Perfect pair Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie graciously wave like no tomorrow on Saturday despite the downpour at the 2008 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, Calif.
Ang even lowered her window in the limo and gave a wave to the crowd as they whisked away!

Preliminaries forecast significant drop

All those predictions of ratings gloom and doom for the 80th annual Academy Awards came true Monday when preliminary Nielsen estimates show this year’s kudocast coming in 20% below last year’s.
Demographic data and total-viewer estimates won’t be issued by Nielsen until this afternoon, but Sunday’s telecast on ABC settled for a 21.9 household rating/33 share in the 56 metered-markets monitored by Nielsen — down sharply from last year’s 27.7/42, which translated into more than 40 million viewers.
The 21.9 rating is also considerably below the 25.5 rating earned by the 2003 Academy Awards telecast, which set the low-water mark for viewership when it averaged just over 33 million viewers. It would seem to be a long shot for this year’s show to come in above the 2003 figure, even with population increases.
After starting sluggishly with a 20.1 rating in the opening half-hour, the Oscars peaked with a 22.7 rating in the 10 o’clock half-hour on Sunday.
The top five highest-rated markets were New York (30.6 rating/44 share), Chicago (29.1/43), San Francisco (27.2/47), West Palm (26.1/39) and Los Angeles (25.6/41). A year ago, New York generated a 35.3 rating, and Los Angeles a 32.0.
A batch of movies with grim themes, combined with an awards season that lacked momentum thanks to the writers strike, were among the factors leading to this year’s ratings tumble.

You haters under different names as usual are so pathetic. Most women do not annouce their pregnancy until after the first trimester. There is no manipulation. You its are so full of hate they are more irrational than usual. Never thought that was possible. They never said they were going to the Oscars and as somone else posted weeks ago even before they got together they were not the types to go w/o a reason.
Obviously a lot of people were glad to see them and no waiting until there is avisible baby bump does not mean anything devious. Now all the pictures are out there and the PAPs don’t ahve to continue to chase them for an esclusive photo. It was a smart move to avoid the paps. Nothing to do w/ the Oscars or the x.

No person, including a husband, can be stolen. You need to be real. Brad ran from that marriage before he met Angelina. You and your fellow idiots need to accept that truth. Both Brad and the X were miserable and wanted out.
That marriage, not yours by the way, was toast from the beginning, slick PR fooled you and you refuse to acknowledge how stupid you were and are. Brad is more married to Angelina today that he ever was to the X in what he himself called a merger and the X said how miserable a person would be if they led her life (this said when they were supposed to be happily married). They were friends with benefits who should never have married.
Brad and the X (since 2005 and it is now 2008) expressed their doubts as to the marriage both before and after it occurred. Both were in therapy and gave interviews as to the true state of their union, SHAKY AND SHAKIER AS TIME PASSED.
But stupid you could not separate truth from fiction, you closed your eyes to the reality of a socalled happy couple that was voluntarily apart for many months at a time, that had one spouse crying for kids, and the other spouse laughing at the idea of having kids.
Look at the their very different lives today.
Brad and Angelina are never apart for more than a few days, they both wanted a large family and have one, they both say the other is their best friend, they both say they rely on each other, they both love to travel and experience new things, and their actions are of a couple in deep love.
The X is tanning and beautifying, taking trips with the Cox-Arquettes to th same place over and over, making one movie after another, not expanding her horizons as she has a comfort zone she will not move out of. Her life is what she wanted it to be.
You need to stop projecting others life as your own.

Keep your husband or boyfriend happy so he won’t leave you for someone else. And if you don’t have a husband or a boyfriend yet, find yourself a man that enjoys the same things that you do. Brad and Jen wanted different things; so obviously, they weren’t actually happy with each other.
When Brad was doing Mr. & Mrs. Smith movie, he saw Angie with her son Mad and how happy they were with each other. Can’t blame Angie for taking Mad to the set because he is her son and everybody takes their kid/kids to the set in filming a movie. Brad has always wanted a child of his own and so, he befriended Maddox and had developed a deep admiration for Angelina, a kind that he never had for his ex.
Jen is still the same as to this day and still enjoy doing the same things she’s always been doing, like you know, yoga, tanning and showing her butt. Pretty shallow for a woman at her age, and that describes her fans, too, apparently. Brad on the other hand, has finally fulfilled his dreams of having kids and having a woman that he can call a mother of his children. And after more than 3 years, they are still so together, so in-love and still share many interests that they both enjoy to do, including their humanitarian deeds and having more kids.
Jen and her fans don’t want Brad to be happy. They don’t want other people happy. They are kind of people you wanna stay away from!

Angelina is a beautiful mommy, they look great together! I’m also liking Brad’s 70’s look; a little like a young Robert Redford and with the shades and suede jacket, a little like Steve McQueen at the beginning of “Le Mans”. Very cool! But I don’t know about those awful moired pants of his, they look like they could also glow in the dark or something…
