OlderMiranda Kerr: Orlando Bloom is a Sweetheart
Victoria’s Secret angel Miranda Kerr attended the Opening of The Vision and Art of Shinjo Ito at the Milk Gallery on Wednesday in New York City.
“I practice Japanese Buddhism,” Kerr, 24, told People at the event. “At the heart of it all, it’s about practicing peace.”
She even talked dieting: “I just did a three-day juice fast. It’s really detoxifying and cleansing for the body …. You don’t get that hungry.”
When asked if she ever has yoga workouts with Orlando Bloom, she responded (while blushing): “Ugh. Ha, ha, ha! Well, I’m sure he does yoga. He’s a sweetheart and that’s all I’m gonna say. Sweetheart.”
As for Kerrbloom’s romantic Valentine’s Day dinner together? “I can’t tell you,” she laughed. “I work for Victoria’s Secret – but that’s my secret.”

LOL, well they are both friends with David Blaine so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they invited some of their friends along for that naked twister game. David did say he likes to watch. Nothing would shock me anymore.

Now lets just get this straight.
If they don’t show up at the party together, he has left her to “twist in the wind”.
If they do show up together, even if they aren’t photographed, they will be “pimping their relationship”.
In other words, no matter what happens, they just can’t win. The haters will always be right in their own little minds.
It just can’t be that the DT knows that he is invited to Elton’s party, and they are making a guess that they will be there together? No, of course not. Silly me.

I think high end/high profile models and actresses are under enormous pressure from within their own industries to be pencil thin. They earn their livings in front of cameras that add weight/bulk to their frames, so I can’t blame Bloom or any other male actor for skinny-minnie actress body sizes. Orlando would probably get dwarfed by someone larger and taller, like Liv Tyler or Cate Blanchett. I’m with you regarding Miranda not necessarily being the best role model for young women or teenage girls, but sex sells. She herself hasn’t lived much of life yet and seems to go from one boyfriend to the next – no true independence or ability to manage without a man for a while. She’s an odd choice to write a book on self esteem. The Kate Bosworth bashers used to say the same thing about Orlando’s ex when Kate mentioned that she’s always had a boyfriend. Miranda just recently said the same thing in some interview from last October. And just like Kate was accused of spilling relationship beans early on, Miranda and/or her people are doing the same thing. If Bloom is true to form, he’ll just let Miranda keep on talking while he says nothing, and that way, she can take the blame and hits just like Kate did! He gets the press, either way. Miranda needs press, and Orlando needs press. They need each other. For now.

Did Orlando and Kate ever live together in his London pad? If he never shacked up with her after being together for nearly 4 years, it would seem sudden for him to have Miranda in his London home, wouldn’t it? To the best of my recollection, the paps have never been right outside his front or back door in his L.A. home or his London home. Interesting that they found Miranda’s front door, though, isn’t it? What I find amazing is that a big movie star and box office leading man success like Matt Damon can have his girlfriend (she was either a bartender or an interior decorator) without getting photographed with her all over the place, and can get married to her without anybody finding out about it until AFTER the fact! Bigger names than Bloom can do it. I think he can, too, when he wants to, but he plays games to get the press he needs when he needs it, and I think he tries to use the paps on his own terms. It’s hard to feel sorry for him when it backfires.
In terms of people’s coldness here, I think the REAL coldness lies in Orlando for letting Miranda look like a fool in Oz. She and/or her peeps should have kept their mouths shut. Now, it looks as though they’re playing games to get their press just in time for Valentine’s Day and the Oscars and to save face. I don’t see two lovebirds here. I see two people who don’t mind casual fun time sex and some mutual publicity back scratching. I just hope this time around, Orlando gets at least HALF of what Kate got in terms of the blame for PR games and photo op set ups. The same stuff is happening all over again, and the people pointing it out are being labeled ‘haters’ and accused of having empty sad miserable lives – by people who CHOOSE to come here themselves. I find that a real riot! LOL! Hey, we’re all here and in the gossip muck together. I’m not too proud to get my hands dirty.

Miranda’s quotes are, IMO, a bunch of PR mush. She’s being coy and playing the same games with the press that Kate was accused of playing. So, her Valentine’s Day with Bloom – the TRUE nature of it – is her own secret, eh? That reminds me of Kate Bosworth’s “Teen Vogue” interview from way back in early ’03. She was talking to her hair dresser on the photo shoot for the mag, and his name was also Orlando, and she said coyly something like, “Orlando’s a pretty unusual name, isn’t it?” See, it’s the same dropping hints game, only the girl’s a brunette model instead of a blonde actress. And speaking of quotes, Miranda said last October, in response to the Orlando rumors, that she was finally single and enjoying being single because she had always had boyfriends and could now focus on herself. Gee, that lasted what, 3 months? Or was she lying? Yeah, Orlando likes women of strong character. And I’ve got bridge in Kentucky to sell anybody interested – dirt cheap. At this point, I think they’re both full of you-know-what.

Do you really so no difference in people visiting a thread on an actor that they enjoy, and those that come here only to spew venom? Honestly?
Wasting a few minutes of your day, escaping real life in gossiping about your favorite actor, is fun and indulgent, while finding enjoyment in seeking out hatred is not healthy. Starting a journal for the sole purpose on hating someone that you don’t know is, again, NOT heathy!
Justify it any way you have to to make yourselves feel better. But it won’t change the facts. Maybe you should step back a little, and try to see things a little more clearly.
And of course that is only your opinion, one you are entitled to, just as though those who express their unhappiness are entitled to theirs. No one forces you to read these things, it doesn’t affect your life, so whay do you feel the need to label those whose opinions are different then yours as haters and unhealthy. I might say the same of you, but what would be the point?
If these two did begin a relitionship based on cheattngs, and I don’t think it is totally unreasonable to admit that is could be a possiblity it will no doubt create problems for them, For all those who love to point out how no one knows what really happened, I point to the word IF. There is some evidence to at least allow speculation that they were having some kind of relationsihip while they were both seeing other people. If so, can you imagine how must trust they will have for each other. She will always wonder when he is away from her and the rumors start as they inevtiably will if there is truth to them, and he wil wonder the same of her, Not a great foundation to build anything lasting. In the line of work they are in, to create a healthy long lasting relationship based on trust is twice as hard as it is for the rest of us, and it is not like it is easy for regular people. So if they did indeed start with deception, and cheating and lies then they are pretty much doomed from the start. Again note the word IF

she has been partying & burning herself out with many “adult relationships” (if you catch my drift) since she was just 14 years old, so it’s no wonder, at the age of 25, she is paying the price on her face. she’s already considering Botox as a career-move, but she and her people still won’t stop lying about her age even though everyone knows it’s a lie. it’s quite sick actually.
if only you all knew what she was like when she was a model in sydney before she moved to nyc. she and her model friends (such as elyse taylor) had well-deserved reputations as a bitchy, promiscous party-girls who found pleasure in hurting other people and making other girls/ guys feel bad. miranda, in particular, was nasty. but i don’t think she knew any better. she also nearly destroyed her relationship with her family over a guy she was dating. she is bad news and even though she acts like a thoughtful and innocent girl in front of the cameras, she is the complete opposite. the truth is coming out, and this is just the start………

I was told about this place from a friend who is laughing her head off about you guys! Miranda is NOT a wicked woman, she is a lovely, sweet human being, and if you met her you would know that, but you havent and so should be ashamed of yourself for thinking such things of someone you have never met!!

Well, I guess you have joined the “nuts” huh. She is quoted as saying she is a new convert to Buddhaism. And just so we don’t offend all of those Buddhaist out there, it is a particular offshoot of Buddhaism she is porfessiong. One that has been accorded cult status, and had been condemed by other mainstream Buddahist. Comparatively speaking the following of this specific sect is pretyy small in the West.. Maybe you should read up on them, before you pretend to know things that you don’t.
As an example Richard Gere is a Tibetan Buddhaist, and a follower of the Dahli Lama.

Funny how Sal just arrived to defend his “friend” after she’s been outted on this site for months. We can all see the pictures of Miranda, hear the rumors of her partying ways, know about the non-renewed contracts, see the PR stunts, etc. No one here is stupid. What’s interesting about this whole posting is that she and Orlando weren’t seen or heard about “together” in NYC the whole time he was there during the Madge event. There were blog sitings of him at different clubs that never mentioned the “doting brunette” or any woman for that matter.
They arrive in London together arm in arm and then are back in NYC within a 7-day period. They are seen all over NYC (she’s only mentioned as a doting brunette on most of the blogs), on the street (Orlando leaving, Miranda looking mopey); nothing lovey-dovey. Then we see her at an event covered by People and she was the ONLY celebrity there. She makes some lame comment re: Orlando being a “sweetheart.” Why would the people at People be at a non-celebrity event? Then that gets picked up by all the celebrity tv shows, magazines, etc. It kind of reminded me of the stunt she pulled in Oz back in December.
If they are dating, all of this PR stuff must be okay with Orlando which seems strange since he’s been dodging the press lately. If they aren’t, Miranda got what she wanted - more PR for a possibly flailing career. I don’t think she has much going on in the modeling area at this time.
This info is scary, and may make it understanble why Orlando, Miranda and other followers of this practice don’t seem to care about how they behave or treat others

yep. Orli calls the shots doesnt he? Very odd that there was NOTHING from Christmas on -even for the first week he was in NY when he was spotted TONS of places. Then what do you know-it all changed after those (set up!) pap pics in London. Then it was non stop with pics and sightings(pr called in?). Did he just give the go ahead after he saw how bad she was getting it? At the Madge thing there was NOTHING but now we hear even of their hot chocolate adventures?Oh, the exciting life they live! I think they might have had broken up or at least had problems after what she did at Christmas and then for whatever reason he decided to work with her on this. Either because they really did get back together or to not let her take it all alone since someone must have convinced him that he did mess around with her so he should take some of the heat.
