The dress itself is lovely, but the color is horrible on her. I look forward to the day when Renee understands she doesn’t look good in silver or white. And I wish to god she’d grow her hair out, smile with her mouth open and stop with the peels.

Love Renee but her dress choices bore me. Each year she recycles the same look only in different material. Surely, she can stretch herself a little more. Yawn.
Why is it that women that are gifted actresses are judged so harshly for their looks when men of similar or lesser talent are not - Renee Zellweger is an outstanding and gifted actress but simply not beautiful by Hollywood’s bizarre standards. She doesn’t have cascading masses of hair (fake or real) she tries to keep the wrinkles at bay (looks like tons of botox and facial peels) and she must have to exercise night and day and eat only lettuce to be so excessively thin – Being talented is apparently just not enough – Women in Hollywood are pressured into starving themselves, injecting poison in their faces and the list is endless - and it’s still not enough to keep criticism at bay

It’s not about Hollywood’s standards. The American Actresses are just weak. Look at Tilda Swinton..AMAZING and she does not fit the Hollywood type. How about Cate Blanchett?

i think her hair is horrible looking but the dress and body is nice, i don’t get why people hate her so much. I think came across as a nice person and doesn’t sound arrogant at all, and most of her movies are good.

ugh, she’s not skinny or anorexic. she’s lean and athletic. she’s a serious runner. i like the whole blonde, pale skin, light dress thing. looks very chic. years from now when all of those who keep saying, “get a tan!” or “stuff your face!” are all leathery and overweight from the tanning and the poor diet, renee will be slender and aging nicely.
Renee has a very fair complexion that naturally shows a lot of red (much like Nicole Kidman). Perhaps, rather than face peels, a rather common skin condition such as rosacea might be responsible for the redness. If it is, makeup can only go so far in disguising it.
I thought she looked better than everybody. What a dress! What a fit!
