Benjamin McKenzie grabs lunch with a friend on Santa Monica Blvd in Los Angeles on Friday.
You can catch Ben, 29, starring opposite Al Pacino in his next project 88 Minutes, out April 18th.
But if you can’t wait until April, good news! McKenzie will make an appearance in the follow-up remix video of the Barack Obama “Yes, We Can” Song by Black Eyed Peas’ Will.I.Am.
Also set to appear in the video are Jessica Alba, Ryan Phillippe, Macy Gray, Black Eyed Peas’ Tabu and Beyoncé (if her schedule clears up). Expect to see the video released on the Internets soon!

It’s the PC thing to do now, to say you’re behind Obama, cuz otherwise you’re labeled a racist. Can’t wait until the Republicans have a go at Obama. He’ll be the one crying to get votes come the fall, like Hillary was.

This movie still hasn’t been released? I watched it over 1 year ago, when it was first released here in Brazil on DVD! I didn’t like it, and Ben doesn’t even have many scenes, which is too bad, ’cause that girl Leelee Sobieski ruined the whole movie!
Anyway, I don’t really have a problem with celebs who support candidates, it’s their choice, it doesn’t affect me whatsoever.

If you compare Ben in Junebug to Adam and Rachel(especially Rachel) he played a character quite different from Ryan in Junebug. Props to him. At least he’s making an effort to take on challenging roles.
Rachel gets all the magazine covers but she is Summer in every single role she’s played. She was Summer in Last Kiss and Jumper. Adam too is so much like Seth Cohen in his movie parts.
I miss Ben.
Ben is intelligent and politically astute. If he thinks that Obama is the way to go then I’m with him.
Aside from that, it’s great to see him out and about. I just wish that he was working more. He was clearly the most talented of the OC cast and I’m keen to see he get some of the recognition that he deserves. He carried the show for so long. It’s wrong that the others seem to be getting more roles than he is, although I suspect that maybe he’s a little more choosey than they are.
