Three months ago, my best friend went to a job interview and the interviewer asked her if she had a child since she was married…she replied that she could gave birth to her first child in a minute to the shocked man who couldn’t believe that she was heavily pregnant under her jacket ! She gave birth to my goddaughter three days later !
——————–
Cool! But BTW, that is an illegal question under the Equal Opportunity Employment act. I hope your friend got the job she wanted.

Hi Francophile and G550,
It’s also illegal to ask if you are pregnant, want to be pregnant or planning to be pregnant.

Andrómeda @ 02/20/2008 at 11:30 pm

Yup! That too. For those of you unfamiliar with these laws, read up on them. As Angie’s tatto says, Know Your Rights.

#754: Andromeda, we took a look outside just a few minutes ago and saw that the moon was trying to peek out of its dark cover (the sun was the black shadow trying to cover the shining moon). Will go back a little bit later cause the eclipse is supposed to be over a little bit after 9 p.m. Pacific Time. In the East Coast, it wouldn’t be over till after midnight.

Everything is delineated except we can’t see it as red as it’s supposed to be because of the bad weather. Real cloudy in California tonight…awfully cold and windy too. Just the right setting for a horror movie, Andro. Are you sure there’s nothing to be seen from your window?

(I bet some cinematographer is already shooting the scene for possible use on a future vampire/werewolf series).

Are Brad and Angie finally tying the knot?
By Splash

Pitt and Jolie, nicknamed “Brangelina”, already have …..adopted daughter Shiloh, three and 21-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh.

=====================

What an awful mother. She can’t even be bothered to come up with a brand new name for her own biological daughter. Poor Shiloh Number Two. Boo Hoo.

Bwaaaaaaaaaahhhhh.

Idiots. This sounds exactly like an article from November 2005 citing the same $200 million dollar pre-nup.

===================================================
Tabloids tend to recycle stories. Same story different year. They really need to pay me to write I could come up with better stories than the balony same old crap . They must keep these fake stories on file in their computers and with a click of a button, turn it into print. I must say OK magazine is quickly becoming a trash tabloid like Out-of -touch weekly and star magazine (the worst). Some people still buy these mags even though they know they are reading lies.

If tabloids have an idea that they will be filming in a certain area, then all of a sudden it becomes ” Brad and Angie to exchange secret wedding vows under the moonlight with priest flown in from Cambodia, read all the details inside” They know if they write ” kentucky mom gives birth to a four-headed baby,” no one will buy it, so they give it the semblence of truth, knowing full well they are totally making it up.

#757: Mondo Bongo: wouldn’t it be a real trip if we saw the red hue that they’ve been talking about? Christopher Columbus was said to have used that event to get him and his crew out of a tight spot with the natives. They got food out of that spectacle.

Watch out for when the moon finally comes out of the sun’s shadow. They say that there is really a correlation between the crazies and that celestial body. They’re not called lunatics for nothing.

Hi Orchid. Pupusas are the main dish from El Salvador. Some of my friends are from El Salvador. They are good as snacks & meal itself.
Mostly they use corn flour Maseca. They also can use rice flour but it is harder & stickier to make. Regular fillings includes beans, cheese, and pork meat called Chicharron. Some can put fish, chicken & seafood too. You have to eat the pupusas right away since they tend to get harder but you can microwave it. On the side you can have Curtido ( pickled cabbage & other veggies) & salsa sauce.

For drink you can try Orchata which is good too.

the real tita: no, i can´t see anything here. i´m glad you can!!!

Maybe Terence Malick will film this eclipse for TOL. I seem to remember an article about them doing something similar for the film.

Mondo Bongo! @ 02/21/2008 at 12:04 am

Hey! vicki..

Yes thanks, we had a very good visit, she lights up when any of her
children come, she loves to reminisce, and i enjoy seeing and hearing her go down that road..yes it was more than good~

the real tita @ 02/21/2008 at 12:06 am

#763: ariel! hi there. Are these pupusas like our buche where you fill it with sweet red beans or mashed camote? Don’t think I’ve ever tried it yet.

Man, even when it comes to craving, Angie still manages to do it as international as only she can. She’s done Italian, Japanese, Mexican, American, etc. Brad must be eating all her leftovers cause he seems to be the one gaining weight in all this.

Some of these posters with the she ‘looks smaller’ posts are koo koo…how anyone can tell ANYTHING with her in that mu muu coat is beyond me. The faux ‘concern’ is just amusing.

Bottom line, these people don’t want to tell anything at this time. When they are ready to share, they will. What we do know is she is hiding her figure and has been for weeks.

the real tita @ 02/21/2008 at 12:17 am

#765: Hi, Malaya. That would be awesome if he gets to use tonight’s event in a scene for TOL. When we go see it, we could say…ooh, I remember that eclipse. Hah!

(It’s really a hair raising experience cause it makes you think back to some of the movies that have scared you in the past. It’s a night conducive to “aswangs” and “manananggals” cause it’s cold and damp and eerie because of the sound of the wind. Eeeek!)

Wouldn’t want to be out on a night like this…especially in Capiz.

the real tita. Pupusas are very different from our buche. It is not sweet at all. The first time I tried it my taste bud does not get it. it was just OK but now everytime I visit my friends I always ask them to make pupusas for me. But I find it very filling. They cook it on top of a flat pan sometimes with a bit of oil, sometimes no oil at all.

I am sure they have some Salvadorean stores in California that sells pupusas. Try it.

no longer a lurker @ 02/21/2008 at 12:27 am

tita, don’t look at that eclipse if you’re pregnant or your baby will have a defect

Mother Earth @ 02/21/2008 at 12:28 am

I love her

real tita. I enjoy trying different foods from different nationalites. I have the comfort that I live in Toronto where 70 % are foreign born & mother tongues of 150 languages are spoken here.

I’ve tried a lot of food ranging from Hungarian, Colombian, Brazilian, Portuguese, Spanish, Indian, Sri Lankan (which is very spicy), Malaysian. Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, German, Polish, Persian, Turkish, Greek, Romanian, Salvadorean, peruvian, Mexican, Korean, local canadian, French, Italian, etc. Right now we are planning to try Ethiopian foods. That Ethiopian coffee is fantastic. they brew it at the restaurant & you can smell the aroma. Very good.

A mommy-and-me time for Maddox. Can’t wait for Angie’s movie, “Wanted” to come out in theaters.

Mother Earth @ 02/21/2008 at 12:35 am

Hey Malaya #199
At the office and can’t stay to read these many posts. Whoa! What is the trick to stay abreast of things with so many threads with so many posts??? Anyway, thanks for the language lesson a while back. I got the joke but still, that sounds like one scary movie. Has it been remade?
Also to whom it may concern: I am not gay (not that there is anything wrong with it!! I am also a bleeding heart half Black liberal who would vote for Hills! Magandang Gabi, Malaya and all!
