Naomi Watts takes son Alexander Pete ‘Sasha’, 6 months, for a stroll at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia on Sunday.
The 39-year-old actress acted as judge and presenter at the Tropfest in Sydney in her first public appearance since Heath Ledger’s death. Naomi presented an award on stage and became emotional during a video montage tribute to Heath. The footage included clips from Heath’s filmography and showed him presenting an award at a previous Tropfest.
FYI: Sasha is the Russian nickname that Naomi and husband Liev Schreiber address Alexander by.

I didn’t know they were married. I think Naomi and Heath had a real deep love for each other. I think it was bigger then just boyfriend/girlfriend stuff. I think they had a very special connection.
Liev Schreiber has been totally absent through all this Heath stuff. Where is he? He isn’t in Australia and he wasn’t in LA. Naomi wasn’t just close to Heath but to his whole family. And her brother was a good friend of Heath too. I wish they would still betogether. Then he would be alive and they would have two babies!

They’re not married, just engaged, I read it in one of those girlie magazines (Glamour, ?! not sure) I’m sure Liev is somewhere working, or supportive in the background. Maybe the paps just didn’t photograph him. They’re a great couple.
Cute baby, he’s adorable. Love Naomi, such a great actress and she has such a soft beauty about her. I’m always intrigued by her friendship with Nicole, they don’t seem as close as they once were, but maybe having babies will bring them closer again.
The baby is adorable and Naomi looks gorgeous (love the top too). Liev is doing the Wolverine movie with Hugh Jackman . I think in New Zealand. Naomi looks so happy, good for her!
