I think Orlando DOES have body image issues. For the poster earlier on up who asked about some private party Bloom had last summer, it was during some play he did in London, and it was supposedly a private party he had after the play. Chris Martin from Cold Play was supposedly there, according to reports, along with a couple of mystery women. For a man who claims to want his privacy, it just seems odd that info like that would get out - almost as though someone somewhere wanted and needed it to.

Just remembered something. Orlando was rumored to have already found someone right after his break up with Kate. Ted C. had mentioned in his gossip column that he was “enchanted” or “entranced” by “another” whom Ted called the “athletic type.” Whatever that means. If true, I wonder if he/she refused to go public with Bloom or wouldn’t give in to his demands or do things his way. Wonder if there’s someone out there who called the shots and/or turned him down. Not surprising that that rumor faded away and was never brought up again. Bloom being rejected or shot down wouldn’t get publicized.

Now it has dwindled and it appears that he may be having trouble getting the kind of offers he did before. His management team, publcists etc get paid based on what he is making. Do you think he is really getting paid that much for his supporting role in his new movie? He hasn’t had a high paying, high profile role in over a year. If his popularity is affected enough so that his earning capabilties are affected, you bet they will start to care. whatever% of not much won’t keep them working hard for him for too long.

Did Orlando and Kate ever live together in his London pad? If he never shacked up with her after being together for nearly 4 years, it would seem sudden for him to have Miranda in his London home, wouldn’t it? To the best of my recollection, the paps have never been right outside his front or back door in his L.A. home or his London home. Interesting that they found Miranda’s front door, though, isn’t it? What I find amazing is that a big movie star and box office leading man success like Matt Damon can have his girlfriend (she was either a bartender or an interior decorator) without getting photographed with her all over the place, and can get married to her without anybody finding out about it until AFTER the fact! Bigger names than Bloom can do it. I think he can, too, when he wants to, but he plays games to get the press he needs when he needs it, and I think he tries to use the paps on his own terms. It’s hard to feel sorry for him when it backfires.

In terms of people’s coldness here, I think the REAL coldness lies in Orlando for letting Miranda look like a fool in Oz. She and/or her peeps should have kept their mouths shut. oh, and she was never christian, but was raised a catholic. and her brother matty is not a Buddhist, as far as i remember. he was always an atheist. he’s a party-animal too, which is one of the few things him and miranda have in common. he’s very outgoing, but harmless. it’s actually hard to believe they’re siblings since they look so different. last time i heard, he’s studying in canada and they only see each other about once a year.

So now we are condemning their religion?

Well, if KerrBloom does exist, these Rumer Rumors may bring them out of hiding. Orlando once said in an interview that rumors, while not serious, can inflict pain on people who matter to him. So if he and Miranda are really a couple, he may feel the need to ‘make a statement’, by showing up together holding hands or otherwise being openly demonstrative. If her feelings were hurt by these rumors, that is exactly the way to make it all better.

@287 I honestly don’t think JJ has an agenda with Miranda. No big blogs have taken the Rumer story seriously. Only Perez and page 6 who had first hand sightings. I think JJ likes money and hits. If he really liked Miranda personaly I doubt he would post on her so much as all she does it get slammed and more stuff comes out about her each time. You know, I never jumped in on the crucifixtion of his ex and all that fandom drama, but remember hearing about her also being a less than kind person(although I agree that Kerr is a comparable downgrade).
So, that leaves the real question:

What does it say about BLOOM that he chooses girls who seem to be not just unkind but cruel? What does this say about HIS values and character?

In my life, I’ve noticed that kind people generally end up with kind people etc.etc. Choosing someone like this when you’re young can be passed off as a life lesson, but if its repeated behavior and choices, it becomes a value statement. It makes you wonder what HE really thinks and says about people..so sad.

I know there was mention on another thread about her being in London in Sept and her bf finding out about them then. I know there were several sightings of him in London when he was doing his play of being seen with an attractive brunet. One of them said something about him running away from the pap’s when they were spotted, and I think that may have been in Sept. It seems like some of those things are adding up. i think they were cheating the whole summer. I agree that now that she is sans bf, and is wanting more than simply sex hookups maybe he is ready to cut and run. She deserves to be dumped, but he isn’t any better and I hope some girl really screws him over so he can see what it feels like. Sometimes the only way you learn is to suffer it yourself.

Thats what its all about and it angers me, if he is seen with, pictured with an attractive/pretty woman they are rumoured to be dating, if they are plain its just automatically all innocent.

I doubt the publicists would do that considering the fact that most the pap pics we have seen have been set up’s. Same story, different tones. But what these articles have in common is that each of them are calling MK his girlfriend now. Figures. Nice move, Miranda!

After he broke up with Kate she made a few comments about him being cheap and snoring, but mostly she understood how to play the game, and realized when you dish on someone they can give it back to you. But she had something going for her, a career and a life. It looks like all Miranda has is Orlando. Her career is disappearing, no contracts, she is getting to old to pull off the sweet little girl next door look that is her trademark, and she has alienated her friends. He is all she has left, so I believe if he is dumping her she is gonna fight dirty (pun intended). If she is going down she is gonna drag him with her as much as she can. It is no conincedence that the dirty story was in the DT. And now they are gonna make it seem like he was cheating on her, so she is the innocent victim. He better be ready because she is gonna be vicious about this.

1. They were out in London together. No kissy kissy or whatsoever but ducking and walking separate ways.
2. He didn’t take her to the Baftas.
3. They were in NY on VDay walking down a street. Big deal!
4. He left (what the media calls) her appartment for LA without her.
5. She is seen in NY at a d-list-event saying that he is a sweetheart.
6. He is in LA but there is no proof whether he really went to an Oscar-party (and this silly photoshopped pic of him and Jen doesn’t count).
7. No appearance of her nowhere except from sources which is hear-say.
8. Yesterday he was pictured by paps in LA leaving Ammo. No Randa.

So that is really all we KNOW of for sure and now re-read this thread and wonder how much fantasy all of you people have. Isn’t it impressive?

You make wonderful lists, but there is no meat there, and it is all about the speculation and the gossip and dirt, It is for sure about the dirt. This is just a bit of madness, before I get back to what is really important in my life ME. Harmless, but fun. And a bit of hope that people who treat others so callously will see what it feels like when it is turned back on themselves. I don’t really wish either one of them really really bad things, just a harsh dose of reality and a modicum of emotional angst.

Wow, it must be getting bad for them if this is the way you are gonna try and spin it. That is one of those sayings that make no sense, but sound good. Like making lemonade out of lemons. As someone who is familiar with PR, believe me it is all about positioning your clients so they present a certain image. I am almost postive that their PR people would not like the way these two are appearing to the public. Any politician will tell you there is bad publicity that they will do anything to avoid. Celebrites are so different. Especially Miranda. They use her to make other women want to wear, what she is wearing. If they think she is a brainless, cruel, and nasty bimbo, it will not incline to like the product they are peddaling. Same thing with Orlando. If his fan base wants to think of him as a good guy and they see a total *******, it will affect how they percieve him and his projects. So spin away, if wishing made it so.
