Chace Surprised Carrie on Valentine’s Day
Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford spent Valentine’s Day together, of course.
But Carrie wasn’t expecting to! The 24-year-old American Idol alum was on tour with Keith Urban when her Gossip Girl star boyfriend Chace pulled a fast one on her.
“He surprised her at her concert in Pennsylvania for Valentine’s Day,” an insider tells In Touch. “They had a romantic night before she went off to do her next show. Chace is really trying to make the relationship work.”

i don’t think #39 and #49/#48 are the same person, their sentence structures and colloquialisms are entirely different. before you attack me too, i’m done with school, i’m 24 have a master’s and am working in public relations & marketing–i’m currently tracking the effect of the internet of celebrities’ images
carrie’s image is the complete polar opposite to chace’s image and demographic group, and i don’t think in a good way in that “opposities attract”. while carrie’s demographic might aspire to chace’s, which is currently very much aligned with his character, nate’s, unfortunately, chace’s demographic largely does not aspire to carrie’s demographic. it would only work if carrie were to start to crossover to a different style and genre. that is highly unlikely given how deeply rooted her popularity is in her country fan base, but she may be able to a little bit through a relationship with someone like chace. however, it will definitely not help him. it may be harder for people in his demographic to identify and aspire to her. i don’t think it really matters that chace is from texas or says he wants to retire to the country - he’s dropped his accent in both his “normal” life and acting and leads a very non country image lifestyle–additionally, his fans don’t and don’t want to view him that way, it seems.
why can’t you carrie fans understand that we can respect her talents but not see her as a good fit for chace? we are allowed to have opinions too.

i don’t think people are really being mean (well some comments are mean, but not all) — but it’s cuz it’s written and not spoken, no facial expressions. just cuz people don’t dig carrie, doesn’t mean she’s not great in her own way. but the carrie fans seem to love her with chace, but the chace fans don’t lover her with chace….very intriguing…!!!
i read all the comments, i agree strongly with all the chace fans who think carrie is not good enough for him. i wouldnt know who carrie is if chace’ name was not linked to hers in some tabloids. this is publicity for carrie not chace. i mean, people now look at carrie and say “is this the girl..chace is hanging around with? wonder what he sees in her”
she is becoming a known figure. i agree that she has a strong fan following, but we know who her fans are..

dont know what was on chaces publicists mind when she asked him to hang around her? she must have thought of some instant devoted fan following, but perhaps she didnt realize that, that kind of fan following is not what he wants or needs.

Chace Crawford mentioned all types of music that he likes on his myspace (since deleted) and in Seventeen Magazine during the summer. He mentioned about 8 different genres NOT one of them was Country Music so I don’t believe he’s a fan like someone here posted. The only place I’ve read that he liked Country Music was an US article that was more than likely made up. They’re known to do that.
I don’t care if they’re together or not but I do know that he’s never mentioned country music as a fav given the opportunity.
I feel sorry for both of them because of their fans. All of you are nuts! I hate them both!
