OlderPrison Break: Season Finale or Series Finale?
FOX aired the “season finale” of Prison Break tonight. Let me recap the ridiculousness for you:
LJ and Sofia get saved. Sofia leaves James. Sophia gets shot. Lincoln stays behind to take care of her. Michael reminisces about Sarah. Mahone, Whistler and Gretchen are are cahoots with one another. Long live The Company!
Lots of unanswered questions but this will probably be the last we see of Michael and Lincoln, anyway. No word from the network on renewal–not good news.
The Boston Herald seems to done with the series: “Please, don’t add another year of Prison Break to viewers’ sentence… FOX should pardon its viewers and give them early parole. We’ve done our time. We don’t need any more of this crime.”

I also thought the 2nd season was not that interesting too but I stuck with it and was rewarded with the 3rd season that was by far one of the best. So what if Sarah was murdered, get over it, Was she that pivotal to the plot? HONESTLY think about it. Could that have made the difference to your viewership.
This television show is not a romantic comedy, nor is a romantic drama per-say. It’s more of a intellectual drama, like the Inside Man (Great movie) OR 24. SO WHAT if she died, honestly her character’s contribution was stale and not worth the time and effort to keep on board. She was done after season 2.
It was a good show, no matter people say and it remained a good show, no matter what lame critics say.

Whoever wrote the article in The Boston Herald must be one of these “novice TV critics.” IMO, what they say doesn’t matter anyway. This person must be one of those nitwits that’s in LOVE with “reality TV” shows. Frankly, I’m sick of all of them. After watching part of the second season of “The Bachelor” (I didn’t even watch the 1st) and part of the first season of “Survivor,” I got burned out on them rather quickly.
I love the show. It is truly the best thing on TV and I say “IS” because I AM hoping for another season. I think the show could survive just one more season giving us, the audience, a proper ending with Michael getting to the bottom of what The Company is really about and avenging Sara’s (and Veronica’s) death. I don’t know why the writers didn’t have Michael cleverly remind Linc that they also killed V on last night’s episode. I think it should’ve come up when Linc was talking about how everything is so over.
I think season finale is sensational! I love it. I’ve already watched it twice. I’ll probably watch it a few more times. I really do hope that FOX picks the show back up and gives me, us, something to look forward to in either late Spring or Fall of this year. Not only does the show have great directors, great writers, and a great storyline, but having the stars Wentworth and Dom P. look like they do is just icing on the cake. Both of them are truly gifted and very talented actors. The entire first season cast is awesome and overflows with talent.
If this is the end of the show, which I hope it isn’t, I can’t wait to see them in something else (especially Wentworth with his beautiful ass!)!!!!!!!!!!

Prison Break was a good show for a while. But I have to admit it slowly went down hill. I still watched it sometimes but i felt it wasn’t really worth it. It is now time to end the show. I feel there isn’t a reason for it to continue. Fox, please end the show.

Clearly not, cause if you were paying attention you would have realized it was a good show, especially the 3rd season, It never went down hill, maybe slowed down a bit in season 2 but definately picked up speed in season 3.
Oh and Wentworth will definately be doing more movies if the show is over.
He also mentioned in an interview on youtube that he’s writing, as in scripts because there are stories that he would like to see that aren’t being told.
So I think he will eventually try his hand at writing or producing, but you know Wentworth is all about being slow, deliberate, and diligent about what he gets involved in so we might not see him for some time,
Oh will I ever miss those eyes and his beautiful behind!
the finale was to die for amazing. and it can not end this way .we need those brothers back next season . its my favorite show & it would be a shame to see it end

i adored this serie but the thirs season was boring if theres another one which i hope they better put something to put some action cuz sona was boooooring.
The Season 4 I want to see:
Sara is alive. It was some other woman’s head in that box.She and Michael finally get to be a couple. They can just call it ‘Michael and Sara: Panama’.
SWC must come back, of course. I will never watch Michael with another woman. Never.
And as for FOX, how could you people be so DUMB?????
It better bloody not be the last we of PB!!! I love the show, especially this season, its a lot darker and lots more action packed.
Fox better pull their finger out & get it sorted!!!

I’m agree with you Maritza, for Michael’s evolution and the show ,sarah has to die unfortunately or maybe she can comes back but not before the end of the show and i hope it’s not soon…i mean i want see others seasons…(4, 5, the writers can do it the problem now is Fox…)
If this is the end of the show, then Fox really nows how to **** up a show. If any plans for future seasons any time soon, then, good strategy. Prison Break is the best show I’ve ever seen.
i think the whole team have worked real hard for this creation.
everybody in this business has his own dreams, expectations, hopes, interests like the rest of us. i’ve seen in this series how actors put their souls, how they struggle to give the best and although i’m very found of wentworth, i think the rest of them did well.
not to mention the team behind what you see.
i respect their work, intuition, vision and courage.
i hope this will not end and to be true for one reason: to see wentworth.
i’m aware that don’t have to stuck in this if there’s nothing to show.
wentworth is a decent person and he has a very good effect on people. he generate confort.
i love and support you unconditionally.

You are nobody to tell me that I wasn’t paying attention. I was merely stating my opinion and then people like you start attacking. If you can’t handle opinions maybe you should steer clear from the comment section of these kinds of forums. It is just a suggestion. I still stand with my opinion and feel that the third season was the absolute worst season. You happen to think it was a good season and I respect that. It is you opinion. I did say that Prison Break was a good show but that it slowly went down hill. Maybe you should pay attention when you read. Please don’t attack people for stating an opinion and don’t put words in their mouths… that’s not nice.
To everybody that hold hopes of Sara being alive,….SHE IS DEAD AND SHE IS NOT COMING BACK!!!!! EVERYBODY AT FOX HAS OFFICIALLY SAID THAT SHE IS DEAD. I don’t want to be harsh but it is the truth. I am sorry that a bunch of you liked Sara but she is DEAD now and it has been made official. I wouldn’t keep my hopes up. Sorry everybody.

There was petitions just about Sarah’s return. I hope there will be 1000 petitions about the PB return with more epis. season 3 and (or) a season 4. All countries’ fans, unite !

I just found the opinion of someone who doesn’t watch the show or only watched it sometimes and yet says please end the show Fox…a bit hypocritical.
I did not mean to attack your opinion, but if it came across as that…sorry.
But whatever, if you feel the show needs to end then that’s your opinion. I don’t agree because they still have a lot to work with (at least for one more season) and the finale proved that.

this sucks. ending the series after just 13 episodes. its not fair on us the fans of this series. yes the strike happened but in turn cutting a season short. forgetting that without us (the fans) they have nothing anyway. no job. no series to strike for, no series to write about. and not sure if there is gonna be a season 4. this really sucks!!!!!
After the last two episodes, how would anyone who saw those episodes seriously want this show off the air ? These to episodes where absolute Prison break prime ! Whatever happend before in S3, the last to eps totally und utterly made up for it - and more. The show is far from finished. Michael is out for revenge now and he is bringing the Company down !

A fourth season of Prison Break has not been officially picked up yet. But our next season is NEVER picked up this early in the year, so that doesn’t mean much. I disagree with Ausiello. I believe we will be picked up for a 4th season. I can’t guarantee it. I just feel it will happen. So don’t worry about rumors from reporters … if the show is getting cancelled, as soon as i know, I will tell you guys. but like I said, i don’t think it is going to happen. I have faith.

Yes really……..wow that’s so pathetic!
The first season was far fetched yet interesting. The second season increased the level of stupidity in the writing/plot. Season three was laughably bad. I can’t believe anyone over 14yrs old can watch this show and not laugh at how poorly written and acted it is.
