OlderHayden Christensen: Pass the Ginger Ale
Hayden Christensen stops by a liquor store in Los Angeles on Tuesday and is later seen leaving Jumper costar Rachel Bilson’s home carrying a can of Vernor’s ginger ale.
Bilson was seen boozing it just this past Sunday, also walking out of a liquor store with her purchase in a brown paper bag.
On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno yesterday, Mr. Christensen said he did spend Valentine’s Day with Rachel (and a bunch of others from the cast of Jumper).
Hayden also shared one of the most romantic things he’s done for a girl. (Drumroll, please.) “I made a swing for a girl one time and hung it at my farm,” confessed Hayden. “She liked that.”
And, the strangest thing Hayden talked about on Leno was about one of his two pigs (one is male, one is female), which both live in the house. Yes, in the house. Apparently the male pigs gives Hayden massages. Free massages from a pig!!!!!

Hayden and Rachel’s teleportation adventure came in at #1 over President’s Day Weekend with a four-day total of $31.7 million. Abroad, Jumper pulled in an hefty $29.4 million, opening No. 1 in 20 out of the 30 debut markets. Impressive.

The glasses Hayden was sporting in FG are Wayfares from Ray Ban. Hayden has a sh*tload of Ray Bands. He has a black and now sported a white pair of Wayfares. Hayden has avaitor styles and various styles. The man is cool! All the sudden Batcrap has been sporting Wayfares. She has a red pair and a puke colored green pair. I’m sure she has now a black pair as well. She looks ridiculous in the Wayfares. Especially fugly in the green pair! All the sudden she starting wearing the Wayfares since last Spring. I thought her Moschino Heart sunglasses were cute and looked actually good on her but she has to make it look like she likes what Hayden likes. Ridiculous dumb broad! :roll:

You claim we are all wrong in what you think you heard and saw but, tell me Where is this mans uniform anyone who works in Security unless you are seceret service have some kind of uniform especially if your a/p or hotel security.. I did hear Hayden ask the man “Who are you here for” Hayden’s looks was pretty clear he knew the man was Press related..And Rachel tried to play coy and that too wasn’t working..I think Rachel would have given him the interview if Hayden hasn’t said lets go..He knew they had a plane to catch and that would only hold them up if Security needed to hold her or ask her something they would have made them wait till the situation was solved. Looked like the PR that travels with him closed the door and was ready to leave..NOW unless you have an extended version of this clip showing the man being security I say your just as reliable as the tabloid press..

If they were dating we would have seen, and heard the genuine response from Hayden but, fact his this man is totally the chill factor with Bilson..she has nothing to offer him but baggage from a bad relationship and she has no talent to offer in a movie..I know many think him ever working with Natalie Portman is a joke but, to me joke would be on the doubters because they have that look about them and when you have two people with talent it helps..

Liman said 4 movies but he wasn’t stuck on not making more he said this would be a franchise (whatever that was to mean) but, sounds to me if this did well enough 1 and 2nd and we already know the man will make part 2 he might be hyped to keep doing them..I just hope he drops Bilson on her ass and gets a better actress that is if he is smart..But, the fact he hired her because he used her in OC does’t hold much hope for me..

Someone asked why we didn’t see JJ having any pics of them leaving LAX or arriving in Japan..My guess is that they didn’t care Oscars were more the concern then getting press photo’s of a critically claimed bomb movie..My thought would be Japan won’t be that thrilled with it they dont have any real actors in the movie only locations shots and not sure how much time it was actually in..Japan usually can tell good from bad performances and they also know quality movies..but, my guess we will have to wait and see I think it premiers tonight which is already 26th there..for them..

Wait till tomorrow I think that is when the movie is set to be released out there and the premier is scheduled but, to them tuesday is today in Japan. I think we might see something on JJ or getty’s Images..just keep looking I don’t have website for Getty so I can’t check that one..But, I’m sure we will see plenty of Frozon (sam’s character in the incrediable) images of H/R in Japan..The a/p shots all he did was walk far behind her. He was happier with his PR Rep that travels with them..
I think the premiere will be early in the morning for us. Japan’s 14 hours ahead of the East Coast. (Just a guess here) If the premiere starts at 7ish in the evening the 26th, that would put it starting at 5am for the East Coast here in the States. I think the premiere will more than likely be on Japanese time since it is their premiere. At least common sense would dictate that.

That makes sense. The Oscar hype I suppose and paparazzi wanting to focus more on that then an actor (Hayden) flying to Japan with a D-lister actress or wannabe actress (Batcrap). You can only tell this was PR tipped by Rachel herself. I mean she is traveling with Hayden. I would think the Paparazzi would be more interested in talking with freaking Darth Vader okay then, a D-lister actress like Batcrap and I heard Hayden say, “Who you hear for?” Then Batcrap only gave herself away fumbling in her Chole handbag to tip the Paparazzi. Rachel was caught red handed anyway you slice it and Hayden just closed the door before Rachel could tip the guy!

Well I agree 100% and it is for this, and so many other reasons, why these film set romances (if applicable) never last in the long run. Take two people and force them into an unnatural, rarefied environment and of course people will start percieveing things in the other that are not there. Instant intimacy is not real intimacy and working on a set also creates a false sense of intimacy in and of it’s self. I think Hayden is a aware of this which is why he remains skeptical of romancing co-stars - at least this is the impression I get from him in recent interviews.
I agree about Rachel and her ‘quotes’ of late - she simply sounds like she is repeating everything we’ve all heard Hayden say previously without even bother to paraphrase so as to at least make it appear she is thinking for herself. I think she is Stepford wife material! Mabye she should marry a scientologist! LOL

As for them sharing cabs and him being stubborn. Well, I think if I were in his position that initially I too would feel a bit stubborn and the reaction would be to dig my heels in the ground and refuse to change how I live my life. I can understand this, but, it’s not realistic.
Any one in his position needs to learn that they need to give up a little freedom to get more freedom.
So while it may be unnatural to take separate cabs and flights apart from your friend the payoff is he won’t be asked about dating her for the next ten years in every single junket he does and he won’t be followed around as much in private settings (non airport/junket venues) like Home Depot providing his friend or girlfriend does not do any tipping.
That’s my take on it: give up a little freedom to get a lot of freedom. Do things a bit differently than you would normally have to to keep some normalcy in your private life.
I don’t think being stubborn and going on with life ‘as if’ he’s not famous will garner him more freedom I think in the end he will need to make some concessions if he wants to have his privacy protected. And NOT sharing flights and cabs with a female co-star who he’s been romantically linked to would be an example of this even if they are simply friends. It’s just common sense. Or he can be stubborn and cut off his nose to spite his face! LOL
But he’s learning! :)

That would be great for him to do if he could do it..but, his life is a contract deal and he has to complie to the contract deal he signed we don’t know all that every actor goes through when you sign the dotted line but once you do. You are private property to the movie you are linked too..And if they say Dance, date, or romance your co-star you do it..much of the hookups we see is because of them signing on the dots..In hayden’s case he is a celebrity bought paid for and owned..he knew all this when he wanted to be an actor so if he has to give up to get the celebrity and money then that is what he is doing..He doens’t have to like the fact that press are up his ass. I think he just wishes it was less then it is..

I agree with you wholeheartedly about that point but unfortunately we’re not talking about us. We’re talking about him and he’s playing it differently. Yes, we want to wack him upside the back of the head for some of the stupid sh*t and letting it go on too long all because of how he wants to be. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with what he wants. It’s admirable in fact and, yes, he’s going about it or has been going about it the wrong way but the thing is Mr. Stubborn (aka Hayden) is learning. He’s learning that how he’s been handling it has been hurting him more than it would have if he would have just set Bilson up back in the spring/summer of ‘07 and let the dumba** hang herself which she would have done. I don’t think she would have been that intelligent (no where near it in fact) to ever think he would do that or see it coming. But, no. What has he done? He wanted for her to slip up and the opportunity to present itself naturally. The bad thing about opportunity presenting itself naturally is it can take forever and a day. It’ll always happen but the true question is is it in your best interests to wait possibly that long. In this case, the answer to that question is no. It wasn’t in his best interests and he’s paying for it. But, yes, he’s learning which is a very good thing. He’s a very intelligent guy. His problem is being stubborn. I can’t fault him for that because I’m stubborn myself. :) Anyway, I too think he’s just still learning the ropes. I think he has a hard time with all of it because of his upbringing. He’s not use to the manipulative, bad side PR BS the Hollywood can be and he’s a little slow on the uptake because it’s such a new thing to him. But, he is learning. I think he won’t be doing a lot of the same mistakes that he has done with this and with Bilson the next time around. I think he’ll probably be more open and consistent as well. I think he’s figuring it out that that’s what has been hurting him. You’re right.

As the old saying goes give a person enough rope and they will hang themselves in the end..Well I think Bilson portrayed herself to be this wonderful down to earth fashion icon who made this big budget movie and was to be soo soo wonderful, Wanted a fun filled 18 months playing house with a man who wasn not looking for love in all the wrong places because, he knew that anything he did with her was a showmance..if he signed on for a show and tell relationship so he can show the press and the public that he isn’t Anakin Skywalker anymore but a Doug Liman hand puppet..Well I think he rather now be Anakin then this David dude (who was a mutated recreation of a excellent book which came off lousy in the movie version) I can see why Steven Gould didn’t wish to promote the book once the movie was set for release he wasn’t up for all the changes that Liman and group made of his novel..oh well best be Vader and pull a force choke on those that say this is a romance I think after this Japan gig the tour is over and he can go back to Buddy and Peteunia and be daddy to a pair of pigs then a box boy for a drag queen..

I agree that it’s admirable for him to want to not change how he lives and I really do think most people would react initially as he seems to have to wanting to stand their ground but it’s simply not realistic and as you’ve agreed with me his refusal to change some small things will result in larger, more unpleasant changes for his personal life. Thanks! I really hope he denies dating her flat out like he did in InsightGiansville and does so on a consistent basis as this would also be a case of him giving something to get something. Because although he does not like to talk about his love life the reality is that if he does not do some talking - if only to deny the rumors and put them to rest - then he will be talking about it for the rest of his life as it will keep coming up over and over again. So consistency is key, not going back and fourth between saying he does not talk about it and can understand how ‘those things” can happen on a movie set …to saying “No. (I did not date Rachel) I’m shy and have only had a couple of relationships.” Insightgainsville magazine Feb. 2008
