The star-studded event honored three of Hollywood’s finest who have helped to change and inspire positive images of Black women in television and film — both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes.

You must see Cruise as being neurotically needy, so much so that he apparently has bought into this idiotic snake oil CULT hook, line and sinker. And taken Katie with him.
It’s not just a matter of amusement (although god knows it’s funny) though; this demonstrates the kind of danger the religious con game/cult called $cientology presents.
Any time otherwise intelligent people can be led in such a fashion, they become not just fanatics, but rather _dangerous_ fanatics.

i dont understand this Scientology’and nor do i want to. personally, i think it’s just a strange cult but to those involved it’s a religion. but as my oldest brother, my uncle, and father (all of whom are lawyers) have said, many times before, a person’s religious believes (or lack of) are protected by the first amendment.
