Jennifer Lopez Welcomes Twins — It’s a Boy AND a Girl

Jennifer Lopez, 38, and husband Marc Anthony, 39, are the proud new parents of fraternal twins, a boy and a girl.

“Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon,” J.Lo’s manager Simon Fields tells People.

The babies were born at 12:12 a.m. at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, N.Y. The girl weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz. and the boy, born just minutes later, weighed 6 lbs.

The twins are the first children for Jennifer. They also join Marc’s children from previous relationships — Arianna, 13, Cristian, 7, and Ryan, 4.

People reportedly shelled out $6 million for the exclusive rights to publish the twins’ pics in the United States. OK! magazine will run them in their 15 international editions.

Congrats to the happy couple!

That’s really nice to have a boy and a girl. Wish them well. Just hope they look more like Jennifer and not Marc. He’s really scary looking. As much as I like Jennifer, I don’t really get excited to see what baby photos. I guess I have no love for Marc that’s why. Too bad.

Hey Mae, if celebrities don’t sell them than they can’t set foot in public without the papz practically killing each other for the “first” baby shot. Anyways I think their is a difference between being ok with taking planned pictures and being followed and having pictures taken of you in private moments without your knowledge or consent.

Big time celebs don’t use the money from the photos for them, they usually give them to charity. These photos are an opportunity to give out, if not, more money to the magazines owners.

Marc mentioned a few days ago that Jlo had the best pregnancy, no morning sickness, no cravings and no complaints. She is a hell of a strong and healthy woman, I wouldn’t be surprised if she squated and had those babies naturally lol. Congratulations to the happy couple. She wanted to be a mother for a long time and god blessed her with two. I guess good things happen to those who pray!!!

Back on the 6 million dollars! I understand magazines need to sell their product, but 6 million dollars for pics of babies? These people dont need extra money. Its not like Jlo and Marc are broke. They’re set. If we’re giving out millions of dollars why not build some homes for children living in the streets, of feeding some of our children in this country. Great. Jennifer is 38. She got two babies at one time (a boy and girl at that) and doesn’t really need to have any more. She did not get nearly as overweight as I expected her to. She stayed smaller than Salma Hayek, which is good since Jlo use to be chunky a long time ago.

I’m so proud of her. Marc is a keeper. I think this is the family she was meant to have. God bless them.

I am so happy! that there are moms who labors boy and girl, a very justiable level of life when you are the most luckiest person on earth. When you gave each other first and you including me in the future to labor both. So, happy to see us both in the future too. for 9 months. I really need my enivronment there and friends too who have the same case as mine. I love you all and most especially to my elders who gave us all the love in the world.
