Hey last tita, ///, and malaya…I now think what all of you have said about Angelina trumping the Oscars is what really inspired this smear and hatchet job which ran on the ABC web site. The agent problem does exist to an extent, primarily because they know they can say anything re Angie and 9 times out of 10 it will go unaddressed because she rises above the bullsh*t. Regarding Cindy however, she’s actually Brad’s agent NOT Angelina’s…I’m sure she’d love it if she was getting 30 percent of the JP wealth as opposed to just Brad’s 15..but the fact of the matter is, she’s not. She probably feels (as does her agency) that she’s not obligated to jump to AJ’s defense…and more than likely AJ wouldn’t want her to. I think that’s why when she sometimes does have to say things re Angie due to Brad overlap, she’s very subdued. She’ll correct rags and lies, but she certainly doesn’t go all ‘Kidman Rep’ on them. I’m planning to do something, contact someone regarding these hatchet jobs…I just haven’t thought it out. Thanks for that article PT from Megan Francis, that was great. I truly think that in lieu of Angie not having a pitbull rep, her fans need to organize and become a block to be reckoned with. ABC needs to know that not only does this type of unsubstantiated bullsh*t lying smear outrage fans and women everywhere, most importantly it will affect them negatively…I am less inclined to believe anything from ABC news just for commissioning this hit job using the most virulent stupid gossip hag out there (and I’m not just talking the website where this popped up)…I am not buying anything that’s advertised there, nor will I be back. THAT is what they have to know. Right now, all they see is the article getting hits and hundreds of comments…they feel they’ve been successful. What they need to know in comments, calls and emails is that you will no longer be buying what they’re selling…that you are done with ABC and ABC’s website.THEN they might start to feel some pain and wonder about the consequences

I’d have to agree, like I and others said last Saturday, Angie and Brad completely took the spotlight away from the Oscars even if they didn’t mean to. But what’s ABC’s logic? The committee doesn’t nominate either of them for an Oscar even though they deserved it, but STILL expects them to show up? Why? Somebody expected to have their cake and eat it too. I’m so glad Brad and Angie stayed home on Oscar night. They don’t live their lives to please everybody else.

is abc a tv channel right?, so they wrote a negative article about angie in their website, but is not a special tv programm about angie, is that right?

Wow, that’s a long time to be on your feet. If it’s YOUR tomorow night (as in time difference), you’ll just have to give me the thread name and I’ll post on my phone because I don’t have a personal computer. I’ll just type in the thread name and see you there. :)

I’m hoping GS makes it to the playoffs again this year. Right now they’re tied for 8th place, so we’ll see. But last year was SO exciting! #8 beating #1! :D
There are too many NCAA teams so aside from Stanford, Cal, and UCLA, I can’t keep track, lol. But I love watching all the games no matter who it is, and especially March Madness! I’ll be glued to the TV, the games are always nail-biters. I was really into George Mason’s run (last year? Two years ago? I can’t remember). I was rooting for them to win it all, and I wasn’t happy when they finally lost. Can you tell history class was never really my friend? LOL I’m really bad with timelines.

ABC isn’t worried about the ratings of Academy show once a year…That’s just one show…they have many highly rated shows…they lead in neilsen ratings weekly…ABC had to know the show wouldn’t get much ratings because of the writer’s strike, no one was sure if there would be a show this year…then who cares…next year NBC or CBS, or FOX will get to market a show well in advance of the televised date…Maybe Angelina and Pitt would’ve made ratings higher but ratings were going to be low regardless because they couldn’t market with a certainty…hence, low ratings.
