OlderHayden Christensen: Pass the Ginger Ale
Hayden Christensen stops by a liquor store in Los Angeles on Tuesday and is later seen leaving Jumper costar Rachel Bilson’s home carrying a can of Vernor’s ginger ale.
Bilson was seen boozing it just this past Sunday, also walking out of a liquor store with her purchase in a brown paper bag.
On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno yesterday, Mr. Christensen said he did spend Valentine’s Day with Rachel (and a bunch of others from the cast of Jumper).
Hayden also shared one of the most romantic things he’s done for a girl. (Drumroll, please.) “I made a swing for a girl one time and hung it at my farm,” confessed Hayden. “She liked that.”
And, the strangest thing Hayden talked about on Leno was about one of his two pigs (one is male, one is female), which both live in the house. Yes, in the house. Apparently the male pigs gives Hayden massages. Free massages from a pig!!!!!

If that really is Rachel’s house, then why hasn’t Rachel EVER been photographed there where you could really tell it was the same house? Just some food for thought. Weird, huh? And another thing, if they really were a couple, what is the pig doing giving him massages when his “girlfriend” could give him a way better one and why does he spend so much time ALONE? Where’s the so-called girlfriend at those times? And, he spent VDay with others other than Rachel as in cast and crew of Jumper. Not very romantic for a couple. I saw Jumper..it wasn’t great but it wasn’t the worst movie…He’s an attractive guy in a quirky way but he’s got a horrible voice! Like he needs a speech coach seriously…

He’s not lacking a personality. He’s obviously just shy and quiet and if that’s what you mean in lacking a personality than you’re right. But, there’s nothing wrong with it in any shape, form or fashion. “The quiet words of a wise man are better than the shouts of a king of fools.” Get the point? There’s no need to diss someone only because they aren’t all over the place making a fool of themselves and are naturally the wall flower, shy, quiet type. And, he’s a guy, guys are notorious for pulling that clothes crap. Hayden’s a lot of things but let’s be fair to him. True, his choice in film roles needs to be worked on along with the choice of co-workers if he can help it. He needs to play to his strengths which he really hasn’t done too well as of yet. But, let’s not diss him for his natural way of being.

I was in the audience at the Leno show and I have to say - I went in thinking he lacked a personality but it seemed fairly obvious after a few minutes that he’s just actually kind of shy and affable. I completely changed my mind, and find him quite likeable.

I stayed up and watched Jay Leno last night. The swing he mentioned sounded like he made it for a girl one time a while back ago. He did not say it was for Rachel. He did not even menion her last night. He said he spends a lot of time alone or lives alone on the farm.

I thought this was the best interview ever seeing Hayden on Jay Leno last night. Hayden is a lovable goof actually! He is quite funny actually and seems very likable. Articulate and who say’s he has to be a loud mouth show off??? Hayden is perfect the way he is! 8)

Hayden did say he had invited some friends out on the farm but otherwidse he said he lives alone and spends a lot of time alone. People like to read more into things then they actually are.
Funny. I never see Rachel @ this house?? Her house in Rachelb-France.com looks completely different from this one. I think she did say she had two houses. Who know’s? I think they are just friends and people are making too much out of it. Hayden does not show any affection towards her and he has to other girfriends in the past. It could be Rachel’s and Adam’s old house too? Go into Rachelb-france and go into galleries and then MISC. You will find pictures of her house. It looks quite different from the one pictured.

I think the point some are trying to make is that this house isn’t confirmed to be Rachel’s house either. She has NEVER been photographed at this particular house where you can tell it’s the same house. That’s what’s so weird. If it really was her house wouldn’t SHE been seen clearly coming from it too at some point where you could tell it’s the same damn house? More times than HIM? Oh, yeah. One more thing. It’s widely known that Rachel grew up in the San Fernando Valley. Not the richest neighborhood in LA. She hasn’t made enough to support two houses like that. Nothing against her for that but let’s face the facts. She’s not doing well enough so far to be able to afford all that. Then there’s the notorious constant shopping. Add it up. Money doesn’t last forever. Her family’s not that high up to support all that and she isn’t doing well enough for herself to do that. It doesn’t make any sense. Again, no offense intended. her and adam lived together in a house in the Hollywood Hills (the one with the red door) When they broke up she moved to a house in Los Feliz. There were a lot of pictures of her taken on a least a few different days outside of it last summer, it looked really pretty run down.
The house in these pictures is totally different, so I don’t know maybe she did move or something..

They’re living together. Proof of that is their combined lack of acting abilities has been rubbing on each other and further increasing their lack of acting skills. That explains why they were both so bad in Jumper.

I didn’t watch Leno but, If the man said he is single and happy and lives ALONE then those with he is living with or not living with Rachel is incidental they aren’t he admitted this with the ALONE message. my guess to make a statement without having to say too much..HE ISN”T DATING the woman. I think he see’s Rachel more like a little sister that he thinks alot of at times but will annoye him other times..I see her getting under his skin and the unhappy look he has when she is around.
As for the house..Granted it might be her Rental unit that she loans out to people she knows it is obvious we never never see her coming out of this place at all and she is never seen around him when he is there..Maybe he borrowed the place from her while she is living elsewhere or maybe it belongs to his family (Brother) it doesn’t look like Rachel’s house from the house that I saw that she is said to own..my guess she lives in the house with the red door and bay window not this place..I think the press are still trying to hype this movie up even more and her press agent is still trying to sell the playromancer with them.

If anyone watched the Hayden on the Jay Leno show last night people would think differently of Hayden. This was the best talk show interview yet! Hayden was polite, sweet, humble, shy and funny too! I did not see any arrogance whatsoever! I still see a sweet guy but only has a funny side to him I had not seen before. He did not have this look on his face that he thinks he is so hot. I don’t see that. I see kind of a slightly quirky funny guy.

The Rayden hobo’s live on Fantasy Island as if this is their dream vacations to see them as a couple. I do pitty them when you have to push, push and push so hard on something that isn’t happening when there is nothing positive between a couple that is more like a brother/sister relationship. Living together means more then just moving in furniture and clothing..it is a life together build on strong foundations. One normally gives up the other place for the other person..If what Hayden said a long time back that intimacy to him is of sharing and deeply caring for someone, I think he wants to wait for the right woman before he makes any serious committment that would include living together. I still see somewhat a shy man in him but, I think this would take a very unique woman who is on the same intelectual level as himself. Haven’t any of you ever thought that Jared and Rachel’s fan WANT all this controversy and drama because she would be forgotten if no one paid any attention to her? That’s what those false pregnancy rumors are for and the fact that Jared keeps posting that this is her house. Rachel needs the attention or she’ll fade away. She’s only getting attention because she’s linked with Hayden. Now that Hayden has said “no” there isn’t any reason why her name should be brought up connected to his. but, they keep doing it. Why? Think about it. This is all too obvious, people. Reacting to it only gives her want she and her drones want. Why do you think they are coming out in such force? They KNOW she’s gone. Yeah, I watched it. There’s the answers. They really shouldn’t have ganged up on him like that but some good came out of it. Leno may have done that on purpose to help him out. I heard they were pretty good friends. This is ridiculous as all hell. I really hate shippers. For any particular couple, real or imaginary. I can’t help but I think you all read way too much into that interview on Jay Leno… he was not cornered but HE himself always made eye contact with Will Ferrell. I had the impression that guy would have not even interfered at all if Hayden would have not looked at him all the time (once even as Jay Leno tried to ask him a question, very clumsy). And Hayden admitted NOTHING at all, he did not say either way as usual. He’s a master in talking without saying something catchy.
And why do you people trust his words that much? Gosh, it was himself who said that he, quote, “usually denies anything”. I’ve watched his interviews for so many years now, and with this it was no difference at all. It could have meant either way… so please don’t pay Hayden so much credit for what he says. Maybe people should really just concentrate on him as an actor and less on his love life, as all this discussing really leads nowhere except into the cash boxes of Miss Bilson and people like JustJared, as “Wait A Minute” has stated in her post #275. And is that really worth it, all this bickering and fighting over here? I agree with you except for the whole confirming he’s alone and single thing on Leno. They tag teamed him to the point where that “denies everything” didn’t work. I’ve watched that interview three times already and still could not see him cornered in any way, sorry. And saying that about the pigs with the massage was not too bright of him anyway… but I’m get used to that with him so I was not astonished too much anymore. This guy sometimes says things no one else would. I used to think it’s kind of sweet once (as he was far younger) but in the meanwhile I often think being always different and playing the “loner” or “rebel” is just not suitable anymore. I would prefer some honest openness much more.
And yes, I used to believe in Hayden being this honest guy and everything, UNTIL he said that sentence last year. That made me think a lot. At least he’s not as stupid as his so-called girlfriend Bilson who is contradicting herself in every single one of her interviews… but still you cannot trust him (anymore). He has lost a lot of his credibility IMO during the past two years. And I’m a huge fan of him for almost six years already, so I hope you will allow me the right to change my mind about him due to my observations. And I trust my eyes and own mind more than his words in the meanwhile. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s still a better person than many other people are who work in this business (otherwise I would not support him), but he has changed a lot, and not to the better. I think Hayden is a decent guy towards his family and close friends for sure, but towards strangers (like press and fans ARE) he has lost a lot of respect and often treats the fans as fools without seeming very graceful. I don’t like that. Also this game of “are they/are they not” shows that, or that he canceled an event many had looked forward to last summer, or that he says in interviews that he simply DOES NOT CARE in what people want to see him in, but he only chooses what he likes. Hello? WE are the ones who should pay afterwards to see/buy that stuff! Maybe he should at least care more about his acting delivery, as it was more than lame in “Virgin Territory” as well as “Jumper”, no pleasure at all to watch, especially compared to earlier works than “LAAH” and “Shattered Glass”. He would have the talent in him - if he wanted! But he seems to have reached a point he just doesn’t try anymore but thinks his beauty will work for him. And obviously it does with some people, but not for all. And he used to be very open and sharing about himself in interviews once, which made him so special and likable, but now he has his routine standard-answers, standard-smiles etc. which he brings up over and over again. The farm and the pigs have become one of them, as he prefers to be laughed at for that than answering any questions about his love life. Play the clown, an old trick. But I don’t fall for it.
And as he himself stated that he usually denies anything, why should we feel the need to believe him anything he said ever afterwards? I dare to say I know him quite well after all these years, and I pick out what COULD be true, is surely NOT true, and is PROBABLY true. I deal with it like that now, and that works fine for me.
The only really useful sentence he pleased me with in that interview was the statement, that he does not support animals getting dressed, as I can fully agree to that, same opinion over here.
But the rest you can pretty much forget, eye candy, some laughs, end of story with this interview. Or do you think he also said the truth as he yelled “Yeah cool!” to Jay Leno’s statement that “Jumper” hit #1 last weekend? Do you really think that Hayden has not heard about or read himself all the bad reviews mainly he and Miss Bilson got? Of course he knows, and now having to go into shows advertising this stinker surely is no fun for him. Yeah, I noticed that way back in March at the Mustard Seed when he did not open the car door for her, my mom also said she did not think they were dating based on the fact that he did not open the door. Most of what you are reading is BS in much of Bilson’s articals she changes her mind when questioned and never gets one answer straight..
I told Raven a while back I think if he made this said SWING for Bilson why in the hell would she not hang it in her place and WHY in the hell would he have it on his property in Canada..if she loved it so much then why not keep it where she can use it and appreciate it..but, if it was something he made her that was wooden and small it would be maybe a box like thing..Hayden even said in a verbal interview he loves to make things and give them away..He made Natalie Portman a picture of them in Italy that she hung in her dorm in college..That to her was personal….Alba got baked goods from grandma Rose..not sure what else..etc etc etc..so we see a pattern..as for the g/f I do agree with you I think to hayden every girl is a “FRIEND” I don’t think he has to play the enphesis on romance he said he can be romantic but he wasn’t this year..and that I caught when he was asked on Leno about VDAY he said he spent it with jumper cast but, nothing romantic..I trust in his words, but I find it very hard to trust Bilson and her words..she is confusing and unintelligent.
