a bit like dirt with the color bleached out of the picture. Her next photo shoot will be much better if they let her natural skin color be.
Really she should of said no to having the pictures done.She does not look like Marilyn at all,and if she did not have those boobs you could not tell what sex she was.And im no way jealous I know I look way better then her anyday.People forget you dont have to have talent or even look good anymore to be a star, be skinny,big boobs and a train wreck and your a hit.I dont think any star out there can do Marilyn justice body or face.The stars they say have “curves” still don’t have them they are just bigger then the stick models out there.They should bring back real girls with the hourglass figure.But no matter what your size is you should be happy with it,it looks bad when people force themself to look somthing they are not like must or the actresses out there.
