OlderBrad & Angelina’s Double Date
Brad Pitt and mom-to-be Angelina Jolie grab a late night bite to eat in Brentwood, Calif. on Wednesday.
Brad, 44, and Angie, 32, were on a double date with director Clint Eastwood, 77, and his wife, Dina Ruiz. (Clint is Angie’s most recent director in The Changeling, which wrapped up back in November.)
According to “Jefe” at zimelela.net, Brad and Angie were over an hour late for their reservation.
He says, “… just a sighting of Brad Pitt. With Angelina Jolie. And Clint Eastwood. They were over an hour late for their reservation at the restaurant we had just finished eating at, and thus got turned away. They handled it very well, casually walking out and [went] across the street to a mid-market Italian joint.”

I haven’t read the posts yet…but…the story doesn’t make it clear though - were Clint and his wife late, too, or just Brad and Angie?
Um, I don’t know if this is true because it’s Us Weekly, BUT, here goes.
Talk about a double date!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie dined with Clint Eastwood and his wife Dina Ruiz at Italian restaurant Divino in L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood last night.
Pitt and Jolie were the first to arrive at 7 p.m. They accidentally walked into Peppone, another nearby restaurant.
“Eventually they figured out they were in the wrong place and walked across the street to Divino, which is a neighborhood favorite of Clint’s,” a source tells Usmagazine.com.
The foursome sat at a table against the wall, with Pitt next to Jolie and Ruiz. Eastwood - Jolie’s director in this fall’s The Changeling - was across from them.
They ordered a bottle of Italian Amarone red wine, but pregnant Jolie “hardly took a sip” during their three-hour meal.
“They were all drinking the wine, and Brad had a few refills,” adds the source.
Throughout dinner, Pitt chatted up Eastwood while Jolie mingled with Ruiz.
They all swapped stories about their children, says the source, and their own childhoods.
“The whole group was extremely animated, clapping their hands and laughing out loud like they were old friends,” the source tells Us. “Brad was overheard talking about throwing rotten eggs as a kid, and Dina was telling the Pitts that they should take their kids to the aquarium.”
Pitt and Jolie noshed on linguini frutti de mare (linguini with clams). While Pitt took several bites of the meal, “Angie only picked at hers,” the source says.
“Angelina was quiet as the conversation was dominated by Clint’s wife and Brad,” the source adds. “Clint and his wife talked about visiting the White House, and Brad and Angie listened intently.”
After they all ordered dessert - chocolate souffle! - “both couples took small bites and continued to talk, sharing their souffle over the table,” the source says.
“At one point Angie got up to go to the bathroom, and you could see her pregnant stomach,” the source adds. “She wore a loose black dress and had a scarf around her neck, but a bump was visible.”
Pitt privately paid the $468 bill at the back of the restaurant. (He left a $100 tip.)
When dinner ended, they all stood up and hugged and kissed.
As they left, Pitt grabbed Jolie by the hand and walked her to the door.
They “looked at each other and kissed inside the doorway,” the source says. “Angelina was relaxed and pointed out a few pictures on the wall and asked Brad what he thought as she put her jacket on.
“Brad was just staring at her and grabbed her and kissed her again, pulling her in close as everyone in the restaurant looked on,” the source adds. :)
They then got inside their Range Rover - filled with teddy bears and a few stuffed animals, as well as one car seat - and sped off, with Pitt behind the wheel.

Come now, you know you’ve seen children with worse looking hair…. especially where WE come from, no? So why not give BP and AJ a break… my fellow African, besides why does 2 yrs old Zee have to get her hair all “did” for a ski trip? I don’t know how much you know about kids but getting a 3 yrs old to sit still so you can comb their hair is NOT an easy task.
By the way, how do I say good morning to you? Is it Nng di, Mudobo or Neefon?

Okay, everyone…a big round of applause for US Weakly. 3%…that’s not an easy thing to do.
I think Jared should changed his story in this thread, apparently the blogger got it wrong, they were not late, they were suppose to go the restaurant across, which is Clint’s favorite restaurant, they just made a mistake, they were not rejected just because they were late.

Got to give the manager of this eatery credit. He didn’t bump some other patrons in order to give Brangelina and Clint a table when they were late for their reservation.

I don’t blame her, those paps are ridiculous.
I don’t think it’s such a big deal if they got turned away for being over an hour late…if thats what really happened…because most restaurants where a reservation is required have some type of late policy.
And good for them for being nonchalant about it and just going across the street!
I can’t get over how pissed Angie looks, lol. She won’t look even look at the photogs, she is probably thinking “These freakin as*holes”…lmao. Glad to see her with some attitude, fiesty woman that she is! :-)
Good Morning to the JPs fans. So happy to see the children. Angie and Brad look great. Thanks for the thread jared. This has been a feast (of threads and pictures) after a mini famine. Thanks to all the posters for the extra pictures; Z looks like she is teasing Angie, that girl is so spicy.
